• SOAPUI Extract data from SOAP Response and use in REST request

  I have been looking at the answer to this question: Pulling details from response to new request SoapUI which is similar to what I am looking for but I can't get it to work. I have a small SOAPUI testsuite and I need to extract a value from the response of a SOAP request and then use this value in a subsequent REST request. The response to my SOAP request is: <ns0:session xmlns:ns0="http://www.someurl.com/la/la/v1_0"> <token>AQIC5wM2xAAIwMg==#</token> </ns0:session> so I need the token to use in my REST request. I know it involves using Property Transfer and some XPath / XQuery but I just can't get it right. At the moment my property transfer window points to Source: SOAP test Property: Response and has data(/session/token/text()) in the text box. In target it has Target: REST testcase Property: newProp and I have Use XQuery checked. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks, Adrian

• Why does embeded vimeo video keeps on flickering?

  Look here: http://mashinaizec.com/mons-2 When you click on some image, fancybox comes in and display that image and put overlay above entire page. What also happens is that vimeo video on the right keeps refreshing preview image whenever i click on any image in gallery. Also, if you scroll the window to the bottom and them click on, for example, on the bottom left image, overlay shoots in, image is there but see that little X in the top right corner of the image? It is not displayed as it should. Any idea what to do?

  I have been using UIViewControllers and initWithNibName with much success, basically using them as a convenient way to design the view with Interface Builder. Unfortunately I have built a hierarchy of views before noticing this line in the UIViewController documentation: Note: You should not use view controllers to manage views that fill only a part of their window My question is this: Having a very simple NIB that only has a UIView in addition to the default First Responder and Owning Object, what is the simplest way to load the UIView into my code? I have not been able to get loadNibNamed:owner:options: to work at this point, but suspect the answer will involve it somehow.

  I want to select and group the products, and rank them by the number of times they occur. For example, I have an OrderList each of order object has a OrderProductVariantList(OrderLineList), and each of OrderProductVariant object has ProductVariant, and then the ProductVariant object will have a Product object which contains product information. A friend helped me with the following code. It could be compiled, but it did not return any value/result.   Hi, I want to attach a function to a jQuery element that fires whenever the element is added to the page. I've tried the following, but it didn't work: var el = jQuery('<h1>HI HI HI</H1>'); el.one('load', function(e) { window.alert('loaded'); }); jQuery('body').append(el); What I really want to do is to guarantee that another jQuery function that is expecting some #id to be at the page don't fail, so I want to call that function whenever my element is loaded in the page. To clarify, I am passing the el element to another library (in this case it's a movie player but it could be anything else) and I want to know when the el element is being added to the page, whether its my movie player code that it is adding the element or anyting else.

• Android - How to tell is someone has pressed a SPINNER but not changed the visible item in it.

  I have a spinner, which mostly works. If a user selects one of the items in it, the 'onItemSelected' routine catches it just fine. But if a user clicks the same spinner, but does not change from the already visible item that it's currently displaying, the 'onItemSelected' routine just ignores it, and the logs show:- WARN/InputManagerService(577): Window already focused, ignoring focus gain of: com.android.internal.view.IInputMethodClient$Stub$Proxy@437948b0 I there anyway to capture someone doing this? The idea is that my spinner contains a list of names, and when a user selects one from the spinner, it gets added to a listview. I could just add another button to get the name from the spinner, but, screen-space is already lacking and I'd rather not add anymore content.

  I want to use wxHaskell on OS X (Snow Leopard, MacBook Pro). I was able to install the library successfully and the script below: module Main where import Graphics.UI.WX main :: IO () main = start hello hello :: IO () hello = do f <- frame [text := "Hello!"] quit <- button f [text := "Quit", on command := close f] set f [layout := widget quit] does result in a window being displayed with a single button, as specified. However, nothing happens when I click the button - I don't even get the visual response of the button turning blue to indicate that it's been depressed (haha, no pun intended). I've heard that you have to run a package called "macosx-app" on wxHaskell binaries to get them to run, but I can't find this anywhere. It's not on my machine or (as far as I can tell) in the WX or wxHaskell distros. Anyone know what I need to do to get this to work?

  I recently upgraded a C# project from .NET 3.5 to .NET 4. I have a method that extracts all MSTest test methods from a given list of MethodBase instances. Its body looks like this: return null == methods || methods.Count() == 0 ? null : from method in methods let testAttribute = Attribute.GetCustomAttribute(method, typeof(TestMethodAttribute)) where null != testAttribute select method; This worked in .NET 3.5, but since upgrading my projects to .NET 4, this code always returns an empty list, even when given a list of methods containing a method that is marked with [TestMethod]. Did something change with custom attributes in .NET 4? Debugging, I found that the results of GetCustomAttributesData() on the test method gives a list of two CustomAttributeData which are described in Visual Studio 2010's 'Locals' window as: Microsoft.VisualStudio.TestTools.UnitTesting.DeploymentItemAttribute("myDLL.dll") Microsoft.VisualStudio.TestTools.UnitTesting.TestMethodAttribute() -- this is what I'm looking for When I call GetType() on that second CustomAttributeData instance, however, I get {Name = "CustomAttributeData" FullName = "System.Reflection.CustomAttributeData"} System.Type {System.RuntimeType}. How can I get TestMethodAttribute out of the CustomAttributeData, so that I can extract test methods from a list of MethodBases?

  Hi For my web application, I want a 10*10 (100 cells which is created dynamically) grid to be displayed in the following manner. 0) Initially all the cells' color is green. 1) If i click on any cell its color becomes red if it is green and if i click again it becomes red.(Toggle the cell color) 2) I should be able to display dynamic number of link buttons in each cell.On the click of which it pop ups a window. Are there any control available for this? Or how can i implement this functionality. I am using ASP.net 3.5.

• Reducing time in C# Forms Control.set_Text(string) function

  Hoping for a quick answer (which SO seems to be pretty good for)... I just ran a performance analysis with VS2010 on my app, and it turns out that I'm spending about 20% of my time in the Control.set_Text(string) function, as I'm updating labels in quite a few places in my app. The window has a timer object (Forms timer, not Threading timer) that has a timer1_Tick callback, which updates one label every tick (to give a stop-watch sort of effect), and updates about 15 labels once each second. Does anyone have quick suggestions for how to reduce the amount of time spent updating text on a form, other than increasing the update interval? Are there other structures or functions I should be using?

• How to use a CTabCtrl in a MFC dialog based application ?

  I need to do something which i expected to be was simple - create a tab control which has 2 tabs, implying 2 modes of operation for my app. When user clicks on Tab1, he'll be presented with some buttons and textboxes, and when he clicks Tab2, some other input method. I noticed that there was a CTabCtrl class thats used in MFC to add tabs. However, once I added the tab ctrl using the UI designer, I couldn't specify how many tabs there'll be using property window. Searching on the net, I found some examples but all of them required you to derive from CtabCtrl , create 2 or more child dialogs etc and to write your own custom class. My question is, since I want to do something so basic, why couldn't I do it using the familiar Add Event handler/Add member variable wizard and then handle everything else inside my app's class ? Surely, the default CTabCtrl class can do something useful without needing to derive from it ?

• Why does Tomcat 6 hang when I shut it down?

  I have Tomcat 6.0.24 64 bit installed on two Windows Server 2008 boxes as a Window's service. I use the Tomcat Monitor application to start and stop Tomcat. Randomly on both boxes, the server will not shutdown when the Stop Service option is selected. Both Start Service and Stop Service remain grayed out until I open a task manager and kill tomcat6.exe. This also happens with Tomcat 6.0.20 installed on these boxes, however it does not happen on my 32 bit Windows 7 machine. What is causing this?

  I have a problem with my Google Maps API key. I get an alert saying "This web site needs a different Google Maps API key." When I prees OK to the alert the map are loading and working fine. The same problem is already posted: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1803327/google-maps-api-key-not-working I have tried to request the API key for both "http://www.domain.com" and "http://domain.com" but I still get the alert. When I follow the instructions from their FQA and use alert(window.location.host) I get www.domain.com but the api key generator will only accept the domain if the prefix is http:// Does anyone have a solution to this?

• Why is the CoreData stack in XCode's CoreData enabled template treated as private?

  In regards to XCode templates with CoreData enabled, I've read http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2729055/unclear-use-of-property-in-window-app-using-core-data which goes over the 'what' in the templates. But I am having an issue with the 'why'. By declaring the category in the implementation file, the CoreData accessors act like private methods. The problem with that is whenever you want to use CoreData elsewhere in your app, you need some extra code. I've figured you need to either supply your own method that exposes the managed object context, such as... - (NSManagedObjectContext *)getManagedObjectContext { return self.managedObjectContext; } ...which will allow other parts of your app to use it. Or you would need to jam pack your app delegate with specific methods to return managed objects, ie getProducts or setUser. Can anyone shed light on the reasoning here?

• How to setup Xcode 3.1.4 with Perforce ?

  Hi everyone, I've been trying to setup Xcode with Perforce for about 7 hours now and managed to get the Perforce Repository Authenticated within Xcode. The problem I have is, within the repositories window, I don't see any directories for me to check out. I can see the p4root login and client are ok with the tick on the repository log. When I try to Import an xcode project directory within the Perforce root directory- the import fails with '/Users/jackson/p4root/alpha/MessageTapper' is not under the Perforce root. I have p4d running on the local machine, and have created a user and workspace. The workspace has the directories in view. I'm hoping for someone to give me some direction or maybe point me to a good reference to how to set perforce up with xcode. Thanks!

  Hello, I want to create a footer like facebook, that sticks at the bottom of the page, irrespective of the scroll. <div id="footer"></div> and here is the css style #footer{ position:absolute; left:0px; margin-bottom:0px; vertical-align:bottom; bottom:0px; width:100%; height:25px; background-color:#dfd5d7; overflow:hidden; } It comes fine, when I resize the browser window it does not stick to the bottom but a about 50 pixels up. • Is it possible to take a screenshot of a web page with Javascript or HTML5/Canvas?

  Is there a way I could insert some code into a page that would take a screenshot of what the user sees in the browser window, then upload that image via a web form of some sort? I'm working on a clone of a pay-to-use service that lets you install a widget on a web page which in turn allows viewers to report bugs in the sites layout. Currently they use a Java applet to take the screenshot, which, in my opinion, is probably the worst way to go about it (aside from requiring the user to install a plugin) Is there a javascript/flash/other alternative? • webOS style view switching on iPhone app

  Hello, I have been working with a iPhone app that I would like to have switch views like the Palm Pre does for multitasking. I know the usual way of switching views by using the black bar at the bottom of the app but the app I am working on does not lend itself to having a big black bar in the way (see attached picture #1). I guess my question is, how do I shrink the current view (Current Location window) and show other views on the sides? (see attached picture #2) Then be able to swipe left and right to view other views. • Really new to XCode. Why won't the thing run?

  Hi, I'm trying to follow the April 2009 and Winter 2010 Stanford iPhone app development videos and I'm running up against the same problems with both. First, they don't appear to be using the latest version of XCode - the Outlets and Actions panels are in a different window and there is little info on the net about this (other than one other post on S.O.F.) Second, having got to the point where I've managed to connect the slider, label and changedLabelText connections, I save, build and run the app - the simulator loads, the app loads and then promptly closes again. What's going on? I have not written any code yet and I still have an app which, while it compiles, does not behave! Is there a better starting point for an XCode noob than the Stanford vids? • Close Flash Player from FlashDevelop IDE

  Whenever I compile my project using FlashDevelop in 'Debug' the Flash Player window remains after I have clicked the 'Stop' button in Flash Develop. I have to then switch over to the flash player, click through any error messages and then close the player, which wastes a lot of time in the long run. Any way to make it so Flash Player closes when I click 'Stop' in the Flash Develop debug tools? EDIT: My setup is a fresh install of Windows 7, a new copy of Flash Develop 4 and Flash Player 10. The code here basically receives the echo from the PHP and then puts it in element id games. My question is, if I wanted to have AJAX send 3 different http requests to 3 different PHP scripts and if I wanted to retrieve data from each one and then put it in 3 different element id's then would I make 3 copies of this same function? I would imagine that there should be a more efficient way. Thanks!
