• How do you get Eclipse/Mylyn to fill out your commit messages for you?

  I've setup the following: Installed Mylyn in Eclipse Installed the Bugzilla connector Installed Subversive SVN Integration for the Mylyn Project I've gone to Windows - Preferences - Tasks - Team and clicked Change Set Management and left it with the default Commit Comment Template: ${task.status} - ${connector.task.prefix} ${task.key}: ${task.description} ${task.url} However, if I activate a bugzilla bug in the Task List, and then edit a file, when I commit the changes the commit message isn't filled in. Also, in the Synchronisation perspective there isn't a change set for the task I'm working on. I've tried following the instructions on the Eclipse wiki's Mylyn FAQ for Why does task change set not appear when I modify files? but the bullet point: * Verify that the configured Synchronize View is configured for change sets. points to a section that is no longer in the document. I have a Show Change Sets button, but clicking it only shows me incoming change sets, there aren't any outgoing change sets. What am I missing?

  I am using Google Calendar as a storage engine for a calendar system I am building, however, I am using a single Google user account with multiple calendars, i.e. each user on my system has their own calendar within the one user account. I'm able to create a calendar per user just fine, but I would like to have FullCalendar retrieve the events for display purposes, without manually getting the magic cookie url from Google Calendar settings. • Avoiding cookies while requesting static content

  I just did an audit of one of my web application page (built using ASP.Net and running on development server) using Google chrome's developer tool. One particular warning caught my eyes: Serve static content from a cookieless domain (5)! Here is my screen shot (http://yfrog.com/7eauditresultp) as well. I would like to know is it possible to avoid cookies for these kind of requests. I see that there is no cookie requests for javascript files as well. I it possible to avoid cookies in the header for these files as well? and why didn't the browser attach cookies for javascript files and attach for CSS and image? Any thoughts and suggestions are welcome

  Lets simplify. Lets say I have this class: class T { public string Name { get; set; } public int Age { get; set; } public int height{ get; set; } ... } and I have a DataGridView's DataSource bound to a BindingList <T>, with N columns, each one bound to each property. I need to: Allow the user to enter non validating ages, heights, etc (for instance "aaa") Color the cells with non validating values (red background) Retain the non validating values displayed until the form is closed (I don't want to lose the values entered until the form is closed, so the user has the option to correct the bad cells anytime he wants BEFORE closing the form) Keep the last correct values entered for each cell with non validating values entered. When the form is closed, ditch the non validating values and keep the last correct values entered. Is there any easy way to do this?

  Hello I have an extended stored procedure that sends an error message. srv_sendmsg(pSrvProc, SRV_MSG_ERROR, errorNum, SRV_FATAL_SERVER, 1, NULL, 0, (DBUSMALLINT) __LINE__, buff, SRV_NULLTERM); I've set the severity to SVR_FATAL_SERVER just as a test to see if I can cause the message to throw an exception in the sql. In my SQL i'm doing: BEGIN TRY EXEC dbo.xp_somethingCool SET @Error = @@ERROR END TRY BEGIN CATCH PRINT 'AN Error occoured!' SELECT ERROR_NUMBER() AS ErrorNumber ,ERROR_MESSAGE() AS ErrorMessage; END CATCH I would think that when my xp sends the error message the tsql would catch the error and select the error_number and error_message. Instead what ends up happening is that the xp sends the message and the T-SQL continues on its way like nothing happened. The @@Error variable doesn't get set either. So I was wondering if there was any trick to getting SQL to catch an error from an XP ? Thanks, Raul

Commit locally until I'm happy with my code Make branches locally Have one master branch that is the one that should be pushed to the server Update the website using a single command (git push origin master) If I set up a git repo locally using git init, and then push to a folder on the server, it doesn't work. When I FTP to the server to check the files, they're actually there. When I SSH into the server and do git status, it's not clean, even though it should be since I just pushed to the server. Steps I'm doing: Make a new folder on my computer (mkdir folder_x) Go into that folder (cd folder_x) Set up a new git repository there (git init) (git repository sets up successfully) Push the repository to the server using git push origin master (where origin is set up as user:[email protected])

  I have a set of three values, call them x, y, and z. If value A happens to match only one in the set x, y, and z, then that means we have a proper match and we stop searching for a match, even if it is at y. It can match any one in that set. These values x, y, and z are non-constant so I cannot use a switch-case statement. How do I do this with an if-elseif-else statements without having to use GOTO. I am using C++ (no boost or any of that other fancy stuff). Now, I am trying to do this in code and it is racking my brain this morning (not enough coffee?)

  The error is: Exception occurred while reading or writing file {0}The Axis2 facets cannot be installed since the Axis2 runtime location has not been set. Go to the Web Services preference page and set the Axis2 runtime location under Axis2 Preferences. In the preferences mentioned, the location is set correctly and in fact, it says "Axis2 runtime loaded successfully" after loadign the correct runtime location. So what's going on? Any solutions other than re-installing eclipse or creating a new workspace? I am using Axis2 1.4.1 and eclipse.

(i'm fine specifying # of clusters/cluster size/distance in advance to simplify) There are a few solutions on the web to do clustering, so it's a well known problem. I thought that GeoDjango would handle these types of problems out of the box, but it's not clear how - I've searched the GeoDjango documentation, Google, and a few other places, but couldn't find anything. Before I roll my own clustering solution, I thought I'd ask to see if there's a straightforward way to do this using GEOS or another package within GeoDjango.

Looking at the User Agent is not something that is successful for anything but friendly bots, as you can specify any user agent you want in a bot. I'm after behaviors of unfriendly bots. Various ideas I've had so far are: If you don't have a browser ID If you don't have a session ID Unable to write a cookie Obviously, there are some cases where a legitimate user will look like a bot, but that's ok.   I was thinking about this and it appears POST only a little less vulnerable and somewhat harder (do to requiring the user to click something). But really, is there a problem with that? short of having the user copy/pasting the html is there any attacks that can happen due to the session id being in plain view in html?

I have marked the webservice methods with [WebMethod(EnableSession = true)] but I am not able to share the same session values that are on the application in the webservices.   Hi all, I'm using the webwork framework (JIRA plugin development) and was wondering about the lifecycle of the variables in the action class. I have a few private variables in the action class that are set when during the doDefault() method. These are used in the input view to set up jqGrid columns and then when the user has entered some data they click submit which puts the grid data into a hidden input. The next thing that happens is the doValidation() method is called before the doExecute(), which displays the input view if there are any errors. The problem is that the variables set up in the doDefault() method are now null. Can anyone explain to me how the lifecycle of variables works in the webwork actions? Cheers

  I'm using LINQ to Entities and display paged results. But I'm having issues with the combination of Skip(), Take() and OrderBy() calls. Everything works fine, except that OrderBy() is assigned too late. It's executed after result set has been cut down by Skip() and Take(). So each page of results has items in order. But ordering is done on a page handful of data instead of ordering of the whole set and then limiting those records with Skip() and Take(). How do I set precedence with these statements? To set simple html contents within web view I used this code and it is working fine: [[myWebView mainFrame] loadHTMLString:webViewContents baseURL:baseURLFramed]; Right now, if content is more than its actual size then it appears in web view showing both vertical and horizontal scroller in it.   I am writing a client for a server that typically sends data as strings in 500 or less bytes. However, the data will occasionally exceed that, and a single set of data could contain 200,000 bytes, for all the client knows (on initialization or significant events). However, I would like to not have to have each client running with a 50 MB socket buffer (if it's even possible). Each set of data is delimited by a null \0 character. What kind of structure should I look at for storing partially sent data sets? For example, the server may send ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUV\0WXYZ\0123!\0. I would want to process ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUV, WXYZ, and 123! independently. Also, the server could send ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ1234567890LOL123HAHATHISISREALLYLONG without the terminating character. I would want that data set stored somewhere for later appending and processing. Also, I'm using asynchronous socket methods (BeginSend, EndSend, BeginReceive, EndReceive) if that matters.

• Why is this leaking memory? UIImage `cellForRowAtIndexPath:`

  Hey. Instruments' Leaks tells me that this UIImage is leaking: UIImage *image = [[UIImage alloc] initWithContentsOfFile:[imagesPath stringByAppendingPathComponent:[NSString stringWithFormat:@"/%@.png", [postsArrayID objectAtIndex:indexPath.row]]]]; // If image contains anything, set cellImage to image. If image is empty, try one more time or use noImage.png, set in IB if (image != nil){ // If image != nil, set cellImage to that image cell.cellImage.image = image; } image = nil; [image release]; (class cell (custom table view cell) also releases cellImage in dealloc method). I haven't got a clue of why it's leaking, but it certainly is. The images gets loaded multiple times in a cellForRowAtIndexPath:-method. The first three cells' image does not leak (130px high, all the space avaliable). Leaks gives me no other info than that a UIImage allocated here in the code leaks. Can you help me figure it out? Thanks :)
