• visual studio qt5 plugins not working on release

  I'm got this project where i'm showing images with a qt5 interface, i'm simply setting the Pixmap of a label with the qimage pixmap The thing is, it's working on a debug build, but not on a release build and i dont understand why. I already got a folder in my .Exe folder named "plugins" and a subfolder in it named "imageformats", and in this folder the file named "qjpeg.dll" So i coming here to see if someone has an idea on why it doesn't work ? • Why is my custom view not appearing?

  When I comment out setContentView(boardView); in my Game.java my custom view in BoardView works fine and displays everything nicely... but onSizeChanged never gets called in BoardView.java... so I can't read the device width and height at runtime. If I leave setContentView uncommented onSizeChanged works... but the screen is blank! • Wordpress upload from localhost to server

  I uploaded my wordpress site from my Local host to a folder off my main domain (http://example.com/folder) using this tutorial http://www.webdesignerwall.com/tutorials/exporting-and-importing-wordpress/ (im working on a mac) Everything went ok - admin panel is fine homepage is fine etc - only any page apart from the homepage redirects to this (http://example.com/folder/pagename) except instead of showing the content from that page it shows the unstyled information from the index page of my main root (http://example.com/) What can I do to get this working?   Hi I am trying to make a function that scans a folder for subfolders and then returns a numeric array with the names of those folders. This is the code i use for testing. Once i get it to print out the folder names and not just "." and ".." for present and above folder all will be well, and I can finish the function. <?php function super_l_getthemes($dir="themes") { if ($handle = opendir($dir)) { echo "Handle: {$handle}\n"; echo "Files:\n"; while (false !== ($file = readdir($handle))) { echo "{$file}<br>"; } closedir($handle); } ?> The above code works fine, and prints out all the contents of the folder: files, subfolders and the "." and ".." but if i replace: while (false !== ($file = readdir($handle))) { echo "{$file}<br>"; } with: while (false !== ($file = readdir($handle))) { if(file_exists($file) && is_dir($file)){echo "{$file}";} } The function only prints "." and ".." , not the two folder names that I'd like it to print. Any help is appreciated.

  Is there any way to create Executor that will have always at least 5 threads, and maximum of 20 threads, and unbounded queue for tasks (meaning no task is rejected) I tried new ThreadPoolExecutor(5, 20, 60L, TimeUnit.SECONDS, queue) with all possibilities that I thought of for queue: new LinkedBlockingQueue() // never runs more than 5 threads new LinkedBlockingQueue(1000000) // runs more than 5 threads, only when there is more than 1000000 tasks waiting new ArrayBlockingQueue(1000000) // runs more than 5 threads, only when there is more than 1000000 tasks waiting new SynchronousQueue() // no tasks can wait, after 20, they are rejected and none worked as wanted.

But i have some questions regarding mkdir and file_exists Do mkdir and file_exists works good for pass-protected folders ? and would i get any error while uploading file to that folder ? AND is this a good way of preventing direct access ? thanks

• Can I include a view in Kohana 3 that is not within `application/views`?

  I am building a staff area for a website, which is completely different to the main brochure style site. I have 2 Kohana systems setup. I realise they can both share the same system and modules folder. Now, with the second one, I want to make the main template view a view in a different folder. I tried this in my base controller $this->template = DOCROOT . '../~new2/application/views/template.php'; But Kohana is looking for it in its own views folder as evident by the error I received. I even put a var_dump(file_exists($this->template)); // true to be sure it was finding the correct file. Is there a way to add a template file that is not within the views folder, without hacking the core Kohana code (and if I'm lucky not extending and overloading the view class).

  hi. i am writing a cache module in php. it tries to write a cache with a $string+timestamp as a filename. i dont have problem with writing the cache. the problem is i do a foreach loop to get the cache that i want. this is the logic that i use for getting the cache foreach ($filenames as $filename){ if(strstr($filename,$cachename)){//if found if(check_timestamp($filename,time())) display_cace($filename); break; } } but when it tries to get and read the cache, it slows the server down. imagine that i have 10000 cache file in a folder, and i need to check for every file in that cache folder. so how do you think the best way of doing this. here i explain again, because even me still dont understand my written question.. :D i write cache file with this format filename_timestamp.. e.g cache_function_random_news_191982899010 in a folder ./cache/ when i want to get the cache, i only pass "cache_function_random_news_" and check recursively on that folder. if i find something with that needle on a file name, display it, and break. but checking recursively on a 10000 files in a folder is not a good thing yeah? please give me your opinion ok, that would clarify more. thanks.

• How to make dll referenced by ActiveX component accessible?

  I have an ActiveX component developed in C#. I'm referencing a dll which comes with other native dlls and it is loading them on the fly expecting them to be in the same folder (probably using Assembly.GetExecutingAssembly().Location but not sure, I don't have control over them). There is also one ini file which is also expected to be in the same folder. When I run the application as Windows form app, everything is fine, of course. But the trouble comes when I run it within Internet Explorer as the base directory is at the location of iexplore.exe. Obviously neither the dlls or the ini file can be found and many temporary working files outputted by the dlls are located in Internet Explorer folder. The workaround is to copy all ddls and ini file into the ie folder but that is not something I'd be happy about. What is the proper solution to this? Can I somehow set the base path for the ActiveX component?

• Android: Stopping method to be called twice if already running.

  I'm trying to prevent my application to call the same method twice in the event of a double-click, or if the user presses different buttons quickly, almost at the same time. I have clickable Views, acting as buttons, that call the same method but passing different parameters. This is the call: startTheSearch(context, getState(), what, where); Inside this method I'm creating a new Thread, because it queries a web server for the result: new Thread(new Runnable() { public void run() { progDiag = ProgressDialog.show(ctx, null, "Searching", true); getServerXML(context, what, where, searchIsCustom, mOffset); handler.sendEmptyMessage(0); } }).start(); The problem is that upon two quick clicks, the method is fired twice, two threads are created, and consequently two new activities are created. That makes my app crash. • NetBeans/C++ - how to choose the "main file" other than when creating a project?

  Hello, when I am creating a C++ project in NetBeans, there is a toggle button "Create main file" - I just enter a name for it and that's all. The problem is that I cannot put that file in a "different" folder than right in the main project folder. And I am "used" to put all the source files in a "src" folder (and its subfolders), but at the "project creation time" I "cannot" put the main file there. So I tried "not" to create the main file at project creation, but after that create manually the "src" file and then create a "cpp" file in that folder (this is "allowed" in NetBeans). But NetBeans could not find "which" is the main file. So how can I choose the main file other than when creating a project (if it is possible)?

  I try to create php web app using GAE. In the GAE tutorial, "A script handler executes a PHP script to handle the request that matches the URL pattern. The mapping defines a URL pattern to match, and the script to be executed" Now I want to map the url with the file having same name in the folder, e.g. if the url is /hello.* , it will map the file name hello.php in the folder. And if it is /hello1.*, hello1.php in the folder will be responded to the server. I thought this should be done directly by mapping the name of the url with the name in the folder. But if I left empty for the handler in the app.yaml, I got an error. So I want to know how to set up the handler in app.yaml?

  I have a php script which takes a relative pathname via $_GET, reads that file and creates a thumbnail of it. I dont want the user to be able to read any file from the server. Only files from a certain directory should be allowed, otherwiese the script should exit(). Here is my folder structure: files/ <-- all files from this folder are public my_stuff/ <-- this is the folder of my script that reads the files My script is accessed via mydomain.com/my_stuff/script.php?pathname=files/some.jpg. What should not be allowed e. g.: mydomain.com/my_stuff/script.php?pathname=files/../db_login.php So, here is the relevant part of the script in my_stuff folder: ... $pathname = $_GET['pathname']; $pathname = realpath('../' . $_GET['pathname']); if(strpos($pathname, '/files/') === false) exit('Error'); ... I am not really sure about that approach, doesnt seem too safe for me. Anyone with a better idea?

• Why doesn't this require_once statement find the file? (PHP)

  I not sure what's going on..maybe I missed something simple. In my connectvars.php file, I connect to the database using the variables in my config.php folder. Here's the hierarchy: admin(folder) config.php includes(folder) connectvars.php I want to get information from config.php to use in connectvars.php, so I use: require_once("../admin/config.php"); But everytime I do this I get Warning: require_once(../admin/config.php) [function.require-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/a8879415/public_html/includes/connectvars.php on line 2 BUT when I type: require_once("admin/config.php");, it works. I thought I had to go up a level, then go down to admin, then get config.php. So how come I just need to go into the admin folder then get config.php?

There are a variety of tools available to help you and Support diagnose SOA Suite issues in 11g but it can be confusing as to which tool is appropriate for a particular situation and what their relationships are. This blog post will introduce the various tools and attempt to clarify what each is for and how they are related. Let's first list the tools we'll be addressing: RDA: Remote Diagnostic Agent DFW: Diagnostic Framework Selective Tracing DMS: Dynamic Monitoring Service ODL: Oracle Diagnostic Logging ADR: Automatic Diagnostics Repository ADRCI: Automatic Diagnostics Repository Command Interpreter WLDF: WebLogic Diagnostic Framework This overview is not mean to be a comprehensive guide on using all of these tools, however, extensive reference materials are included that will provide many more details on their execution. Another point to note is that all of these tools are applicable for Fusion Middleware as a whole but specific products may or may not have implemented features to leverage them. A couple of the tools have a WebLogic Scripting Tool or 'WLST' interface. WLST is a command interface for executing pre-built functions and custom scripts against a domain. • A first look at ConfORM - Part 1

  All source codes for this post can be found at here.Have you ever heard of ConfORM is not? I have read it three months ago when I wrote an post about NHibernate and Autofac. At that time, this project really has just started and still in beta version, so I still do not really care much. But recently when reading a book by Jason Dentler NHibernate 3.0 Cookbook, I started to pay attention to it. Author have mentioned quite a lot of OSS in his book. And now again I have reviewed ConfORM once again. I have been involved in ConfORM development group on google and read some articles about it. Fabio Maulo spent a lot of work for the OSS, and I hope it will adapt a great way for NHibernate (because he contributed to NHibernate that). So what is ConfORM? It is stand for Configuration ORM, and it was trying to use a lot of heuristic model for identifying entities from C# code. Today, it's mostly Model First Driven development, so the first thing is to build the entity model. This is really important and we can see it is the heart of business software. Then we have to tell DB about the entity of this model. We often will use Inversion Engineering here, Database Schema is will create based on recently Entity Model. From now we will absolutely not interested in the DB again, only focus on the Entity Model.Fluent NHibenate really good, I liked this OSS. Sharp Architecture and has done so well in Fluent NHibernate integration with applications. A Multiple Database technical in Sharp Architecture is truly awesome. It can receive configuration, a connection string and a dll containing entity model, which would then create a SessionFactory, finally caching inside the computer memory. As the number of SessionFactory can be very large and will full of the memory, it has also devised a way of caching SessionFactory in the file. This post I hope this will not completely explain about and building a model of multiple databases. I just tried to mount a number of posts from the community and apply some of my knowledge to build a management model Session for ConfORM.As well as Fluent NHibernate, ConfORM also supported on the interface mapping, see this to understand it. So the first thing we will build the Entity Model for it, and here is what I will use the model for this article. • Extjs Tooltips, IFrames and IE => Problems

  I have an application using OpenLayers, Extjs and GeoExt. My application runs fine, but I need it to be placed inside an IFrame in another page. When doing this, my toolbar becomes responseless in Internet Explorer. The cause is Ext.QuickTips.init();. Comment out this line and everything works fine - except the quick tips ofcourse =) But why is it causing problems? Is it because I'm using it wrong, placing it wrong or just because it doesn't like IE and IFrames? • Calling AuditQuerySystemPolicy() (advapi32.dll) from C# returns "The parameter is incorrect"

  The sequence is like follows: Open a policy handle with LsaOpenPolicy() (not shown) Call LsaQueryInformationPolicy() to get the number of categories; For each category: Call AuditLookupCategoryGuidFromCategoryId() to turn the enum value into a GUID; Call AuditEnumerateSubCategories() to get a list of the GUIDs of all subcategories; Call AuditQuerySystemPolicy() to get the audit policies for the subcategories. All of these work and return expected, sensible values except the last. Calling AuditQuerySystemPolicy() gets me a "The parameter is incorrect" error. I'm thinking there must be some subtle unmarshaling problem. I'm probably misinterpreting what exactly AuditEnumerateSubCategories() returns, but I'm stumped. You'll see (commented) I tried to dereference the return pointer from AuditEnumerateSubCategories() as a pointer. Doing or not doing that gives the same result.
