  I would like some help with this code, I have read similar questions & answers here on stackoverflow but I still can't get it right. I have a link that populated by .html("") to read more… when clicked it opens the hidden div and at the end the .html("") reads less.   I need to dynamically bind properties of components created at runtime. In this particular case please assume I need to use bindProperty. I don't quite understand why the following simplistic test is failing (see code). When I click the button, the label text does not change. I realize that there are simpler ways to go about this particular example using traditional non-dynamic binding, but I need to understand it in terms of using bindProperty. • jQuery - Wait until image loads before performing function

  I'm trying to create a simple portfolio page. I have a list of thumbs and an image. When you click on a thumb, the image will change. When a thumbnail is clicked, I'd like to have the image fade out, wait until the image is loaded, then fade back in. The problem I have right now is that some of the images are pretty big, so it fades out, then fades back in immediately, sometimes while the image is still loading. I'd like to avoid using setTimeout, since sometimes an image will load faster or slower than the time I set. I echo the names but i want the ID for reference so when i click on the echoed name i can call an other php function with parameter the ID of the name... How do i get rid of the switch statement?? How do i call properly php functions and pass params to it??? How can i save this IDs so when i click on an item with that id an other php function is called??   I have a BlackBerry app that is built for 4.5.x SDK. The first page of the app shows a list of fields and each field can be highlighted and clicked. The click action shows a new view with additional information about the field. This all works fine in 4.5, 4.6 and 4.7 and on the sim with 5.0. On a real 9000 running 5.0, when clicking the trackball on an item in the list, the full menu is showing rather than the click event getting consumed (or even fired) for the field. In IE, if I start a video and (without slicking pause or stop) click on the thumbnail for the next video, the audio continues playing. In other words, the audio for both videos plays at once.
