• Recognizing text fields according to their label value

  I have an application who has text fields (not select, not checkbox or other types) where an user can enter some value, like this: ISBN and E-Mail are the label of each input. Now I have to automatically test these inputs according to their label. The question is: how to recognize that, for example, the first input requires an ISBN code? I programmed something like this: turn the label value to lowercase check if the label value contains isbn if so set the field value to a random ISBN code (i.e.: 1234567890), else set it to a random value (default) For the email field: turn the label value to lowercase check if the label value contains e-mail or email or mail if so set the field value to a random email (i.e.: [email protected]), else set it to a random value (default) And so on for each text field I encounter. Is that reliable? How can I improve the "recognizing part"? I know only the label value and the field value (what is already written in the field by default) for each text input.

• local wordpress installation not accessible from the outside world

  I have a working installation of wordpress located in /var/www/html/wordpress It is accessible in my local network at [local-machine-ip]/wordpress/ There is also a test page located in /var/www/html/test.html It is also accessible in my local network at [local-machine-ip] I would like the wordpress website to be accessible from the outside world. I know that my ISP blocks incoming requests on port 80, so I set my router to redirect requests from port 8080 to 80. • Drive still usable if Seatools reports errors?

  I have a Seagate 3TB Expansion Desktop drive that was part of a Linux RAID 6 array that failed. I eventually did a zero fill both through Seagate DiscWizard and via Linux dd, neither reported errors. When I ran Seatools now, I got: Short DST - Started 5/31/2014 10:04:36 PM Short DST - Pass 5/31/2014 10:05:37 PM Long Generic - Started 5/31/2014 10:15:19 PM Bad LBA: 518242762 Not Repaired (whole bunch of bad LBAs ommited) Bad LBA: 518715255 Not Repaired Long Generic Aborted 6/1/2014 3:12:18 AM i.e. the short test passed, the long test failed. Unfortunately, the drive is out of warranty, so I can't just RMA it. But I hate tossing a drive that can still be used. So, my questions are: If the zero fill succeeded, and the short test passed, can I still use the whole drive? if not, since I'm using LVM on top of RAID, is there a way to tell either of these to just skip the bad area? If not the above, can I just create partitions before and after the part of the drive with the bad LBAs?

As background, I have created a set of styles for a long agreement form and assigned them to levels in a certain custom multilevel list. I then also saved those styles as a quick style set called Long Agreement. I have saved those styles in my normal template. That all works fine for assigning styles to a Long Agreement. What I'd like to do next is create a second style set called Short Agreement. I will assign certain styles to that style set. The issue is that I don't see how to tie a different custom multilevel list to those Short Agreement styles. When I click on Change Styles, Short Agreement [style set], and I apply those styles, how can I get it to automatically use the multilevel list that I assign to short agreements?

  I have a suspicion that the onboard IDE controllers may not be working. Every disk I use to setup this machine reports as damaged (using a win xp installation to test, since it gets to partition setup fastest) So, I popped an IDE PCI Controller card in, to test with, but no drives are showing up in the bios now. I went into setup and changed the BIOS settings to disable onboard IDE1 and 2 to test, but still didn't detect the drives. How do I get that working? It's a standard PC with a 160GB disk and DVD Drive on master and slave channels on a single cable, if that helps. Let me know what else I need to state.

Is it a bug? This was on a clean Ubuntu 10.10 installation.

  I have a the folder c:\test\ and two files in it a.txt and b.txtv. I would like to process just the files with extension equal to .txt. If I write this commands cd c:\test for %f in (*.txt) do echo %f I will get the result where both a.txt and b.txtv are listed. The same happens with cd c:\test dir *.txt It seems .txt is the same of .txtv. I have Windows XP SP3 in Italian and the result of ver is Microsoft Windows XP [Versione 5.1.2600]. The same result is from Windows 7 in English Microsoft Windows XP [Version 6.1.7601].

  My 1TB USB 3.0 was working fine earlier in Ubuntu as well as Windows. But lately it is not at all being detected in Ubuntu. It still works fine in Windows. I want to count the number of times that the string Rerun is found within a certain date range. • Postfix + LDAP + Recipient Delimiter

  I'm trying to get my Postfix and LDAP-backend to accept recipent delimiters (aka address extensions). The rest of the mail system is working fine, but when an email is received with an extension (e.g. [email protected]), it tries to look up "coops+test" against the LDAP service and fails. Obviously this is wrong, and it should strip out the "+test" part. In my postfix config the string being passed to the LDAP service is "%s", per an example line below: accounts_query_filter = (&(objectClass=MailAccount)(mail=%s)(accountActive=TRUE)(delete=FALSE)) Is there a postfix variable which represents the email account minus the extension? I've found a similar post here, but no actual solution.

  I'm testing out using LINQ with NHibernate but have run into some problems with resolving string.length. Then I want to do the same thing in LINQ, and it throws the following error: NHibernate.QueryException: could not resolve property: Url.Length of: DC_Control I've searched alot for this "could not resolve property" error, but I can't quite figure out, what this means. Is this because the LINQ implementation is not complete? If so it's a bit disappointing coming from Linq2Sql where this would just work. I also tried it setting up the mapping with a hbm.xml instead of using FluentNHibernate but it produced teh same error.

• Issue allowing custom Xml Serialization/Deserialization on certain types of field

  I've been working with Xml Serialization/Deserialization in .net and wanted a method where the serialization/deserialization process would only be applied to certain parts of an Xml fragment. This is so I can keep certain parts of the fragment in Xml after the deserialization process. To do this I thought it would be best to create a new class (XmlLiteral) that implemented IXmlSerializable and then wrote specific code for handling the IXmlSerializable.ReadXml and IXmlSerializable.WriteXml methods. In my example below this works for Serializing, however during the Deserialization process it fails to run for multiple uses of my XmlLiteral class. In my example below sTest1 gets populated correctly, but sTest2 and sTest3 are empty. I'm guessing I must be going wrong with the following lines but can't figure out why.. Any ideas at all? • CUDA: Memory copy to GPU 1 is slower in multi-GPU

  My company has a setup of two GTX 295, so a total of 4 GPUs in a server, and we have several servers. This is consistent between all our servers, it is always GPU1 that is slow. Any ideas why this may be? All servers are running windows XP.

  Hi, I have an RMI client/server set-up on two machines that works fine in a simple situation when the server doesn't require a client-side defned class. However, when I need to use a class defined on the client side I am unable to have the server unmarshall those classes. I suspect this is an issue with my java.rmi.server.codebase property that I pass in as argument to the client app. I followed Sun's RMI Tutorial trail and I think I have followed the steps exactly except that I don't specify a classpath argument when executing client and server because they execute in the directory right above the root package directory (however I tried that too with no effect). Other notes: 1 my server and client policy files correctly specify the path, as I've tested this setup with good and bad paths, and getting a security exception for bad path 2 this setup works if I don't use client-side defined objects, the client connects correctly to the server and the server executes. 3 when I place the client-side class on the server in the server's classpath, all executes fine. • How to read registry correctly for multiple values in c?

  Hi! I created a .dll which should work like the RunAs command. The only difference is, that it should read from registry. My problem is, that i need to reed 3 values from the registry, but i can't. It reads the first, than it fails at the second one (Password) with error code 2, which means "The system cannot find the file specified". If i query only for domain and username then it is ok, if i query only for password then it it still succeeds, but if i want to query all three then it fails. Can someone tell me, what i am doing wrong?
