  How do I configure the Google Chrome / Chromium address bar to perform a search instead of trying to access a file on the local file system? I would like to be able to enter a file name in the address bar and to see Google search results for that file name similar to what I would see if I searched for the file name using something like https://www.google.com/#q=/path/to/interesting/file I am able to disable the file scheme using either of the following policy settings: "DisabledSchemes": ["file"], Which has been deprecated in favor of: "URLBlacklist": ["file://"], But in either case Google Chrome / Chromium continues to auto-detect that a file name was entered, automatically prepends the file scheme to the file name, and then reports that the webpage is blocked.

Now i want to save the multiple attachments data i.e., Contents of file, Extension, Size and name of file , How can i do it. • Easiest way to beg users for their emails and to put them on a mailing list.

  I notice that some games I bought at one point asked me for my email address (to register an account of sorts), and from then on, every month, or everytime there are new games out by them, they send out mails to me. Ostensibly, it seems to be quite an effective way to keep your users in touch. But I suppose this would only work if you have a valid excuse for getting email address from the users (e.g for account setups). I was thinking of using incentives (such as bonus functionality in-game) to beg for user's emails, but after that, what is the easiest way to keep track of their email addresses, and to send them a mail? What software can do that for you easily? Also, is there web services for this? Not sure how much I'd trust web services not to harvest the mails instead though.

• Mouse not clicking properly

  Okay guys, here's a tricky one. I'm running 10.10 on my pc but i've had this issue for some time now.I'm having strange issues with the mouse. What happens is when I get into Ubuntu, I can click anything, but as soon as I click something to open a window, run a program, I can no longer click anything EXCEPT the last thing I clicked. When I right click the last thing I clicked, it allows me to click everything normally, but only until I open something new. So for example I'll click the email icon on docky to open up my email client, which opens but is unresponsive until I right click docky. Then if I open an attatchment, I must also right click the MENU bar on my email client. Sometimes it also works if I simply right click on the newly opened window. I have tried this mith mutiple mice and still the same issue.

  I get TONS of email from customer. Over time, this email helps me to determine what areas in our product collection are opportunities for enhancement or improvement. I store the email that comes from my blog contact form in folders and then search through them looking for trends periodically. It occurred to me that, while I need to get the emails because many of them are actionable, it would be great if I could use reporting and analysis tools against the collection.   Do you use E-mail Center Auto-Processing functionality?  Auto-processing rules can be defined which will process an email and initiate actions such as sending an auto-reply, auto-acknowledgement or service request update or creation.  If you're using auto-processing in your environment, then you will have noticed that, when things go wrong, often the only indication that there is an issue is if the email goes to the Supervisor Queue for manual processing instead of being sent.  Oracle Development has developed a script to help you debug when an email is meant to be auto-processed but is failing. There are scripts for R12.0.6 through to R12.1.3. See Doc ID 1427925.1 for details of the script and how to use it.

• Recognizing text fields according to their label value

  I have an application who has text fields (not select, not checkbox or other types) where an user can enter some value, like this: ISBN and E-Mail are the label of each input. Now I have to automatically test these inputs according to their label. The question is: how to recognize that, for example, the first input requires an ISBN code? I programmed something like this: turn the label value to lowercase check if the label value contains isbn if so set the field value to a random ISBN code (i.e.: 1234567890), else set it to a random value (default) For the email field: turn the label value to lowercase check if the label value contains e-mail or email or mail if so set the field value to a random email (i.e.: [email protected]), else set it to a random value (default) And so on for each text field I encounter. Is that reliable? How can I improve the "recognizing part"? I know only the label value and the field value (what is already written in the field by default) for each text input.

The account that controls your Engage membership now has an email address of: fasheikh15%[email protected]. How can I fix this? Go to the sign-in page: Sign In Log in with your normal password but instead use the following email address: myemailadd%[email protected] You will then be given the option to switch your Engage member profile to: [email protected]. If you wish to do this then just follow the on-screen instructions when you get to the Switch Accounts page. I've been contacting them since April to no avail so I thought I'd see if anyone here has any fixes?

• Ado.net dataservices BeginExecuteBatch call works on development fails on production server with Obj

  We have an ado.net dataservices 1.0 call that is being passed to a [WebGet] service operation as a batch through BeginExecuteBatch. Everything works perfectly on our development server - we have the project configured to use IIS instead of the cassini web server to make it as close to our production server as we can. When we publish to the production server, all the service operations work perfectly except the batch call, which fails with Object does not match target type. . I have not been able to find any cause for this. I can even run a single non-batch style GET operation against the [WebGet] service by copying the URL used in the batch and pasting it in a browser. I have not been able to find any information to help me solve this - any guidance would be most appreciated. Thanks, Mike M.   I have an Entity Framework data model. Part of the model is a Customer entity. The web service provides a method to get a customer, and to receive an updated version of this customer to be persisted. To test this, I created a new ASP.NET web Application, (Solution Add New Project ASP.NET Web Application), then added a reference to my service reference using the standard Add Service Reference dialog. I then call the service using the following code: var client = new CustomerServiceClient(); var customer = client.GetCustomerByID(18); // get it customer.LimitDown = 100; // change it client.SaveCustomer(customer); // persist it Everything works as expected. Now, I do exactly the same thing, but this time with as ASP.NET Web Site (Solution Add New Web Site ASP.NET Web Site). I add the reference in a similar fashion and copy and paste the code above into the new site. But now I get the following exception thrown on the 4th line: System.InvalidOperationException The EntityReference object could not be serialized. This type of object cannot be serialized when the RelationshipManager belongs to an entity object that does not implement IEntityWithRelationships. My parent's web.config has: <configuration> <configSections> </configSections> // 10 or so custom config sections like log4net, hibernate, <connectionStrings> </connectionStrings> <appSettings> </appSettings> <system.diagnostics> </system.diagnostics> <system.web> <webParts> </webParts> <membership> </membership> <compilation> </compilation> </system.web> <location ..> <system.web> </system.web> </location> <system.webServer> </system.webServer> My child web application is setup as an application in IIS, and is inheriting from the parent's web.config which is causing problems. Where exactly should I place the <location inheritInChildApplications="false"> so it ignores all the various web.config settings?

  Hi all, I´m trying to inspect the types in a silverlight 4 assembly from a .NET 3.5 application. I have loaded the silverlight assembly with a Assembly.ReflectionOnlyLoadFrom sentence. contractsAssembly = Assembly.ReflectionOnlyLoadFrom(contractsAssemblyPath); When the .NET application tries to perform a call to GetTypes(), it throws a ReflectionTypeLoadException. Type[] types = contractsAssembly.GetTypes(); The LoaderExceptions property in the ReflectionTypeLoadException contains a list of exceptions, all of them regarding a problem loading a type that has serialization attributes. Type 'XXXX' in assembly 'YYYY' has method 'OnSerializing' with an incorrect signature for the serialization attribute that it is decorated with. The type XXXX has the following definitions in it: [System.Runtime.Serialization.OnSerializing] public void OnSerializing(System.Runtime.Serialization.StreamingContext context) [System.Runtime.Serialization.OnSerialized] public void OnSerialized(System.Runtime.Serialization.StreamingContext context) [System.Runtime.Serialization.OnDeserializing] public void OnDeserializing(System.Runtime.Serialization.StreamingContext context) [System.Runtime.Serialization.OnDeserialized] public void OnDeserialized(System.Runtime.Serialization.StreamingContext context) I have tried changing the method signature to internal or private, but with no luck. When I perform a GetTypes() call in a silverlight application that inspects this assembly I have no problems, so I thought that this was due to an incompatibility between .NET Framework and Silverlight. However, I see that .NET tools such as Reflector can inspect this Silverlight assembly, so there is a way to inspect Silverlight assemblies with serialization attributes from a .NET applciation. • fmod VS2008 unresolved externals in dependant project

  Im currently trying to use the latest stable fmod ex in my project. I have a main executable in a project called engine4, and a project named DX9Platform in the solution as well which ti depends on. All the fmod code is in this DX9Platform project, which generates a lib file. DX9Platform includes fmodex_vc.lib and builds fine. However buildign Engien4 results in unresolved external symbol messages referencing files that use fmod in the DX9Platform project I have tried adding fmodex_vc.lib to the Engine4 project, with no success, how do I fix this?   I am attempting to call a Web Service (created in PHP) from my C# application. I have successfully added the Web Reference in Visual Studios, however I cannot figure out exactly how to invoke the call to the web service. I have been following this tutorial: http://sanity-free.org/article25.html however when I try and compile I get a "The type or namespace name 'SimpleService' could not be found". (maybe because it expected a IList<) So, my question is: Does anybody know why the type of my IList< is an array after deserializing and why I can't serialize my Team object any longer after that?   Hi All, I know the similar question may have been asked many times, but I want to represent the behavior I'm seeing and find if somebody can help predict the cause of this. I am writing a windows service which connects to other windows service over TCP. There are 100 user entities of this, and 5 connections per each. These users perform their tasks using their individual connections. The application goes on withough seeing this problem for 1 or 2 days. Or sometimes show the problem right after starting (-rarely). The best run I had was like 4 to 5 days without showing this exception. And after that application died or I had to stop it for various reasons. I want to know what can be causing this? • Serializing Complex ViewModel with Json.Net Destabilization Error on Latest Version

  I just added the latest Version of JSON.Net and I get the System.Security.VerificationException: Operation could destabilize the runtime error when trying to use a controller (while running the application). I read in other posts that this issue should have been fixed in release 6 but I still have the problem. I even added *Newtonsoft.* to the ignore modules in the intellitrace options, which seems to have suppressed the error, but the post will just run forever and not return anything. Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated.
