    I want to add a WHERE clause to a full text search query (to limit to past 24 hours), but wherever I insert it I get Low Level Error. Is it possible to add the clause and if so, how? Here is the code WITHOUT the where clause: $query = "SELECT *, MATCH (story_title) AGAINST ('$query' IN BOOLEAN MODE) AS Relevance FROM stories WHERE MATCH (story_title) AGAINST ('+$query' IN BOOLEAN MODE) HAVING Relevance > 0.2 ORDER BY Relevance DESC, story_time DESC;

I've done some googling and found templates for software design at high and low level. The problem is that all of the templates seem to be geared towards a complete system design as opposed to individual components and are consequently overkill.   • Could I ever want to access the address zero?

    The constant 0 is used as the null pointer in C and C++. But as in http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2389251/pointer-to-a-specific-fixed-address there seems to be some possible use of assigning fixed addresses. Is there ever any conceivable need, in any system, for whatever low level task, for accessing the address 0? If there is, how is that solved with 0 being the null pointer and all? If not, what makes it certain that there is not such a need?

  • Is two-finger non-homerow touch-typing for programming acceptable?

    I'm currently typing about 90 wpm (from http://speedtest.10-fast-fingers.com/ 90 correct 0 missed) using two fingers and the occasional ring or index. This probably grew from learning to type at an early age, before home-row was presented to me. Is this acceptable? Do people religiously endorse home-row even with low-mistake poking without looking at the keyboard?

  • crt0.o and crt1.o -- What's the difference?

    Hello, recently I've been trying to debug some low level work and I could not find the crt0.S for the compiler(avr-gcc) but I did find a crt1.S (and the same with the corresponding .o files) What is the difference between these two files? Is crt1 something completely different or what? They both seem to have to do with something for bootstrapping(setting up stack frame and such), but why the distinction?

    I have put together a Skin for OpenHome but have since ran across AHome code for their IPhone theme and was wondering that if I included for AHome their Dock_Bg or widget_drawer among other things which is not on OpenHome that the Launcher for the respective screen replacement would just call the items it uses.I want to keep the mb as low as I can but reach more handsets.I can just make seperate ones but see many that include even Freshface as well as OpenHome and AHome.

  • Completely Removing Views from memory

    I have a view which is set up to train 'voiceprints' of words (this voiceprint code is not mine), and another view which has a slideshow which is controlled by the voiceprint. Unfortunately, these views conflict because they are still in memory. As far as I know, viewDidUnload and dealloc are only called in low-memory situations, and dealloc should not be called directly, so how do I completely remove a view. These views are within uinavigationcontrollers by the way.

    hi, I have a sequence of couples of elements. (.div1, .div2) I'm using position:relative attribute on .div2 to move it a bit on top and right with respect to div1. However .div1 elements have different content and heights, so the relative positioning of .div2 is not consistent (they sometimes are too high, sometimes too low). .div2 { position:relative; left:200px; top:-300; } thanks

    I will probably start with C and then Lisp. Although I started programming in C, I did not program in it as much as I want. It's fun working with the low level stuff. Learning C helped me a lot when I started working. I've only started learning Lisp now and I found it amazing that the concepts it supported from the very start are still very relevant today. Well I think it's better late than never.

The server is S1 and the client is C1. section: aliases C1.wcu.edu: C1 end section: links S1: right = C1.wcu.edu C1.wcu.edu: left = S1 end When I start Synergy on both machines, the connection is made but I get the subject WARNING message on the server constantly. On the client, I get the three messages below. ERROR: server refused client with name "localhost.local" WARNING: failed to connect to server: server refused client with our name NOTE: connecting to 'S1.wcu.edu': XXX.XXX.XXX.73:24800 Any idea why I am getting these messages?     from what i can gather the mailbox bit of the web interface works fine.. when any of the users go to options (top right) and try to use some of the features such as the Organise Mail Delivery Reports to find messages etc... it comes up with a message ..
