• Server 2008 R2 Dns Lockup

  Hi, We've deployed our first 2008 R2 server on a client site which has replaced their existing 2003 DC. This server provides DNS resolution services to all client machines on that site for general internet usage. Since using the 2008 R2 DNS services we have noticed every couple of days the DNS server starts timing out when requests to certain sites are made (google is the only example I can provide at this time although it seems to be larger sites with problems rather than small - CDN compatiblity issue?). When you restart the DNS Server service then resolution returns to normal... just only for a day or so. Is anybody aware of any significant changes to the DNS server architecture or configuration out of the box in R2 that may explain this intermittent behaviour?   I'm trying to use the PHP CLI, and when I enter something like php test.php in the command line it returns: PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20090626/php_mysql.dll' - dlopen(/usr/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20090626/php_mysql.dll, 9): image not found in Unknown on line 0 something test.php contains: <?php echo 'something'; ?> I checked /usr/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20090626/, and as expected the .dll file isn't there. I'm a complete beginner when it comes to this - what is happening, and how can I fix it? A search of my system for "php_msyql.dll" reveals nothing. Does it have to do with how I compiled it? I don't have the original version of php that came with the mac, I think - I may have reinstalled it somewhere along the way. Any help would be appreciated!

• Cannot access certain URL on my wireless

  Problem: On my wireless network at home, there is one URL that I just cannot access with my browser: http://research.microsoft.com/ I have no problems with the Internet connection otherwise. But on that address I just get The connection was reset The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading. from Firefox. I am using a DSL modem (Westell) and Linksys wireless router (using DHCP). When I use my neighbor's wireless connection I can access the microsoft site without a problem. Additional technical details: But with my connection, here is what I get from nslookup. • Can't get port based virtual hosts working in Apache2.2 CentOS 5.2, Plesk 8.6

  I have installed Google Sitemap Generator on my CentOS server, which is running plesk 8.6. Google Sitemap Generator adds an include to an external conf in my httpd.conf as follows: Listen 8181 NameVirtualHost *:8181 <VirtualHost *:8181> DocumentRoot "/usr/local/google-sitemap-generator/admin-console" ScriptAlias /cgi-bin/ "/usr/local/google-sitemap-generator/admin-console/cgi-bin/" <Directory "/usr/local/google-sitemap-generator/admin-console"> Allow from all Options ExecCGI DirectoryIndex index.html </Directory> </VirtualHost> LoadModule google_sitemap_generator_module /usr/local/google-sitemap-generator/lib/mod_sitemap.so After installation I should be able to navigate to myserverip:8181 and access the GSG console. Unfortunately my browser throws up "Safari can’t open the page “http://myserverip:8181/” because the server where this page is located isn’t responding." I've checked the port with netstat and nmap, and it's open and listening. I've added a rule to allow traffic on 8181 in iptables, but no joy. Is there anything obvious I could be missing? • Why can't I route to some sites from my MacBook Pro that I can see from my iPad?

  I am on M1 Cable (residential) broadband in Singapore. I have an intermittent problem routing to some sites from my MacBook Pro—often Google-related sites (arduino.googlecode.com and ajax.googleapis.com right now, but sometimes even gmail.com.) This prevents StackExchange chat from working, for instance. Funny thing is, my iPad can route to those sites and they're on the same wireless network! I can ping the sites, but not traceroute to them which I find odd. That I can get through via the iPad implies the problem is with the MBP. In any case, calling M1 support is... not helpful. I get the same behaviour when I bypass the Airport Express entirely and plug the MBP directly into the cable modem. • Changing file extension associations

  What is the easiest way to permanently change association (program which opens etc.) for several file extensions at once? What I mean? Let's say you used TextEditorUncool up until now to open txt, dat, bat and abc files. Now you got TextEditorReallyCool and you wish if there was an application which on the left had a name of the program, and on the right a list of file extensions associated with it (which it, let's say, opens). Is there such a thing? Usually programs change this thing during installation (some even ask before), but in the case of portable programs one usually has to do it by hand, and for editors which open a gazillion of different file extensions, it gets tiresome really fast. All ideas welcomed !

  I am running a postfix mta with debian wheezy. I am using postfix-policyd-spf-python, openkdim and opendmarc. When receiving e-mails from google (google apps with own domain) for example, the header looks like this: [...] Authentication-Results: mail.xx.de; dkim=pass reason="1024-bit key; insecure key" header.d=yyy.com [email protected] header.b=OswLe0N+; dkim-adsp=pass; dkim-atps=neutral<br> [...] Authentication-Results: mail.xx.de; spf=pass (sender SPF authorized) smtp.mailfrom=yyy.com (client-ip=2a00:1450:400c:c00::242; helo=mail-wg0-x242.google.com; [email protected]; [email protected]) [...] Authentication-Results: mail.xx.de; dmarc=pass header.from=yyy.com<br> [...] This means any of these programs creates it's own Authentication-Results:-Line. Is it possible to tell postfix to merge this into one single Authentication-Results:-Line? When I send an e-mail to google, it says: [...] Authentication-Results: mx.google.com; spf=pass (google.com: domain of [email protected] designates xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx as permitted sender) [email protected]; dkim=pass [email protected]; dmarc=pass (p=NONE dis=NONE) header.from=xxx.com [...] And this is exactly what I want. • IPv6 works only after ping to routing box

  Situation: There is ipv4 only router in network and every computer is connected to it (wifi or cable). Server with ipv4 and ipv6 is connected to this router as well. Server has configured tunnelbrokers 6to4 tunnel and radvd. Clients in network has right prefix and can ping each other. But they can't ping to internet until they ping Server (the one with tunnel). I found somewhere that it's icmp problem, but I couldn't find solution. • Settings what-opens-what once and for all (Backing up File Associations)

  Every time I switch machines (as in, get a new one, or reinstall an OS or something like that) my precious file associations get lost. And the next six months pass slowly until I again set them up right. Is there a program that allows me to: Set all the extensions I would like to open with let's say, Vim, without setting each one of them individually. Something of a kind: Vim opens: .... list of extensions ... and/or A program which lets me backup my current settings, and when I copy those to a new machine it lets me just modify the paths where I putted the applications in question, and it does the rest (again, associates that program with all the extensions it opened before).

• android Emulator always stop at "waiting for Home..."

  hi,there, I freshed install Eclipse, jdk, android sdk 1.5 in winxp. but when I run the "hello world" app, the emulator always stop at "andorid" loading message. • OpenGL extension vs OpenGL core

  I was doubting: I'm writing a cross-platform engine OpenGL C++, I figured out windows forces the developers to access OpenGL features above 1.1 through extensions. Now the thing is, on Linux, I know that I can directly access functions if the version supports it through glext.h and opengl version. The problem is that if on Linux, the core doesn't support it, is it possible there is an extensions that supports the same functionality, in my case vertex buffer objects? I'm doing something like this: Windows: (hashdeck) define glFunction functionpointer_to_the_extension (apparently the layout changes font size if I use #) Linux: Since glext already defined glFunction, I can write in client code glFunction, and compile it both on Windows AND Linux without changing a single line in my client code using the engine (my goal). Now the thing is, I saw a tutorial use only the extension on Linux, and not checking for the opengl implementation version. If the functionality is available in the core, is it also available as extension (VBO's e.g.)? Or is an extension something you never know is available? I want to write an engine that gets all the possibilities on hardware, so I need to check (on Linux) for extensions as well as core version for possible functionality implementation.

• Ubuntu 12.04 OpenCL with Intel and Radeon?

  I want to setup my Ubuntu 12.04 with OpenCL(Open Computing Language) support for i7 2600k and Radeon HD5870. My Monitor is connected to the integrated Graphics of the i7. Intel OpenCL SDK is installed and working. Iteration of avaliable OpenCL devices shows 2 entries for Intel. As recommended I installed AMD APP SDK 2.6 first and then the fglrx driver. I installed fglrx from Ubuntu repositories. This works fine till here. When I run aticonfig --inital -f and restart the system I get into trouble.
