  • is it possible to synchronize the states of TCP proxies in real time (for real-high-availability of SLB)?

    Consider that there are two server load balancers working in the tcp proxy mode (e.g., for L7 load balancing). Is it possible to synchronize their states in real time so that they can be a backup for each other? in case that one is down, the other still has all necessary states to uninterruptedly support all existing TCP connections. I understand that this is hard, but I am wondering whether any free/commercial LB already supports this feature. Thank you!

  • Branch office unable to resolve DNS names

    Environment - MS Server 2003 AD Domain, XP computers at Branch office connected by VPN back to main office. T IP Traffic to the internet and internally is relatively stable, but the in-house application has been buggy, and dropping connections. Users report "slowness" DNS Name resolution might be the culprit or a symptom, I cannot ping workstations at the main office by name, but can ping their IP Address... Any ideas?

I know how to setup my app but How do i setup socat to at as a TCP proxy on part 1234 and use the sock5 server at 127.0.0.1:5678? It must forward all TCP connect.     Hey guys, I have 2 LANs in my own PC & 2 Routers (TP-Link WR941N each) with 2 internet accounts (512Kbps each) connected to the same ISP signal & company using NanoStation 5 from ubnt. As you know the connections work separately by default! (I use Windows 7 64bit) Can I merge them to get double speed (download/upload simultaneously) using regedit or special software or any other method?     I need to access the Selected Event of all the listobjects in all the worksheets of my workbook but when I access worksheet.listobject, that object apparently belongs to Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.ListObject and so doesn't have any events where as the table list object belongs to Microsoft.Office.Tools.Excel.ListObject. Problem is that there's no crossdomain or clientaccesspolicy that allows calls from my client at www.google.com/crossdomain.xml Question is: Will a call from a SL running out of browser, and in full trust still be classified as a crossdomain call? On reaching the Readiness Checks I'm getting an error on the 'Configuration Database' : [ Configuration Database ] TF255440: The following account has a SQL Server login, but the login was denied access: DOMAIN\User. The server selected to host the databases for Team Foundation Server is: MYSERVER. The SQL Server login associated with the user account must be granted access to the SQL Server instance on that server. I've tried changing user mappings and roles but so far no joy.

While under the same account everything is fine, but as soon as I use different accounts, I get an access denied error while trying to open the IPC port.
