    i am new to asp.net. I have uploaded a site in ftp. except default.aspx remaining pages working. when i navigate to home page i.e Default.aspx it shows an error Server Error in '/' Application.   • Python BOM error in Ascii file

    I have a wierd annoying problem with Python 2.6 I trying to run this file (and the other), on my Embedded Linux ARM board. http://svn.tuxisalive.com/software_suite_v3/smart-core/smart-server/trunk/TDSService.py I get this error File "tuxhttpserver.py", line 1 SyntaxError: encoding problem: with BOM I know that error is about the BOM bytes etc etc. BUT, there are NO BOM bytes, its plain Ascii. I checked with a Hexeditor, and the linux File command says its Ascii. Im freaking out here... The code worked fine on my Sheevaplug (also a ARM based system).

  • Boost Filesystem Library Visual C++ Compile Error

    I'm having the following issue just trying to compile/run some of the example programs with the Boost Filesystem Library. I'm using MS-Visual C++ with Visual Studio .NET (2003). I've installed the Boost libraries, version 1.38 and 1.39 (just in case there was a version problem) using the BoostPro installers. If I just try to include /boost/filesystem/operations.hpp I receive the following error: \boost_1_38\boost\system\error_code.hpp(230) : error C2039: 'type' : is not a member of 'boost::enable_if<boost::system::is_error_condition_enum<Cond,boost::detail::enable_if_default_T>' Any help is greatly appreciated.     My website has been giving me intermittent errors when trying to perform any Ajax activities. The message I get is Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerParserErrorException: The message received from the server could not be parsed. Common causes for this error are when the response is modified by calls to Response.Write(), response filters, HttpModules, or server trace is enabled. Details: Error parsing near ' So its obviously some sort of server timeout or the server's just returning back mangled garbage. This generally, unfortunately not always, happens when the site has been idle for a while. Anybody else been able to overcome this? Thanks

    The two following usort functions throw fatal error Base lambda function for closure not found in our productive environment (PHP 5.4). This seems to be a known PHP bug that should be fixed by now (https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=52144), but it still occurs for us. Anyway, we unfortunately don't have time to figure out what's wrong with our PHP configurations etc. We would like to rewrite these two functions without the use of anonymous functions, so that the error doesn't occur anymore. Ordering of a multidimensional array ($array) by value of key "position": usort($array, function($a, $b) { return $a['position'] - $b['position']; }); Ordering of a multidimensional array ($array) according to the order of a second array ($position_order): usort($array, function($a, $b) use($position_order) { return (isset($position_order[$a['ftid']]) ? ($position_order[$a['ftid']] - $position_order[$b['ftid']]) : 1); }); Especially the latter causes some headache, as we don't know how to pass the "outside" array $position_order.

I'm really looking for something like less that I can pipe my errors into that will collapse the template parameter lists by default, maybe with some nice highlighting so that my errors are actually readable. (Yes, it's boost's fault I have such incomprehensible errors, in case you were wondering)

    You all know how annoying is this: I do have a log system and the correct error is well explicit there, but I want to give a better message to the user. I keep trying several ways but I'm using Telerik components and well jQuery and I ended up using both ASP.NET Ajax methods and jQuery, so I use function pageLoad() { try { var manager = Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManager.getInstance(); manager.add_endRequest(endRequest); manager.add_beginRequest(OnBeginRequest); manager } catch (err) { alert(err); } } as well $(document).ready(function() { ... } that alert(err) is never fired even upon OnClick events what's the best approach to avoid this message errors and provide a cleaner way? all this happens in <asp:UpdatePanel> as I use that when I didn't know better (3 years ago!) and I really don't want to mess up and build all again from scratch :( Any help is greatly appreciated Updated with more error windows after volpav solution

  • PHP imap_search not detecting all messages in gmail inbox

    When I run a very simple imap_search on my GMail inbox, the search returns less messages than it should. Here is the script that anyone with a GMail account can run. $host = '{imap.gmail.com:993/imap/ssl}'; $user = 'foo'; $pass = 'bar'; $imapStream = imap_open($host,$user,$pass) or die(imap_last_error()); $messages = imap_search($imapStream,"ALL"); echo count($messages); imap_close($imapStream); This returns 39 messages. But, I've got 100 messages in my inbox, some in conversations, some forwarded from another account (SquirrelMail, FWIW). Can anyone duplicate these results, and/or tell me what's going on?     In my project I have it set up so that all the tables in the DB has the property "id" and then I have the entity objects inherit from the EntityBase class using a repository pattern. I then set the inheritance modifier for "id" property in the dbml file o/r designer to "overrides" Public MustInherit Class EntityBase MustOverride Property id() As Integer End Class Public MustInherit Class RepositoryBase(Of T As EntityBase) Protected _Db As New DataClasses1DataContext Public Function GetById(ByVal Id As Integer) As T Return (From a In _Db.GetTable(Of T)() Where a.id = Id).SingleOrDefault End Function End Class Partial Public Class Entity1 Inherits EntityBase End Class Public Class TestRepository Inherits RepositoryBase(Of Entity1) End Class the line Return (From a In _Db.GetTable(Of T)() Where a.id = Id).SingleOrDefault however produces the error "Class member EntityBase.id is unmapped" when i use VS 2010 using the 4.0 framework but I never received that error with the old one. I've never seen anything that does it, but it just seems like it would be a helluva nice feature and I think about it in the back of my mind every time an error occurs when I have to manually go find it in the source. It would just be nice to be able to click a link to take me straight there. Anyone written any, or know of any solutions for this. I use Chrome or Firefox as my browsers of choice, but I'd even consider using IE again if someone found a plugin that did this. Thanks, Max

    I am simply trying to hide a datatip on a chart if the hit data item (yfield item) is == 101 for two differnt series an areaseries and a line series. The following funciton works in IE but throws an error in firefox. What I would like to see here is (1) what production the parser was in when it expected the '"' (I've multiple ones) and (2) where in the input this production started parsing (which is an indicator where the opening quote is in the input). Does anybody know how I can improve the error messages and include more information about the actual internal parsing state when the error happens (perhaps something like a production rule stacktrace or whatever can be given reasonably here to better identify the error location). BTW, the above "line 32, column 1" is actually the EOT position and hence of no use here, of course.

  • How to catch this low level MySQL (?) error in PHP/Magento

    When I'm executing the following statement in Magento with a really large $sku, the execution terminates without any errors thrown what so ever. There are no errors in either Magento's, Apache's or PHP's error logs. Mage::getModel('catalog/product')-loadByAttribute('sku', $sku); Question: How do I catch the error? I've tried to set custom error handlers, and for testing purposes I've also managed to trigger error situations where each of the error handler functions are invoked. But when running the previously mentioned Magento code with a large $sku, none of the error handling functions are executed. error_reporting( -1 ); set_error_handler( array( 'Error', 'captureNormal' ) ); set_exception_handler( array( 'Error', 'captureException' ) ); register_shutdown_function( array( 'Error', 'captureShutdown' ) ); For completeness, this is the $sku I'm passing to loadByAttribute().   • How to make a service not receive messages at certain times

    I'm currently learning wcf for an up and coming project. The service I am creating is using MSMQ to update the database, but the database can't accept messages at certain times. The service is going to be a windows service. The one thing I am coming up against at the moment is how I can get the service to stop reading messages from the queue at these times, for instance lets say I don't want to read messages from the queue on sundays. How would I go about implementing this. So that the client can send messages to the queue that update the database but the service doesn't read the messages until monday, so that the database gets all the updates on the monday? I have started looking at creating a customhost, but I'm not sure if I'm heading in the right direction with this. Thanks in advance.

  • Occasional conversion error using SUM function

    My app uses sql2000 and a select statement it uses will sometimes fail. Once a week or so the select returns the error 'Error Converting data type varchar to numeric' SQL: sum(case when ISNULL(form_prsn_id, -1) = irpd_prsn_id then convert(dec(11,2), case when valu_value = '' then '0' else isnull (valu_value,'0') end)* case when fmdt_deduction_flag = 'Y' then -1 else 1 end else 0 end) as client_sum The valu_value field is a varchar and stores some numeric and some varchar. But including my join and where clause filter it will always select numeric or empty string. When it is failing I can remove the SUM, see the data and know that its numeric. So why would the SUM function sometimes (say 5% of time) fail on data that is numeric. I wonder if SQL somehow "looks ahead" to ensure it could convert to decimal on more than just the rows returned without the sum. Note I have discovered a fix where I include ( where isNumeric(valu_value) = 1 ) Thanks

    Hi everyone, When trying memcache:get, I'll get the following error message back: Message: Memcache::get() [memcache.get]: Server localhost (tcp 11211) failed with: Failed reading line from stream (0) I run a Windows 32bit test environment (XP) and here's how my code looks: function getMulti(array $keys) { $items = $this->memcache->get($keys); return $items; } My memcache servers are two local computers in the LAN that my dev. environment is connected to. Sure, I can turn the error logging off or just put an @ before the get function call, but that doesnt solve this issue. What can I do? Thanks a lot!

    I happened to fire up Console.app today and found lots of these messages in the log: 13/12/2011 22:54:09.291 de.devolo.networkservice: [pktifc] write: Device not configured They are being generated 8 times every 5-second interval. My network is setup as shown in the attached diagram where there are two Devolo powerline network adapters connecting the wireless access point upstairs to my modem/wifi access point/dhcp server device downstairs. I want to know what these messages mean, whether they are a problem and if so, how to solve it.

  • Flush all messages in mailbox from Zimbra to another server

    I have a primary Dovecot + Postfix mail server and a secondary Zimbra 8.0.1 server. The primary server went down for a week and all the incoming messages were delivered to the secondary server which has configured a "catch all" account. Now that the primary server is back online, I'd like to flush all messages on the "catch all" mailbox to the primary server for appropriate delivery to the corresponding user mailbox (and its own rules). Is that possible?
