• Setting the Classpath and Accessing code from book: Programming Clojure

  (I posted this same question on the Clojure list but haven't got an answer yet. Is anyone here ready to help?) I am going through Programming Clojure and I recently downloaded the code from the books official website. For other utils I can do, for example, (require 'clojure.contrib.str-utils) and it works. But how do I load code from the book? • When programatically creating a new IIS web site, how can I add it to an existing application pool?

  I have successfully automated the process of creating a new IIS website, however the code I've written doesn't care about application pools, it just gets added to DefaultAppPool. However I'd like to add this newly created site to an existing application pool. • Ninject woes... 404 error problems

  We are using the beloved Ninject+Ninject.Web.Mvc with MVC 2 and are running into some problems. Specifically dealing with 404 errors. We have a logging service that logs 500 errors and records them. Everything is chugging along just perfectly except for when we attempt to enter a non-existent controller.   Hi, I'm having trouble using a tab bar control. Basically, when I build and run I'm just getting the blank white default "Window" screen. I was following this guide: http://www.iphoneosdevcafe.com/2010/03/assignment-4-part-1/#comment-36 Drag a Tab Bar Controller from the Library to MainWindow.xib. Control drag from the App Delegate to the Tab Bar Controller. Drag a Navigation Controller from the Library to MainWindow.xib. Control drag from the App Delegate to the Navigation Controller. Drag a second Navigation Controller from the Library to MainWindow.xib. Control drag from the App Delegate to the Navigation Controller. This completes all the connections between the App Delegate and the tab bar and two navigation controllers. By using IB to set up the tab bar and navigation controllers in this way, you need not allocate and init the controllers in AppDelegate.m. When you build and run this, you will see the tab bar controller and two navigation controllers. Is there a step there that he missed? How do I hook the Tab Bar Controller up to the Window? EDIT: Do I need to do something like this? mainTabBar = [[UITabBarController alloc] init]; [window addSubview:mainTabBar.view]; That's still not working, but I feel like I'm on the right track? Why can't this all be done from Interface Builder?

• Efficient Multiple Linear Regression in C# / .Net

  Does anyone know of an efficient way to do multiple linear regression in C#, where the number of simultaneous equations may be in the 1000's (with 3 or 4 different inputs). After reading this article on multiple linear regression I tried implementing it with a matrix equation: Matrix y = new Matrix( new double[,]{{745}, {895}, {442}, {440}, {1598}}); Matrix x = new Matrix( new double[,]{{1, 36, 66}, {1, 37, 68}, {1, 47, 64}, {1, 32, 53}, {1, 1, 101}}); Matrix b = (x.Transpose() * x).Inverse() * x.Transpose() * y; for (int i = 0; i < b.Rows; i++) { Trace.WriteLine("INFO: " + b[i, 0].ToDouble()); } However it does not scale well to the scale of 1000's of equations due to the matrix inversion operation. I can call the R language and use that, however I was hoping there would be a pure .Net solution which will scale to these large sets. Any suggestions? EDIT #1: I have settled using R for the time being. By using statconn (downloaded here) I have found it to be both fast & relatively easy to use this method. Aren't GLib collections implement a way to be freed ?

I have an app that runs without problems on the device in Debug Configuration (also multiple times). Once I put it into Release Configuration (which I need before publishing?), the app starts without problems and I can proceed to the next page, where I show an core-plot graph. BUT only if I run it from xcode. As soon as I end the App and start it again, it opens without problems, but on the next page, it crashes. • Images missing after moving Django to new server

  I'm moving Django project to new server. I'm newbie in Django, and I don't know where should be upload folder. There are all images which should be displayed on website. In config file I haven't seen upload folder I could specify, so I'm guessing it always should be the same location for django projects or I just can't find it. Locations are saved in database. When I've put uploaded files into media folder, so url was like domain.co.uk/media/upload/media/images/year/month/day/image_name.ext and the same is on the old website, images on website ware still missing. All images are visible if I put url by hand, but django doesn't seems to see files.   I am writing a flex application that involves modifying a textarea very frequently. I have encountered issues with the textarea sometimes not displaying my modifications. The single-threaded nature of flex and disabling user input for the textarea when I make modifications should prevent this from happening, but for some reason this doesn't seem to be working. I must note too that, when running the timer at larger intervals (around 100ms) it seems to work perfectly, so I am tempted to think it's some kind of synchronization issue in the internals of the flex framework. Any ideas on what could be causing the problem?

This works perfectly on my 32-bit dev server [unfortunately, I can't ship my machine :-p ].
