  • Unable to detect Capture Device (webcam) through JMF

    Hello, I am using JMF to operate my web cam.My usb webcam works perfectly with JMF, I used it in JMStudio however,when I make this call from my java code deviceListVector = CaptureDeviceManager.getDeviceList( null ); my USB "webcam" is detected however when i am trying to detect webcam on my laptop it is not detecting any device. How can I properly detect the webcam of laptop, and its formats, from JMF API? Please help me. Thanks in advance.

I'm using VB.NET for a web-application that starts some process using CreateObject, like this: Dim AVObject = CreateObject("avwin.application") After all is done everything get closed down en stopped using the proper release functions, however, for some reason the process remains. Is there some way in which I can get the process id of the started process, in order to explicitly kill it just before termination? Thanks

    Hi Stackoverflow, I am executing a simple query against SQL Server 2005: protected static void InitConnection(IDbCommand cmd) { cmd.CommandText = "set transaction isolation level read uncommitted "; cmd.ExecuteNonQuery(); } Whenever I profile with dotTrace 3.1, it claims that SNIReadSync method is taking between 100 - 500 ms. What sort of things do I need to be looking for in order to get this time down? Thanks!

    Hi I have a webservice with the following annotations: @WebService @HttpSessionScope @Stateful @Addressing Now I created a ASP.NET (c#) client for this webservice, but when I call a method the following error is returned: This is a stateful web service and {http://jax-ws.dev.java.net/xml/ns/}objectId header is required. How can I tell ASP.net to switch to stateful mode? Is this possible at all? Thanks any advice/examples.

  • Silverlight: After adding table no datacontext classes are available for the new DomainService class

    I'm using a Silverlight 4 WCF RIA Services demo application that uses LinqToSql, that works well. I add a new database table, move the new table to the LinqToSql designer and build the project I add a new DomainService class I get a dialog with the only option to create an empty DomainService and no DataContext classes are available.     Hi at all, I have 2 site: example.com and exampletwo.com I want that when a user login on example.com then he is automatically authenticated also on exampletwo.com How can I do that ? I use Django + Nginx on first website and Tornado framework + Tornado server on second website. Thanks ;) . P.S. If you don't know this platforms ( Django or Tornado or Nginx ), I accept also a solution for a generic PHP+Apache platform and then I will do some research :)
