• Trouble with Powershell and running a complex commandline

  Hi, I've been trying to run the following command line from a Powershell build script we have; but keep running into issues & 'C:\Dev\Yadda\trunk\BuildScripts\U tilities\csmanage.exe' /create-deployme nt /name:yadddayaddyaddadev /label:yadddayaddyaddadev /package:https://yadddayaddyadda.blob.core.windows.net/mydeployments/20100426_202848_FamilyMoments.cspk g /config:C:\Dev\WalmartOne\trunk\yadddayaddyadda.CloudService\bin\Debug\ServiceCon figuration.cscfg /slot:Staging /hosted-service:yadddayaddyadda-dev" Note: the space in "Utilities" is intentional; trying to snif out a bug involving spaces in the executable path. I assure you, the path does exist with the space in it on my machine. What's the best way to call this command line from Powershell? I've tried Invoke-Expression, Diagnostic.Process::Start, &; each method coming up with some different type of error; usually that it could find the executable. Any constructive input is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

  Hello, From the documentation it's clear I need to use the following to get a simple unmarshalling to occur from my XML file/schema: JAXBContext jc = JAXBContext.newInstance("PackageName"); where PackageName is my package name. I've looked on google for a bit to no avail, to find out why I'm then getting this runtime error: Line:Col[2:142]:cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element 'myconfig'. Line:Col[2:142]:unexpected element (uri:"http://www.w3.org", local:"myconfig"). Expected elements are <{}myconfig> Caught UnmarshalException This occurs at the top of all my class files, including the ones the XJC plugin for eclipse created for me (which I then moved out of PackageName.PackageName which it automatically created): package PackageName; so why is this error occurring?

  Is there something similar to the Eclipse cleanup rules ((Preferences Java Code Style Clean Up) in NetBeans? The cleanup rules in eclipse will allow you to clean things up like organizing imports, removing unnecessary casts, adding missing override annotations etc. Also can you do that on a whole set of classes/packages instead of individual classes?

• ubuntu 10.04 logs itself out overnight

  Every night when I leave work, I lock the screen via ubuntu's "power" button in the top right hand panel. When I come to work in the morning, I'm greeted with the log-in screen. • efficient algorithm for drawing circle arcs?

  I am using the mid-point circle algorithm (bresenham circle) to efficiently draw whole circles. Is there something similar to draw circle arcs? I would like to specify a start angle and end angle and have only that portion of the circle drawn. Thanks in advance! EDIT: I would like to draw filled circle arcs too, i.e pie-slices. :)

As we are using Jaclplus component and we have purchased the Jaclplus component from Byos Tech , i have checked in the membership details.And we found that our Membership has been expired on 03/10/2010 . I have asked them but they had replied that it may not be a problem on membership. Please anyone share what can be the reason for the error.I am not able to open that file(jaclplus.class.php) since its a binary file.

• Fuzzy Regex, Text Processing, Lexical Analysis?

  I'm not quite sure what terminology to search for, so my title is funky... Here is the workflow I've got: Semi-structured documents are scanned to file. The files are OCR'd to text. The text is parsed into Python objects The objects are serialized (to SQL, JSON, whatever) for use. The documents are structures like this: HEADER blah blah, Page ### blah Garbage text... 1. Question Text... continued until now. A. Choice text... adsadsf. B. Another Choice... 2. Another Question... I need to extract the questions and choices. The problem is that, because the text is OCR output, there are occasional strange substitutions like '2' - 'Z' which makes ordinary regular expressions useless. I've tried the Levenshtein module and it helps, but it requires prior knowledge of what edit distance is to be expected. I don't know whether I'm looking to create a parser? a lexer? something else? This has lead me down all kinds of interesting but nonrelevant paths. Guidance would be greatly appreciated. Oh, also, the text is generally from specific technical domains, so general spelling tools are not so helpful. Regarding the structure of the documents, there is no clear visual pattern -- like line breaks or indentation -- with the exception of the fact that "questions" usually begin a line. Crap on the document can cause characters to appear before the actual beginning of the line, which means that something along the lines of r'^[0-9]+' does not reliably work. Though the "questions" always begin with an int, a period and a space; the OCR can substitute other characters or skip characters. This is not so much a problem with Tesseract or Cunieform, rather with the poor quality of the paper documents. # Note: for the project in question, it was decided that having a human prep the OCR'd text was better that spending the time coding a solution. I'd still love good pointers, however.

  I have a system that I need to programmatically interface with that requires a set of numbers to be dialed after the phone line is picked up, like a standard automated phone answering system. For instance, dial the number 123-456-7890, wait for the line to be answered, wait 15 seconds for the voice prompt, dial 1234#, hang up. The question is, can I and how do I do that through a modem? I know how to dial a number through a modem, it's simply ATDT[phone number], but that will attempt to initiate a data connection which will not allow touch-tone number entry. Would a voice modem provide the necessary capability? If so, could anyone provide example commands to accomplish this?

String.split - looks like a static method, but actually an instance method Maybe aString.split is the convention? String#split - I've seen this HTML anchor form too, which I guess is javadoc-influenced Is there an authoritative recommendation on how to clearly refer to these things?

  I have an event handler for the TextBox.TextChanged event on a form of mine. In order to support undo, I'd like to figure out exactly what has changed in the TextBox, so that I can undo the change if the user asks for it. (I know the builtin textbox supports undo, but I'd like to have a single undo stack for the whole application) Is there a reasonable way to do that? If not, is there a better way of supporting such an undo feature?

• Code coverage (c++ code execution path)

  Let's say I have this code: int function(bool b) { // execution path 1 int ret = 0; if(b) { // execution path 2 ret = 55; } else { // execution path 3 ret = 120; } return ret; } I need some sort of a mechanism to make sure that the code has gone in any possible path, i.e execution paths 1, 2 & 3 in the code above. I thought about having a global function, vector and a macro. This macro would simply call that function, passing as parameters the source file name and the line of code, and that function would mark that as "checked", by inserting to the vector the info that the macro passed. The problem is that I will not see anything about paths that did not "check". Any idea how do I do this? How to "register" a line of code at compile-time, so in run-time I can see that it didn't "check" yet? I hope I'm clear.

  I have ViewStubs in my layout. If I set clickable and implement the OnClickListener this does work only on the root of the element. But the layout holds parent elements, and when I click on those the click is not recognized. How do I make a full row/view of ViewStub as whole to be clickable and highlightable like a ListView elements? Also what do I have to add to get that orange highlight?

• How do I construct a Django reverse/url using query args?

  I have URLs like http://example.com/depict?smiles=CO&width=200&height=200 (and with several other optional arguments) My urls.py contains: urlpatterns = patterns('', (r'^$', 'cansmi.index'), (r'^cansmi$', 'cansmi.cansmi'), url(r'^depict$', cyclops.django.depict, name="cyclops-depict"), I can go to that URL and get the 200x200 PNG that was constructed, so I know that part works. In my template from the "cansmi.cansmi" response I want to construct a URL for the named template "cyclops-depict" given some query parameters. I thought I could do {% url cyclops-depict smiles=input_smiles width=200 height=200 %} where "input_smiles" is an input to the template via a form submission. In this case it's the string "CO" and I thought it would create a URL like the one at top. This template fails with a TemplateSyntaxError: Caught an exception while rendering: Reverse for 'cyclops-depict' with arguments '()' and keyword arguments '{'smiles': u'CO', 'height': 200, 'width': 200}' not found. This is a rather common error message both here on StackOverflow and elsewhere. In every case I found, people were using them with parameters in the URL path regexp, which is not the case I have where the parameters go into the query. That means I'm doing it wrong. How do I do it right? That is, I want to construct the full URL, including path and query parameters, using something in the template.   Hi I want to calculate the broadcast address for e.g -IP 192.168.3.1 -Subnet 255.255.255.0 =192.168.3.255 in C. I know the way (doing fancy bitwise OR's between the inversed IP and Subnet), but my problem is I come from the green fields of MacOSX Cocoa programing. I looked into the source of ipcal, but wasn't able to integrate it into my code base. There must be a simple 10 line of code example somewhere on the internet, I just can't find it. • Flash CS4/AS3 Dynamic Text Box

  Hi, I have created a XML image gallery, which displays text in between each slide. Now I have created a movie clip with a dynamic text field (with Render HTML selected) to display the text from the XML which is pushed into an array. Now, this all works great BUT... /n or /r is not creating a new line break (as they need to be custom). Yet if I create an Array and manually push strings "Bla bla bla /n bla bla bla" I get a line break. I have tried converting the Array item to string (even though it already is), I would also avoid creating textField = new textField() any Ideas would be welcomed. Cheers
