• Using widthratio tag properly

  Hi. In my application I need to show in template stocks for my products. So from product view I'm returning variable {{stock}} which is my amount and then I'm trying to use it in template : <div class="bar_in" width="{% widthratio {{stock}} 10 100 %}px" style="background:black;"></div> But it constantly give me "Could not parse the remainder: '{{stock}}' from '{{stock}}' " error. I've tried casting it as int but still the same problem. How to make it work properly ?

• ToolStrip control never fire Enter/Leave event??

  I created a movable panel in WinForms. I use a ToolStrip as a titlebar in the panel. I'll use the ToolStrip to move the panel as well as indicating the panel is "active" or not. So when the panel is active, I want to change the ToolStrip's BackColor to Red. The idea is capturing ToolStrip's Enter/Leave event to change the color, but it seems those events are never fired. Are those events truly never fired? Should I capture other events?

  We are currently in the process of solidifying a database change management process. We run MySql 5 running on RedHat 5. I have selected LiquiBase as the tool because it's open source and allows us to expand its functionality later if needed. It also seems to be one of the few free projects that are still active. Has anyone here had any experience using LiquiBase or other Db versioning tools? Company Background: We are an SaaS company providing a 7/24 hosted application. There are dozens of instances running different versions of the same database and we need a way to manage the deploy process as it's starting to get out of control. The databases have hundreds of tables and we typically do releases once every 3 months.

• Eclipse uses 100 % CPU randomly

  Hi everyone! My eclipse sometimes starts using 100 % of my CPU very spontaneously. I can't figure out why it needs that much CPU usage. There is no background task like "building workspace" running. After some time the CPU load drops to 0 and everything is normal. I can't find any information related to the problem in workspace/.metadata/.log file. Has anybody some tip how i can figure out which part of eclipse is using the CPU so heavily? Is there a way to get a thread dump of eclipse? The kill -3 on the eclipse process doesn't do anything. Eclipse Version: Galileo JavaEE Operating System: Linux 2.6.31 Thanks in advance! Florian

• Trouble using Loader, can't access properties of loaded swf

  May not have asked question correctly so I’m asking again. I’m using Flash AS3 with code in actions layer. Main movieclip onstage is : design_mc. Within it is a movieclip already in place onstage with an instance name clipart_mc. Now I’m also loading a ListBox to the stage and each time a selection is made from listbox myLoader9 is used to load selected .swf into design_mc.clipArt_mc. Now within each of the .swf files loaded into design_mc.clipArt_mc there is a mc I’d like to color transform called color_mc. So now the listbox is onstage and I make a selection that places heart.swf inside of design_mc.clipArt_mc. I want to access heart.swf so I did this: var child:DisplayObject = myLoader9.content.contentLoaderInfo.content.color_mc; var colorTrans3:ColorTransform = new ColorTransform(); var trans3:Transform = new Transform(child); I still can not get to heart.swf. • jquery ui tabs major style change

  I am using jquery UI tabs and I need to majorly change the styling on it. I need to rempve the background image, the borders, almost everything. I need it to look minimal, and not like it's self contained. What's the best way to do this? I need to use the default UI styling for the calendar widget however, which is on the same page. I've done a lot of research and everyone seems to point to the theme-roller. However, i do not just want to change the colors and border radii. I need to delete crap. theme-roller seems to be just change things like colors (not really useful for the real world) Is it even worth using jquery UI for my tabs?

• How to solve/hack fading semi-transparent PNG bug in IE8?

  As you know, IE6 has bug that can't display semi-transparent PNG file without using non-standard style like filter. In IE7, this problem is fixed. But It still has some bug about PNG file. It can't correctly display fading semi-transparent PNG file. You can clearly see it when you use show/hide function in jQuery with semi-transparent PNG file. The background of image is displayed with non-transparent black color. Do you have any idea for solve this question by using jQuery. Update Let's see my testing As you see, IE8 always incorrectly displays PNG-24 image. Moreover, IE8 still correctly display PNG-8 image when I fade(jQuery.fadeOut function) it only. • copy HTML to UIPasteboard

  Hi, I want to transfer HTML from my app to the iPhone mail application. I already have the HTML text - lest say <span style='color:red'Test</span I can place this to UIPasteBoard - but when I paste it to mail I get the html source. When I place the same string in a HTMLView - select it there and copy it it pastes as red text in mail. What do I have to do to place the string in the UIPasteBoard so that it pastes as red text to the mail application? I've been searching for "format types" - and found that UIPasteBoard returns "Aplle Web Archive pasteboard type" when I have the element (copied from UIWebView) in the clipboard. But setting this as type when adding the content to UIPasteBoard pastes nothing in the mail app. Manfred

• Adding a subview to UITableCellView

  I want to add a subview to my UITableCellView subclass. However, non of the provided views in the class seem to be able to do exactly what I was looking for. I basically want to add my own background view, filling the whole cell. However, if I replace the backgroundView, the style from the grouped table view layout isn't displayed anymore. If I add a subview to backgroundView, the subview is not shown at all. If I add a subview to the contentView, I can't draw behind the accessory icon. What am I missing?

• WCF performance improvements

  I am developing a WPF application that talks to a server via WCF services over the internet. After profiling the application I noticed a lot of time is being taking up by creating the appropriate WCF client proxy and making the call to the server. The code on the server is optimised and doesn't take any time to run yet I am still seeing a 1.5 second delay from when a service is invloked to it returning to the client. A few points to give a bit of background: I am using the ASP.Net membership for security I will eventually hook into the same server side code through a website I would eventually like to have offline support in the application I really need to nail the performance early though as if the app is taking a couple of seconds to come back it is too long for what I am trying to do. Can anyone suggest performance tips that will help me please?

  I have a grid datawindow with a picture in it's background (with dimensions of an A4 page) and I would like to export both data and the picture as a (single page) PDF file.   Hey guys I have a problem with an app Im making. The thing is I want to add it some background music, but I just want to add it in the main view. My app has 3 view controllers: Main View Controller, Second View Controller and Third View Controller. What I want is to start the music in the Main View Controller and stop it when the Third View Controller is presented.   Hello, I have a comprehension question about Android Services. I have a Service that performs background http operations and a Activity that should display the current state of these http operations. So I implementet the Binder interface and so on. I can call the bindService method and onServiceConnected of my ServiceConnnection is getting called. But as far as I know, onBind doesn't calls onStartCommand() and so onStart() of the Service is never called. So how can I call the onStart() method of the service class and start my operations. Or how is the best way to start my operations in the service, when I also want a binding between the Activity and the Service.

• Batch file script to remove special characters from filenames (Windows)

  I have a large set of files, some of which contain special characters in the filename (e.g. ä,ö,%, and others). I'd like a script file to iterate over these files and rename them removing the special characters. I don't really mind what it does, but it could replace them with underscores for example e.g. Störung%20.doc would be renamed to St_rung_20.doc In order of preference: A DOS batch file A Windows script file to run with cscript (vbs) A third party piece of software that can be run from the command-line (i.e. no user interaction required) Another language script file, for which I'd have to install an additional script engine Background: I'm trying to encrypt these file with GnuPG on Windows but it doesn't seem to handle special characters in filenames with the --encrypt-files option.

• IE6 Hacks: Getting jQuery tools expose to work properly on my site

  Hi, I am trying to get the jQuery tools 'expose' function to work properly in IE6. The page is http://204.51.246.10:12123/ You will need IE6 to reproduce the bug (obviously :)). If you click 'Sign In' on the top-right corner (below the 'Join Today!' button), you will notice that the sign in panel (fieldset#login-controls) is getting covered by the background of its parent element (.signinPanel), which is very weird. It is not on the top of z-index, and I can't figure out why. Please note that in order to get fieldset#login-controls positioned correctly, I have applied the following hack for IE6: $("#header, #header div, #header table, #header td, #header tr").css("position", "static"); $("fieldset#login-controls *").css("position", "static"); This might be the reason for the above. • Transparent PNG menu item backgrounds in IE6 with rollovers

  Hi I have been trying to do this for what feels like all my life I have a list menu with block display links, each link has a sliding doors png background image. I have used this javascript (http://www.ideashower.com/our_solutions/png-hover/) to implement the alphaimageloader fix for ie6 using a transparent gif. When I test it for the first time it works but if I click to a different page and then click back it doesn't work anymore - the menu completely disappears, I can get it to work again by duplicating the transparent gif and changing it's name, but again if I go to another page and then come back to it, it stops working and the menu dissappears. Is this a server caching issue or something like that. Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated! Thanks

• Flash / actionscript 3 sound delay.

  Hey. Im working on a flash project where I am loading multiple sounds from external files. The problem is that when I play them within my project there is a small delay from when they should be played until they are actually playing. My sounds are very short and are loaded before the project is actually using them. I have looked up the problem online and it looks like the problem is not something that is only happening for me. But, non of the resources I found had any clear ways of fixing this. Some resources say that you can fix this my constantly having a sound playing in the background. I have that but it does not help. I have also looked at the actual sound file in a sound tool and there is a small delay before the sound starts, but it is very very small and should not result in the delay im seeing in my flash project. Does anyone know of a good way to fix it?

• Is there such a thing as an "elisp bundle" for TextMate?

  I started using Code Collector Pro to organise and save my Emacs codes, and this software requires TextMate bundles for syntax highlighting. They have a lisp bundle, but not an elisp bundle, at least not that I can see. I would think that the syntax highlighting would work under the lisp bundle, but for some reason it isn't happening. I have never even seen any lisp code with syntax highlighting, so it is possible that the thing is working and I don't know, but I honestly don't think so, because the ;; before a line seems to me to be a comment thing, so anything after that should be in the color defined for comments which in my case is green. Here is a picture of my code collector screen with a piece of code written by huaiyuan answering my question posted here: Is this looking as it should or is there something wrong? Back to the initial question: is there a textmate bundle for elisp or a bundle like the ones from textmate I can download to get syntax highlighting?

  There is a markup: <a href="#"> lorem ipsum<span>15</span> </a> There are styles: a{ text-decoration: underline; } a span{ background: #fff; //To clean the bottom underlining under <span> } Works in all interesting me browsers. Except IE6. The bottom underlining under <span> remains. How to solve this problem without changing a markup.
