  • Using HTML/CSS for UI in XNA?

    Is there any way to use HTML/CSS to do the user interface for a XNA game? I would need to programmatically be able to update the HTML, as well as handle events.     I am building an installer for my windows app and have done this through a setup/installer project in visual studio. I was wondering how to customize he UI of the finish dialog box? I want to add a couple of check-boxes and launch an app after the user closes the finish box. Is there a way to do this in Visual studio itself or does it require any other tools?     This is not a question about jQuery, but about how jQuery implements such a behaviour. In jQuery you can do this: $('#some_link_id').click(function() { alert(this.tagName); //displays 'A' }) could someone explain in general terms (no need you to write code) how do they obtain to pass the event's caller html elments (a link in this specific example) into the this keyword? I obviously tried to look 1st in jQuery code, but I could not understand one line. Thanks!

Apart from unit tests, it allows to do UI interaction tests, typically using AutomationPeer subclasses (eg ButtonAutomationPeer to interact with a Button). Are there AutomationPeer classes to test the interaction with the following: OpenFileDialog SaveFileDialog MessageBox In unit tests it would be possible to stub these, but for integration and browser testing it would be great to have this testable.

  • Duplicate System.Web.UI.AsyncPostBackTrigger Controls keep getting inserted automatically, causing P

    I have an update panel with a number of [asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger...] controls, and everything was working fine. But now, something keeps inserting duplicate AsyncTriggers, and instead of simply being [asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger...] controls they're [System.Web.UI.AsyncPostBackTrigger...] controls, and I get parser errors as a result. So I delete the duplicate triggers, and they get re-inserted within a few minutes, seemingly randomly. Anyone know whats going on here?

    I have seen yahoo ui using div for every node of the tree. Is this a good thing to do. Seems like every node including leaf node is heavily nested. I saw a div, table, tr, td being used for creating a node. Is this necessary. Is there a better way to do the same. I tried to us tr for every node. Are there any issues with this approach Thanks

    I have quite a few of these in Apache logs piling up every day: [Mon Jun 09 20:42:58 2014] [error] [client 180.153.214.181] File does not exist: /home/user/public_html/ajax.googleapis.com, referer: http://www.mysite.com//ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.11.1/jquery.min.js I have over 200k visitors per day but a few of them like a dozen or so are generating the above error. I can't figure out what may be causing it. Checked the html code and it's all good so I ran out of ideas.

    I am writing a class that will convert a HTML document to a list of Paragrpahs that can be used with RichTextBlock in Windows 8 apps. I want to be able to give the class a list of Styles defined in XAML and the class will read useful properties from the style and apply them. If I have a Windows.UI.XAML.Style style how do I read a property from it? I tried var fontWeight = style.GetValue(TextElement.FontWeightProperty) for a style defined in XAML with TargetProperty="TextBlock" but this fails with and exception

  • My app does not seem to find my button from the UI file

    What i did: create a project, edited the ui file with the designer tool, ran the project, everything is ok tried to add to my cppfile: connect( pushButton_bracketBegin, SIGNAL( clicked() ), this, SLOT( pushButton_bracketBeginAction() ) ); but i get the error "‘pushButton_bracketBegin’ was not declared in this scope". this is my first project in qt and it should be fairly simple i guess (but yet out of my grasp ) :) appreciate the help
