    We had the same problem described here. we implemented the same solution of having a dependency on HTTPFilter. We recently tried to install on Windows 2008 - it appears the HTTPFilter service is not available there, so our service will not start. What should we do on Windows 2008?     Given the following function: def foo(a, b, c): pass How would one obtain a list/tuple/dict/etc of the arguments passed in? Specifically, I'm looking for Python's version of JavaScript's arguments keyword or PHP's func_get_args() method. What I'm not looking for is a solution using *args or **kwargs; I need to specify the argument names in the function definition (to ensure they're being passed in) but within the function I want to work with them in a list- or dict-style structure.

    I am trying to find the difference in time (without days/years/months) of two different days. Example: #ruby >1.9 time1 = Time.now - 1.day time2 = Time.now #code to make changes #test: time1 == time2 # TRUE My solution: time1 = time1.strftime("%h:%m").to_time time2 = time2.strftime("%h:%m").to_time #test time1 == time2 #True #passes I was wondering if there was a better way of doing this? Maybe we could keep the Date the same as time1/time2?

As I research Robotium works with a different Virtual Machine (Dalvik) so I cannot run as Junit Test (Only with Android Junit Test).   • Is it possible to make the iPhone keyboard invisible / remove it without resigning first responder?

    I am looking for a way to show my own input view (a UITableView) to enter certain keywords in a UITextView faster than typing them, and also be able to type into this text view the normal way. My solution has a button that causes the keyboard to disappear, revealing the table view underneath it. Problem is I can't figure out how to make the keyboard go away without resigning first responder, and losing the cursor. Has anyone accomplished this before? Thanks for any help.

    Using Actionscript 3 is there a way to search one bitmap for the coordinates matching pixels of another bitmap? http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1914/wired.png Somehow you would have to loop through the bigger bitmap to find and the the pixel range that matches and return those coordinates. For example the Bitmap with the "E" is 250 pixels over and 14 pixels down in the bigger bitmap. I haven't been able to come up with the solution on my own. Thanks.

    How do I kill a process which is running in bash - for example, suppose I open a file: $ gedit file.txt is there any way within the command prompt to close it? This example is fairly trivial, since I could just close the window, but it seems to come up a bit, particularly when I mistype commands. Also is there any way to escape an executable which is running? This probably has the same solution, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Thanks
