  • MVVM/WPF: DataTemplate is not changed in Wizard

    Hello, I wonder why my contentcontrol(headeredcontentcontrol) does not change the datatemplates when I press the previous/next button. While debugging everything seems ok means I jump forth and back the collection of wizardpages but always the first page is shown and its header text not the usercontrol is visible.     I finally got Silverlight 4 Toolkit installed , referenced and working after the difficulty of finding the right namespace described in this question. But intellisense doesn't work fully: after I type "tk:", it doesn't pop up the various controls I have available, but if I type a control name out, e.g. DockPanel, then it works, as shown below. It will even give me intellisense after I type tk:DropPanel, which is odd. How can I get intellisense to work in all cases for the Silverlight 4 Toolkit?

How would I write a method which takes a MessageBoxImage type, and return a CustomMessageBoxImage type which maps to the MessageBoxImage type, as I can't include both MessageBoxImage.Error and MessageBoxImage.Hand in the same switch statement?

  • Connecting to a WSE 3.0 Web Service From a WCF Client

    I'm having difficulty connecting to a 3rd party WSE 3.0 web service from a WCF client. I have implemented the custom binding class as indicated in this KB article: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms734745.aspx The problem seems to have to do with the security assertion used by the web service - UsernameOverTransport. When I attempt to call a method, I get the following exception: System.InvalidOperationException: The 'WseHttpBinding'.'[namespace]' binding for the 'MyWebServiceSoap'.'[namespace]' contract is configured with an authentication mode that requires transport level integrity and confidentiality. However the transport cannot provide integrity and confidentiality.. It is expecting a username, password, and CN number. In the example code supplied to us by the vendor, these credentials are bundled in a Microsoft.Web.Services3.Security.Tokens.UsernameToken. Here's the example supplied by the vendor: MyWebServiceWse proxy = new MyWebServiceWse(); UsernameToken token = new UsernameToken("Username", "password", PasswordOption.SendPlainText); token.Id = "<supplied CN Number>"; proxy.SetClientCredential(token); proxy.SetPolicy(new Policy(new UsernameOverTransportAssertion(), new RequireActionHeaderAssertion())); MyObject mo = proxy.MyMethod(); This works fine from a 2.0 app w/ WSE 3.0 installed. Some of the source folders are quite large, and the program doesn't crash for about 40 minutes after it starts.     I used this side to create my demo application http://windowsclient.net/learn/video.aspx?v=314683 The site was very useful in getting my started and in their example, they created a file called EmployeeRepository.cs which appears to be the source for the data. In their example, the data was hard-wired in code. So I'm trying to learn how to get the data from a data source (like a DB). In my specific case, I want to get the data from a Microsoft Access DB.
