    Do I need a infinite key with fbml facebook app that resides on fanpage? I am asking user to select user and posting it(facebook posts) to my server. On my server I want to get user_id and selected friends Id. Everything is fine with selected friend_ids, but have issues with getting id of a user. sometimes I can get it all fine, sometimes I am getting session expired exception, sometimes I get nothing. any ideas why this is happening?

I use the command: $user_id = $facebook-require_login(); To get the userid, but at the first few pages of my app I don't want to require login, but if the user's logged in, I'd like to know what the userid is. Basically I need a "get_login()" command that perhaps returns 0 or null if the user is not logged in. Is there anything like that?

    Hi everyone, I am developing a Facebook page for my web design/development business, and I've noticed that the page I have created has the tabs aligned to the left hand side of the page underneath the page image. I then look at other pages such as Wetherspoons and Porsche and their tabs are aligned to the top of the page. Why is it like this?     New to Linux and having minor issues :/ . I followed this guide initially but did not recieve the proper output and did not show my ATI Radeon HD 5000 temp or fan speed. Then used this guide, same problems exhibited. No issues installing and no errors. I think its not reading i2c for some reason. The proprietary driver is installed and functioning correctly according fglrxinfo. I can use aticonfig commands and view both temp and fan. Any ideas on how to get it working under 'sensors'?   • Dell N7110 i7 overheats and doesn't boot when anything is plugged into the USB3 port

    When i plug in any devices (mouse, keyboard) into usb 3.0 system dell n7110 overheats and fan goes crazy with terrible noise. So i'm using 1 usb 2.0 slot now with a usb hub. It doesn't solve the problem completely but system stays at a low fan rate for a longer time. I've tried to lower CPU frequency, but in my case (DELL INSPIRON N7110 i7 on Linux 3.0.0-14-generic #23-Ubuntu SMP Mon Nov 21 20:28:43 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux) CPU was pretty cool (51 C) and still the same horrible fan noise. Looks like there is no such problems with ubuntu 10.04 (but there're some other problems). Ubuntu even doesn't boot if anything is plugged into usb 3.0

    Hi, I am trying to publish to a users stream when they click a share button in my flash app that i have living in a tab on a fan fan. I basically have my swf embedded on a page that has a java script function that calls the facebook share dialogue.     Im relatively new at Ubuntu and have found an answer to basically every single issue ive ever had thru this site... Otherthan this. I have been toying with the idea of a Corsair h80i for my dual boot system (win7/U12.10) and mostly use it in ubuntu. I have done some research on the interweb regarding fan control in linux and nearly ran up short untill I came across this thread: http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-2096166.html And it seems to have worked around it. (altho I have not tested it for myself) Is there any program/library/source that can be used to control the fans without having to MacGuyver it??

  • Low-res emacs24 icon in application switcher 12.10

    I recently upgraded to Quantal, and also switched up to emacs24 from 23. Everything is great, except for one thing: the icon in the Application Switcher for emacs24 is a horrible, low-resolution eyesore. Compare the two side-by-side: I've seen a couple of questions addressing issues like this, but they're not quite the same. This one says that it is happening with all icons, but that's clearly not the case here. And this one seems more relevant, but it is talking about Gnome, not Unity. In the comments to the one answer for the second question, it says to look at the icons in /usr/share/icons to see if they are low-resolution, and if so to replace them with better ones. There's a ton of emacs icons, in fact. They are in various subfolders of /usr/share/icons/hicolor and they are in sizes ranging from 16x16 to 128x128, and also there are scaleable .svg versions of the icons too. I noticed that there are no 192x192 or 256x256 versions. But it seems like that shouldn't matter, since emacs23 also didn't have icons in those sizes. Any help would be much appreciated!

  • Facebook Error: "The client token cannot be used for this API" - works on DEV and STAGE but not on LIVE app?

    I've built a notification sending system that sends notifications to all users of our app, using the app access token. This system is currently running on my localhost. When I configure it with the appid and appsecret for my dev and stage environments, it works fine. But when I put in the appid and appsecret of the LIVE app, I get this error: {"message":"The client token cannot be used for this API", "type":"OAuthException", "code":190} So what's different between dev and live? Dev and Stage are in sandbox mode, Live is not. So I tried disabling sandbox mode on Dev/Stage and they continue to function fine. Dev works fine, Stage works fine, Live gives this error. All other code is the same except for the appid, appsecret, and redirect_uri (changing it to match the domain of each environment). I have checked this post, but unfortunately resetting our appsecret on a site with 1,000,000 users is not something we can do at the moment (too much other functionality relies on it).

  • How can I use the proxy settings on Epic privacy browser to log on to Facebook?

    I love the Epic privacy browser because it is built from the ground up to enhance privacy. It's built on Chromium but because it has stripped out all code that tracks users across the Internet, pages load faster and things work snappier. With one click you can enable a proxy to hide your IP address, sort of like Chrome's "Incognito" mode on steroids. But there's a problem: if I load Epic, go to facebook.com, log in, and then click the proxy button, I can use Facebook for a while. But eventually, Facebook would throw up an error screen, saying that it thinks that my account has been hacked, and then it would make me verify my identity, force me to change my password, etc. I've had to change my password four times in as many days, which is very annoying. Now I turn on the proxy for browsing on to every other site but Facebook. Question: how can I use the proxy settings on Epic privacy browser to successfully log onto and use Facebook?
