    I am using Visual C# Express 2010 to develop an application for the Unity3D game engine, which only supports C# 2.0. That is, I am only using it to edit code, but the compilation is done by Unity. I'm wondering if there is a way to configure Visual C# to edit C# 2.0, so that, for example, it yells if I (out of habit) try to use a var declaration or foo => bar function. Thanks!

    Hi, does anybody have a manuel that describes the steps to create an anonymous user authentication in SharePoint 2010 (Website for the internet with no authentication). For editing an admin has to log in with forms authentication. Can I hold the admin somewhere in the web.config with membership provider ? Or do I need to install SQL Server somewhere for that task ?     I have "Selected Text" color set to a default value in vs 2010 RGB 51,153,253. But really in text editor it is RGB 173,214,255 that is slightly darker. The same things are with some other colors, e.g. Resharper Dead Code. What can it be a problem and how should I solve it?

  • How can I find the Windows domain logon name of a user from within Outlook 2010?

    I need to figure out someone's login name for our domain, and I'd like to be able to do this from within Outlook 2010. I used to be able to do this from Outlook 2007 by right-clicking the user's name in an email message that they'd sent me, and clicking "Outlook Properties..." in the context menu. That would bring up this dialog, which contained what I need in the "alias" field: Now I've installed Outlook 2010. I want to do the same thing, but I can't seem to find a corresponding field. First, I don't see an explicit "Outlook Properties" menu option anymore, and what I think is the corresponding dialog looks completely different: It seems weird that, although I'm looking at the properties of my own name in the same email message in 2007 and 2010 in these screenshots, my name is shown differently in each -- Chris versus Christopher. That makes me think that Outlook isn't really looking in the same place to get this info in each case. So, can I get that "alias" field from within Outlook 2010?

    I've installed MS Office 2010 Beta (OneClick technology). All apps launch from 1 program, Word for example has this link: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\microsoft shared\Virtualization Handler\CVH.EXE" "Microsoft Word 2010 (Beta) 2014006204190000" Or OneNote: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\microsoft shared\Virtualization Handler\CVH.EXE" "Microsoft OneNote 2010 (Beta) 2014006204190000" Because of that I can't associate files with Office programs in file properties, they actually associate with “Microsoft Office Client Virtualization Handler” (CVH.EXE). Anyone know another way to do that?

    Last night I upgraded to Office 2010 RTM from MSDN. I'm now trying to uninstall the Office Live Add-in that I used with Office 2007 as this functionality is built in to Office 2010. When I run the uninstall from control panel I get the following message: Microsoft Office Live Add-in cannot be installed because you do not have the right version of Microsoft Office installed on your computer Google has pointed to 2 solutions, both of which are pretty useless: Use the MS Windows Installer Cleanup - this is not good because all it does is remove the Installer entry from the registry, leaving all the installed files behind Uninstall Office 2010, uninstall Add-in, reinstall Office 2010 - that is just ridiculous, but typical MS response So, can I get this off my system without resorting to option 2?

A number of them are related to getting a stacktrace: property StackTrace: string *read* GetStackTrace; property StackInfo: Pointer read FStackInfo; class var GetExceptionStackInfoProc: function (P: PExceptionRecord): Pointer; class var GetStackInfoStringProc: function (Info: Pointer): string; class var CleanUpStackInfoProc: procedure (Info: Pointer); Has anyone used these to obtain a stack trace yet? Yeah, I know there are other ways to get a stack trace, but if it is supported natively in the Exception class I would rather leverage that. Update: There is an interest blog post about this.     Hi! Is there a Delphi-5 solution to easily integrate single-file storage into existing code? I would like to have files like Java *.jar or Openoffice document files which are zipped/compressed files and folders but with their own file extension. Edit: I know some ZIP capable components but in a nutshell I want to access files within the "container" and use normal file handling routines on them (eg. TStringList.SaveToFile). Any overhead about compress/uncompress should be handled by the component.
