When a file to be downloaded is clicked, I get the following in the Internet Explorer Information bar: To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has blocked this site from downloading files to you computer. I added a registry key to, HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\ then a REG_DWORD value named "http" with value==2 as given in http://stackoverflow.com/questions/972345/programmatically-add-trusted-sites-to-internet-explorer but still facing same issues. My understanding is that the file is copied from the client to a temporary file on my server, which then is referenced in the $_FILES var.   I frequently upload CSV files to a MySQL db. It is very convenient to use LOAD DATA LOCAL INFILE to upload the data, but I can't use this to create the table itself. As of now, the best method I have is to use PHP to get the field titles from the first row of the file and then put together a CREATE table query. Is there a more convenient way to do this?
