  • Glassfish V3 won't start

    Hi everybody, I installed NetBeans 6.8 and tried to run the GlasshFish V3 server. I'm working under Windows Vista 32 Bits. First, it won't run.     When I attempt to compile the output of this trivial lex program: # lex.l integer printf("found keyword INT"); using: $ gcc lex.yy.c I get: Undefined symbols: "_yywrap", referenced from: _yylex in ccMsRtp7.o _input in ccMsRtp7.o "_main", referenced from: start in crt1.10.6.o ld: symbol(s) not found collect2: ld returned 1 exit status lex --version tells me I'm actually using 'flex 2.5.35' although ls -fla `which lex` isn't a symlink. Any ideas why the output won't compile?

    I'm having some difficulties building up some cross-platform Makefiles, and I'm getting errors from processes called by mingw32-make that don't make the problem clear. I've tried calling mingw32-make with "-d", and I get a lot of debug output, but the actual program invocations are hidden in temporary batch files that are immediately deleted. Is there any way to keep these batch files around, so that I can actually see what mingw32-make is doing under the hood, and fix what I assume is my problem?

  • VC++ libcurl .lib size

    I'm having an issue with the size of the .lib when I compile libcurl. It's 1.6 MB and the sample program they have is alround 300 KB. I downloaded the latest version (curl-7.20.0) and opened the project file from the lib directory in visual studio 2008. In the project properties I set /MT and compiled a release build. I even tried adding HTTP_ONLY to the processor which didn't seem to affect anything. What's going on?

    I just downloaded PHP and I tried running mySQL with the command: C:\Program Files\EasyPHP-5.3.2i\mySQL\bin\mysql.exe And I got the error: ERROR 1045 (28000): Acess denied for user 'ODBC'@localhost' (using password: YES) I found a solution online with linux, but I'm running vista on this machine and have no clue what all of that meant. Please help, I'm tired of using the school's terminals.

I am trying to get the latest Android source by using the following commands: repo init -u git://android.git.kernel.org/platform/manifest.git The command succeeds but I am not able to see .repo directory created. repo sync This command also succeeds and the program shows the details of objects being received. We have data in text files for the Oracle SQL Loader and now we need to get that data into the SQL Server DB. I could write a program that converts everything into INSERT statements but there has to be a more comfortable way to so this. Any suggestions?   • Tray Icons Keep On Popping Up

    I have a WinForm program that checks a database for changes, and if there are any, it will open another WinForm telling the user what is happening (the popup WinForm has some special functionality making a MessageBox insufficient for this task). Each time one of these popup WinForms shows up, a new icon shows up in the system tray and does not go away even if you hover over it (this isn't a tray refresh issue). What I'm wondering is how to get the popup WinForm to display no tray icon at all.
