• Github file size limit changed 6/18/13. Can't push now

  How does this change as of June 18, 2013 affect my existing repository with a file that exceeds that limit? I last pushed 2 months ago with a large file. I have a large file that I have removed locally but I can not push anything now. I get a "remote error" ... remote: error: File cron_log.log is 126.91 MB; this exceeds GitHub's file size limit of 100 MB I added the file to .gitignore after original push... • AMQP gem specifying a dead letter exchange

  I've specified a queue on the RabbitMQ server called MyQueue. It is durable and has x-dead-letter-exchange set to MyQueue.DLX. • Asp.net web forms, Asp Identity - how to store claims from Facebook, Twitter, etc

  This request is based upon the new Visual Studio 2013 integration of Asp.net Identity stuff. I have seen some of the posts regarding this question for MVC, but for the life of me cannot get it to work for standard Web Forms. What I'm trying to do is populate the AspNetUserClaims table from the claims that I get back from Facebook (or other service). I actually can see the values coming back in the OnAuthenticated below, but cannot for the life of me figure out how to add these claims to the context of the currently logged in user? There are literally hundreds of MVC examples surrounding this, but alas no Web Forms examples. This should be completely straightforward, but for some reason I cannot match up the context of the currently logged in user to the claims and credentials coming back from Facebook. Currently after the OnAuthenticated fires, it obviously returns me to the page (RegisterExternalLogin.aspx) as the built-in example provides. However, the claims are gone, the context of the login to Facebook is gone, and I can't do anything else at this point.   I'm calling in a RSS feed to my website using PHP. Currently my code below is calling in the entire contents for pubDate: <pubDate>Thu, 12 Sep 2013 07:23:59 +0000</pubDate> How do I just display the day and month from the above example i.e. 12 Sep? EDIT I should clarify, the above line of code is an example output I currently get but as I'm calling the latest 3 posts from an RSS feed, this date and time will vary. I therefore need the code to be more dynamic (if that's the right term!)   I'm using the Net-SNMP bindings for python and I'm attempting to grab an ARP cache from a Brocade switch.   I'm hesitant to ask because I'm sure it's out there, but I just can't seem to come up with the keywords to find the answer. I'm stepping outside my boundaries by starting with subqueries (normally an Access user). In the past I would cheat and have a separate query that first gave me the TECH_ID and max SEQ_NUM, and then have a second query that use the original table and the first query in a join to get the rest. How can I do this in one query? Example: TECH_ID SEQ_NUM PELL 1 1 4000 1 2 4000 1 3 5000 Using just the max of the sequence number still returns: 1; 2; 4000 and 1; 3; 5000 when I'm only wanting the latter.

• Grabbing rows from MySql where current date is in between start date and end date (Check if current date lies between start date and end date)

  I'm trying to select from the database to get the "campaigns" that dates fall into the month. So far i've been successful in grabbing rows that starts or ends inside the current month. What I need to do now is select rows that start in one month and ends a few months down the line ( EG: It's the 3rd month in the year, and there's a "campaign" that runs from the 1st month until the 5th. other example There is a "campaign" that runs from 2012 until 2013 ) I'm hoping there is some way to select via MySql all rows in which a capaign may run. If not should I grab all data in the database and only show the ones that run via the current month. I have already made a function that displays all the days inbetween each date inside an array, which is called "dateRange". I've also created another which shows how many days the campaign runs for called "runTime".   From October 1st to March 31 the fee is $1 (season 1). From April 1st to September 30 the fee is $2 (season 2). How can I calculate the total fee of a given date range (user input) depending on how many days of this date range fall into season 1 and season 2? There must be a better solution than iterating if/else and comparing dates over and over again for the following conditions: Date range is completely within season 1 Date range starts in season 1 and ends in season 2 Date range starts in season 1, spans across season 2 and ends in the second part of season 1 ... and so forth with "Starts in season 2", etc

  I'm wanting to make a small python program for yearly temperatures. I can get nearly everything working in the standard console but I'm wanting to implement it into a GUI. The program opens a csv file reads it into lists, works out the average, and min & max temps. Then on closing the application will save a summary to a new text file. I am wanting the default start up screen to show All Years. When a button is clicked it just shows that year's data. Here is a what I want it to look like. Pretty simple layout with just the 5 buttons and the out puts for each. • Debugging Post Request with Chrome Dev Tools

  I am trying to use Chrome Dev for debugging the following Angular post request : $http.post("http://picjboss.puma.lan:8880/fluxpousse/api/flow/createOrUpdateHeader", flowHeader) After running the statement with right-click / evaluate, I can see the post in the network panel with a pending state. How can I get the result or "commit" the request and leave easily this "pending" state from the dev console ? I am not yet very familiar with JS callbacks, some code is expected. Thanks. • HTML email image inverts on link click Outlook 07/10/13

  I'm having an issue on a HTML email in Word rendered Outlooks (2007, 2010, 2013) where I click an image link, and when the mouse is clicked, the image inverts... Here is the code below... <td align="left" width="360" valign="top" style="mso-table-lspace: 0pt; mso-table-rspace: 0pt; border-collapse: collapse;" class="hide"> <a href="#" target="_blank"> <img src="test.jpg" width="360" height="528" alt="alt tag" style="display:block;" class="img_mob centertable" border="0" align="left"> </a> </td> Here is a comparison on the image clicked/not clicked... I have tried putting a text-decoration: none on the link. All the links are styled inline as well. This is the only image that it is having this issue on the email, so tried re-saving the image with no luck. The image is saved as a JPEG and SRGB from a Photoshop PSD. Any ideas? Thanks.

  I'm new to C++, coming from a Java and web programming background. I specified a header file, with class definition. The class and the namespace have the same name. I do not know if that causes this issue, eclipse is very unspecific. The only thing eclipse shows is: class World::World I have been googling for the last day and a half, and haven't found anything similar. • Display latest date from a HTML attribute

  I currently have several classes which contain a date inside an attribute. <div id="container"> <div class="date" date="19/11/2013"></div> <div class="date" date="06/11/2013"></div> </div> <div id="result"></div> What I would like to do, is find the latest date and display it on the page. So far, I've found the information in the attribute, checked that it doesn't exist in the array then and pushed it into an array. • MySQL problem reconnecting (mysqld.exe) keeps giving error...

  Need some guidance figuring out what went wrong. I've been using mysql, phpmyadmin for just under a year on my home computer while I develop a webapp. 3 days ago I updated my windows vista with all the "wonderful" microsoft updates, security patches, etc...and now it's broke. I tried uninstalling all the upgrades, but there are 4 of them I can't unistall because microsoft says their "operating system" updates and can't be unistalled. My system is: windows vista, php 5+, mysql 5.1, Apache 2+. I can run my web app and it queries the database without any problems. However, when I run phpmyadmin to get into the database I get an error: "mysqld.exe has stopped working" and phpmyadmin crashes. I tried going to the command line for mysql to do a mysqldump to backup my database and it gives me an error "2013, could not connect to the server". If I restart the computer the webapp will work again. Basically, php can query the database, but if I try to get at the database through phpmyadmin, or the command prompt the mysqld.exe error occurs and blows mysql out. Any ideas what's going on here? Any ideas how to get around this to backup the db, so I can reinstall mysql?. I'm really lost where to start. I don't really know if the updates caused the problem, or if the 4 updates that can't be unistalled are really the problem. Any tips will be appreciated. thanks.

The code should be outputting the array (same as the input) under the Read#1 Read#2 Read#3 lines, with the average under average. • How do I parse data received in a memorystream?

  I'm new to using sockets. I have a very basic client that sends a request, and waits for a response. The response is one stream, but has two parts. The first part is prefixed with ANS and is a set of key/value pairs in this form: KEY:Value with each pair on a separate line. The second part of the response is prefixed by RCT and this is pre-formatted text that needs to be send directly to a printer. So what would be the best way to extract both parts of the response, and in the first part, get each Key:Value pair. I might not even need them all, but I have to look at each one to see what the values are then decide what to do with it. I'm currently writing the response out to a textbox just to understand what its doing, but now I need to actually do something with the data. • Cannot translate date formats from rails form to mysql db

  I have a simple search form in rails 3 that has two date fields. I'm having a problem getting these dates into my mysql db. I've tried using the american_date gem, specifying date formats in my initializers, in the config/locales/en.yml file, and directly on the date on the date fields themselves. Currently, I'm setting the rails-approved date format in the view - <%= f.text_field :depart_date, :value=> Date.today.strftime('%Y-%m-%d') %> The dateformat in my DB is also YYYY-mm-dd, so things should be going smoothly. The console tells me that the two date fields are both class = "Date" I think I've found the disconnect. • Mounting NAS drive with cifs using credentials file through fstab does not work

  I can mount the drive in the following way, no problem there: mount -t cifs //nas/home /mnt/nas -o username=username,password=pass\!word,uid=1000,gid=100,rw,suid However if I try to mount it via fstab I get the following error: //nas/home /mnt/nas cifs iocharset=utf8,credentials=/home/username/.smbcredentials,uid=1000,gid=100 0 0 auto .smbcredentials file looks like this: username=username password=pass\!word Note the ! in my password ... which I am escaping in both instances I also made sure there are no eol in the file using :set noeol binary from Mount CIFS Credentials File has Special Character chmod on .credentials file is 0600 and chown is root:root file is under ~/ Why am I getting in on the one side and not with fstab?? I am running on ubuntu 12 LTE and mount.cifs -V gives me mount.cifs version: 5.1 Any help and suggestions would be appreciated ...
