    I an trying to put a method in a separate thread in the background. It nearly works except that occasionally I get a lot of error messages with the message METHODCLOSURE: OH NO SEPERATE THREAD with the bad spelling and all. Does anyone know what this means?

    If I want to trigger an error in my interpreter I call this function: Error( ErrorType type, ErrorSeverity severity, const char* msg, int line ); However, with that I can only output Name error: Undefined variable in line 1 instead of Name error: Undefined variable 'someVariableName' in line 1 I'm working entirely with strings (except for the error messages as they all are constant at the moment), so sprintf won't work. What is the best way to create an efficient error function that can output a constant message combined with a string that describes which object, e.g.: a non-existing variable, triggered the error?

    I have VS 2010 and Word 2010. In Word 2010 there is sometimes a message/warning bar that pops up under the ribbon but above the body of the document that allows the user to do an action. It looks something like this... Can I programmatically though VSTO or Interop create a custom bar that allows the user to click a button and then it executes some code.     Hi all, I have some files that in windows enable me to prompt messages when a device is plugged. In case it is lost it pops up a message that says the user to please return it to he owner. Does anybody know how can I do this in Linux? I doesnt need to be a complex thing, it can be an option in a right clic menu, or a splashcreen, or anything, just to make sure that the owner of the device may be looking for it.

    When I run some php code I've written, I get the following message: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'condition, price, name, email) VALUES('Fake Title', 'Fake Subhead', 'Fake Author' at line 1 I do not see anything wrong with my syntax, however, which is like: mysql_query("INSERT INTO table (x1, x2, x3) VALUES('$y1', '$y2', '$y3')"); Any ideas?
