    I have a simple piece of HTML <p id="skills">Skills</p> in Firefox 3.6.3 when I call (with JQuery): $("#skills")[0].innerHTML = "some new text" Firefox renders it as <p id="skills"><a xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">some new text</a></p> Where in the world is that link coming from?? (note the same thing happens by calling $("#skills").html("some new text") with JQuery)

I've been told that Flash will quite happily handle such content however I have no experience with Flash nor do I have access to Adobe Creative Suite.     hi, I came accross something very strange when i was testing my pages in FireFox. The Adsense blocks are commented out (green) in firefox. It does render however properly when i paste all the rendered code in a blank aspx page in the same project without using masterpage. http://picpaste.com/problem.jpg Here's a picture of the problem. As you can see on one of the pages the script code is green. How is that possible?

Ideally I would like the output to be returned as a response when the client sends a request to the server socket with a passphrase. How do I go about doing that? Is doing this a good idea? Does it create security vulnerabilities on the computer? How can I block connections to the socket from other computers? What is a good place to read about javascript sockets? My google searches have been pretty fruitless but then maybe I'm not using the right keywords.
