  • What font and size is used in Windows 7 File Explorer Tree

    I am having a hard time to find out which font is used by the Win 7 File Explorer in the tree view on the left hand side. Better, of course, would be if I can programmatically find out which the right font is (C#). I searched the Windows 7 design guidelines but this particular scenario is not listed (at least I couldn't find it). So anyone good with fonts?

    When trying to import scala.Option in a javafx script, I get the following javafxc error: bad class file: scala/Option$$anonfun$orNull$1.class(scala:Option$$anonfun$orNull$1.class) undeclared type variable: A1 Please remove or make sure it appears in the correct subdirectory of the classpath. import scala.Option; ^ I am using Scala 2.8.0-RC1, Javafxc 1.2.3_b36, JVM 1.6.0_18-b07, OS Ubuntu 9.10. The same code was working in Scala 2.7.7 .

    I am trying to use the Sunlight API gem with a Rails project. I have installed the gem and can successfully use it from irb. However, when I put the require statement (require 'sunlight') in sunlight.rb in config/initializers, I get the following error: /opt/local/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/activesupport-3.0.0.beta3/lib/active_support/dependencies.rb:209:in `require': no such file to load -- sunlight (LoadError) I checked the permissions on the gems directory, and it is world readable/executable.     I have figured out how to remove bad files in my folders but I am wanting to know how to add certain named files to that folder. I want to add something like address.xml I have this and can remove the bad files. for addxml in $(find $DIRECTORY/$directoryname -name address.xml); do rm -v $addxml done I am trying to learn how later down the code I can add a file from another folder no where near the folders that are being edited.

    My .git file has grown to 229Mb and I wondering what the best way to cut down the size is. I know about git gc and have been using it a fair amount. I'm not totally sure about how git works, but I know that there is packaged information in there that I no longer need. Like, I know I no longer need the first five branches saved. Is there a way to completely erase really old branches or commits or something like that?

    I have an ASP.NET project which has already some custom fields in it's web.config file. I've added in it three more fields and used them in my changes, and it's working great. But where it needs to be used, there aren't these thre fields in the web.config (this was expected, I've just added by hand for tests and developing). How do I check the existance of fields in web.config, and in case of not finding it, how do I add it permanently to the web.config ? Thank you

  • How can I display different icons for same file extension

    Visual Studio has *.SLN files for 2008, and 2010. In explorer, the icon associated with the file is based on the version somehow. I was always under the impression that the associated icon just looked at the extension, but obviously there is more going on. I'm asking on stack overflow as a developer - for my application, but if you feel this belongs on another forum, I'm happy to move the discussion elsewhere. Thank you!
