• Why do so many wpf controls implement CLR properties instead of dependency properties ?

  Hello, is it because the controls programmers are lazy, too hard to implement or not knowledgeable? Wether they are custom controls from 3rd party vendors or Microsoft itself, very much controls have often clr properties instead of DP. Result is I can not bind to them and is wpf not all about binding? :/ My next side question would be, why do so many wpf controls offer visual parts but they are not member of the visual tree ? see wpf datagrid columns, headers... What do you think?

  For example, let's use the Add method of the ArrayList class. If I am using the default compiler settings in Visual Studio C# project in which arithmetic overflow is not checked, would ArrayList.Add() throw an OverflowException if I added too many items? Would surrounding the method call with checked or unchecked make any difference? BTW, I would write a test program to determine the answer to this question if I had Visual Studio available to me right now.

When the application is executed, if the code path that has "_asm int 3" is encountered Visual Studio Debugger used to get lauched and I could debug the problems. • How can I move my Dynamic Data folder?

  I accidentally moved my Dynamic Data' folder into myImagesfolder. The project still compiles, but it's just not right. However, when I try to move it back to the root in Visual Studio, I get an error that the destination folder already exists. If I moveDynamic Data` back to the root outside of Visual Studio, the project no longer compiles because the compiler can't find any dynamic data files. My infancy with git prompted me to ask here before embarking on an unpleasant 2am quest.

  I often see __WIN32, WIN32 or __WIN32__. I assume that this depends on the used preprocessor (either one from visual studio, or gcc etc). Do I now have to check first for os and then for the used compiler? We are using here G++ 4.4.x, Visual Studio 2008 and Xcode (which I assume is a gcc again) and ATM we are using just __WIN32__, __APPLE__ and __LINUX__.

• WAMP server suddenly stopped running scripts

  I have been working on a website for some months now. Every day, I open up the PHP scripts in the same manner, and every day they work just fine. Today, I go to open one up the same as I always do, except the page just comes up as the text file. All pages are the same, I have not changed most of them for many weeks now. WAMP is giving me no errors. I just installed the latest version, and it still won't work. There is no problem with file extensions, The only problem I can find is in the Apache Error Log: [Fri Oct 25 10:42:40.029691 2013] [mime:warn] [pid 4860:tid 1508] AH01599: Cannot get media type from 'x-httpd-php53' What does this mean?

  OK I have a standard post here: http://www.ticketyoda.co.uk/concerts/rihanna-tickets/rihanna-tickets-manchester-2013-06-12-united-kingdom/970 I am trying to make each post unique and contain the category information for both the city (Manchester) and the Artist (Rihanna). At the moment the box underneath the venue contains the information taken from the category (see breadcrumb). So I have 1 out of 2. What I need now is for an extra box below to show the category information for the Artist. I use : <?php $category = get_the_category(); echo $category[0]->category_description; ?> to get the first category.   I get the error message 'Can't create deploy folder.' when I try to profile a remote websites on WAWS. Actions taken: Downloaded and installed the dotTrace Profiler 5.5 from the JetBrains website Downloaded the dotTrace.Performance.Remote version 5.5.0 from Nuget Published the website to WAWS via Visual Studio 2013 Started the dotTrace application as Administrator Connected to the remote _https://subdomain.azurwebsites.net/AgentService.asmx. See image: http://1drv.ms/1nF5Cyh Selected the w3wp process and pressed Run Got the error message 'Can't create deploy folder'.   If I create a Web Application project in visual studio 2008 I can add a resource file for a page and using the Access Modifier drop down in the resource file editor to let visual studio generate the code so that the local resources are strongly typed. However if I create a Web Site project this combo box is disabled. Is there anyway to acheive this for a web site?

  I'm doing Elgamal Signature Scheme and I need to use the decimal hash value from the message to compute S for signature generation. string hash = md5(message); cout << hash << endl; NTL::ZZ msgHash = strtol(hash.c_str(), NULL, 16); cout << msgHash << endl; There are no integer large enough to contain the value of 32 byte hexadecimal hash, and so I tried big integer from NTL library but it didn't work out because you cannot assign long integer to NTL::ZZ type. Is there any good solution to this? I'm doing this with visual C++ in Visual Studio 2013.
