• 500 error using lighttpd, fastcgi and PHP on file upload

  I have a server running lighttpd with fastcgi, and it appears to be working correctly. However when I try to upload a file using a form, I get a 500 Internal server error, along with the following in the logs: 2012-03-23 18:25:09: (mod_fastcgi.c.2566) unexpected end-of-file (perhaps the fastcgi process died): pid: 2755 socket: unix:/tmp/php-fastcgi-1.socket-0 2012-03-23 18:25:09: (mod_fastcgi.c.3354) response not received, request sent: 50437 on socket: unix:/tmp/php-fastcgi-1.socket-0 for /index.php?url=brand/manager, closing connection I've been looking around for a long while now trying to find a solution to the issue, but nothing I'm trying is working. My current fastcgi conf looks as follows: server.modules += ( "mod_fastcgi" ) fastcgi.server = ( ".php" => (( "socket" => "/tmp/php-fastcgi-1.socket", "bin-path" => "/usr/bin/php-cgi", "allow-x-send-file" => "enable", "max-procs" => 1, "broken-scriptfilename" => "enable" )) ) If anyone could suggest if there is anything wrong in the configuration it would be greatly appreciated, or any suggestion as to what I might do?   I am trying to populate a dropdown list from a database mapped with Linq 2 SQL, using ASP.NET MVC 2, and keep getting this error. I am so confused because I am declaring a variable with the type IEnumerable<SelectListItem> on the second line, but the error makes me think this is not the case. I feel like this should be very simple, but I am struggling. Any help is appreciated.   Hi, I'm trying to create a GUI (WPF) Library where each (custom) control basically wraps an internal (third party) control. Then, I'm manually exposing each property (not all of them, but almost).   Ok the thing is that I am using asp.net mvc with linq to sql. I have a scenario where there are two tables group and features with many to many relationship with the third table groupfeatures. I have drag and drop all three table in the dbml file.   I am working through the SDL tutorials over at http://lazyfoo.net/SDL_tutorials/index.php and I'm stuck on tutorial 8 where I'm working with key presses. • Loading JSON-encoded AJAX content into jQuery UI tabs

  We want our of our AJAX calls in our web app to receive JSON-encoded content. In most places this is already done (e.g. in modals) and works fine. However, when using jQueryUI's tabs (http://jqueryui.com/demos/tabs/) and their ajax functionality, only plaintext HTML can be returned (i.e. from the URLs specified in the a tags below).   I've written an RSS feed parser in Java (running on Android) and it parses some feeds perfectly, and others not at all. • Django forms, inheritance and order of form fields

  I'm using Django forms in my website and would like to control the order of the fields. Here's how I define my forms: class edit_form(forms.Form): summary = forms.CharField() description = forms.CharField(widget=forms.TextArea) class create_form(edit_form): name = forms.CharField() The name is immutable and should only be listed when the entity is created. I use inheritance to add consistency and DRY principles. What happens which is not erroneous, in fact totally expected, is that the name field is listed last in the view/html but I'd like the name field to be on top of summary and description. I do realize that I could easily fix it by copying summary and description into create_form and loose the inheritance but I'd like to know if this is possible. Why? Imagine you've got 100 fields in edit_form and have to add 10 fields on the top in create_form - copying and maintaining the two forms wouldn't look so sexy then. (This is not my case, I'm just making up an example) So, how can I override this behavior? Edit: Apparently there's no proper way to do this without going through nasty hacks (fiddling with .field attribute). The .field attribute is a SortedDict (one of Django's internal datastructures) which doesn't provide any way to reorder key:value pairs. It does how-ever provide a way to insert items at a given index but that would move the items from the class members and into the constructor. This method would work, but make the code less readable. The only other way I see fit is to modify the framework itself which is less-than-optimal in most situations. In short the code would become something like this: class edit_form(forms.Form): summary = forms.CharField() description = forms.CharField(widget=forms.TextArea) class create_form(edit_form): def __init__(self,*args,**kwargs): forms.Form.__init__(self,*args,**kwargs) self.fields.insert(0,'name',forms.CharField()) That shut me up :)

  Hey there. I have been trying to figure out how to configure the mapping with both NH and FluentNH for days, and I think I'm almost there, but not quite. I have the following problem. What I need to do is basically map these two entities, which are simplified versions of the actual ones. Airlines varchar2(3) airlineCode //PK varchar2(50) Aircraft varchar2(3) aircraftCode //composite PK varchar2(3) airlineCode //composite PK, FK referencing PK in Airlines varchar2(50) aircraftName My classes look like class Airline { string AirlineCode; string AirlineName; IList<Aircraft> Fleet; } class Aircraft { Airline Airline; string AircraftCode; string AircraftName; } Using FluentNH, I mapped it like so AirlineMap Table("Airlines"); Id(x => x.AirlineCode); Map(x => x.AirlineName); HasMany<Aircraft>(x => x.Fleet) .KeyColumn("Airline"); AircraftMap Table("Aircraft"); CompositeId() .KeyProperty(x => x.AircraftCode) .KeyReference(x => x.Airline); Map(x => x.AircraftName); References(x => x.Airline) .Column("Airline"); Using Nunit, I'm testing the addition of another aircraft, but upon calling transaction.Commit after session.Save(aircraft), I get an exception: "System.IndexOutOfRangeException : Invalid index 22 for this OracleParameterCollection with Count=22." The Aircraft class (and the table) has 22 properties. Anyone have any ideas?

Is there a JSP validation tool that I can use, perhaps online?   lanchpad.net states that for project Emle - Electronic Mathematics Laboratory Equipment 2.0 series is the current focus of development This is what I have done so far: Set the launchpad.net project to import from the sourceforge.net project Emle (this actually set the launchpad.net project to mirror the sourceforge.net project rather than just inport the content once) Examined the launchpad.net project to see that the three commits (#1 - #3) which were done in the sourceorge.net project previousley made it into launchpad.net. Used bzrto get the launchpad.net project which I did while is was still set for mirroring. Made three changes and commits using bzr (#4 - #6). Was unable to see the changes on the launchpad.net site. Requested the mirroring to be stopped (it did).   This is the part of a string "21xy5". I want to insert " * " surrounded with whitespace between: digit and letter, letter and digit, letter and letter. I use this regex pattern "\d[a-z]|[a-z]\d|[a-z][a-z]" to find indexs where I gona insert string " * ". Problem is that when regex OR(|) in string 21xy5 trays to match 21-x|x-y|y-5, when first condition 21-x success, second x-y is not checked, and third success. So I have 21 * xy * 5 instead 21 * x * y * 5. If input string is like this xy21, then x-y success and then I have x * y21. Problem is that logical OR is not greedy. • Best way to change jqGrid rowNum from ALL to -1 before pass to a web service

  I'm looking to find the best way to allow users to choose to show ALL records in a jqGrid. I know that a -1 value passed for the rows parameter denotes ALL, but I want the word "ALL" not a -1 to appear in the rowList select element, ie. rowList: [15, 50, 100, 'ALL']. I'm passing the grid request to a web service which accepts an int for "rows", and I'm trying find how and when I should change the user selected value of "ALL" to a -1 before it gets sent to the web service. But most attempts just seemed like I have to be doing this the most convoluted way I possibly could. • How to know $(window).load(); status from jquery

  I have created a website loading bar using Jquery UI Progress bar, this progress bar shows the status of scripts loading. A sample is $.getScript('_int/ajax.js',function() { $("#progressinfo").html("Loading Complete ..."); $("#progressbar").progressbar({ value: 100 }); }); This progress bar is in #indexloader which is blocking the website being loaded behind, its CSS is #indexloader { z-index:100; position:fixed; top:0; left:0; background:#FFF; width:100%;height:100%; } After the progress bar reaches 100% I want to hide and remove #indexloader for that I used $("#indexloader").fadeOut("slow",function() { $("#indexloader").remove(); }); But the problem is, although the scripts have loaded, the pages are not fully loaded, I see images and other things still loading. So before fading and removing the #indexloader i want to check whether the $(window).load() has completed or not Is there a way to check this? Thanks in advance

  I am trying to test the Cybersource 3d party implementation.   Hello, all. I need to migrate data from a Plone-based portal to Liferay. Has anyone some idea on how to do it? Anyway, I am trying to retrieve data from Data.fs and store it in a representation easier to work, such as JSON. To do it, I need to know which objects I should get from Plone's Data.fs. I already got the Products.CMFPlone.Portal.PloneSite instance from the Data.fs, but I cannot get anything from it. • How do I make a jQuery POST function open the new page?

  I know that a submit button in HTML can submit a form which opens the target page, but how do I cause a jQuery ajax call POST information to a new page and display the new page. I am submitting information that is gathered by clicking elements (which toggle a new class) and then all items with this new class are added to an array and POSTed to a new page. • Authlogic and password and password confirmation attributes - inaccessible?

  Im trying to test my successfully creates a new user after login (using authlogic). Ive added a couple of new fields to the user so just want to make sure that the user is saved properly. The problem is despite creating a valid user factory, whenever i try to grab its attributes to post to the create method, password and password confirmation are being ommitted. I presuem this is a security method that authlogic performs in the background. This results in validations failing and the test failing. Im wondering how do i get round this problem? • htaccess mod_rewrite check file/directory existence, else rewrite?

  I have a very heavy htaccess mod_rewrite file that runs my application. As we sometimes take over legacy websites, I sometimes need to support old urls to old files, where my application processes everything post htaccess. My ultimate goal is to have a 'Demilitarized Zone' for old file structures, and use mod rewrite to check for existence there before pushing to the application. This is pretty easy to do with files, by using: RewriteCond %{IS_SUBREQ} true RewriteRule .* - [L] RewriteCond %{ENV:REDIRECT_STATUS} 200 RewriteRule .* - [L] RewriteCond Public/DMZ/$1 -F [OR] RewriteRule ^(.*)$ Public/DMZ/$1 [QSA,L] This allows pseudo support for relative urls by not hardcoding my base path (I cant assume I will ever be deployed in document root) anywhere and using subrequests to check for file existence. Works fine if you know the file name, ie http://domain.com/path/to/app/legacyfolder/index.html However, my legacy urls are typically http://domain.com/path/to/app/legacyfolder/ Mod_Rewrite will allow me to check for this by using -d, but it needs the complete path to the directory, ie RewriteCond Public/DMZ/$1 -F [OR] RewriteCond /var/www/path/to/app/Public/DMZ/$1 -d RewriteRule ^(.*)$ Public/DMZ/$1 [QSA,L] I want to avoid the hardcoded base path. I can see one possible solutions here, somehow determining my path and attaching it to a variable [E=name:var] and using it in the condition. Another option is using -U, but the tricky part is stopping it from hijacking every other request when they should flow through, since -U is really easy to satisfy. Any implementation that allows me to existence check a directory is more than welcome. I am not interested in using RewriteBase, as that requires my htaccess to have a hardcoded base path.

• identation control while developing a small python like language

  Hello, Im developing a small python like language using flex, byacc (for lexical and parsing) and C++, but i have a few questions regarding scope control. just as python it uses white spaces (or tabs) for identation, not only that but i want to implement index breaking like for instance if you type "break 2" inside a while loop thats inside another while loop it would not only break from the last one but from the first loop as well (hence the number 2 after break) and so on. example: while 1 while 1 break 2 end end #after break 2 it would jump right here but since i dont have an "anti" tab character to check when a scope ends (like C for example i would just use the '}' char) i was wondering if this method would the the best: i would define a global variable, like "int tabIndex" on my yacc file that i would access in my lex file using extern. then everytime i find a tab character on my lex file i would increment that variable by 1. when parsing on my yacc file if i find a "break" keyword i would decrement by the amount typed after it from the tabIndex variable, and when i reach and EOF after compiling and i get a tabIndex != 0 i would output compilation error. now the problem is, whats the best way to see if the identation got reduced, should i read \b (backspace) chars from lex and then reduce the tabIndex variable (when the user doesnt use break)? another method to achieve this? also just another small question, i want every executable to have its starting point on the function called start() should i hardcode this onto my yacc file? sorry for the long question any help is greatly appretiated. also if someone can provide an yacc file for python would be nice as a guideline (tried looking on google and had no luck). thanks in advance.
