• Dynamically creating a treeview in HTML with indent lines in ASP.Net

  Hi, im quite new to HTML, and am trying to create a proffessional looking TreeView. I can not use the in built treeview in ASP.Net as i need to point the target of the selection to another frame (I have tried, and this doesn't seem possible). My treeview is built up as follows: Folder1 ChildOne ChildTwo ChildThree Folder2 ChildOne ChildTwo ChildThree I have the collapsing of the folders working, but would like to know how to format this treeview so it has dotted lines down to the child nodes (as most treeviews tend to have). Also I haven't seen any tags for the ZDK so please edit if something is more fitting!

  Hi, I want to insert a date having this format MM/dd/YYYY for example:04/29/2010 to 29/04/2010 to be inserted into mysql database in a field typed Date. So i have this code: String dateimput=request.getParameter("datepicker"); DateFormat df = new SimpleDateFormat("dd/MM/yyyy"); Date dt = null; try { dt = df.parse(dateimput); System.out.println("date imput is:" +dt); } catch (ParseException e) { e.printStackTrace(); } but it gives me those error: 1-date imput is:Fri May 04 00:00:00 CEST 2012 (it is not the correct value that have been entered). 2-dismatching with mysql date type. I can not detect the error exactly. Please help.

• Export and Import MS Access table defenitions as text files

  How can I export/import MS Access table definitions as text files (in a human readable format like I can with Forms or Reports)? I know how I can export the whole table out into CSV file; however: I don't need the data to go (actually really rather that it didn't) When I import a CSV file (especially without data) there's no guarantee that the data types will be the same as my original database. I'm hoping to store my table definitions in a SVN repository. I don't want to have to house any import specifications in the destination database.

  Hey all- I'm using QBFC to generate invoices in a Quickbooks integrating app. I'm getting an exception thrown for lineItem.Amount.SetValue(val as Double) when I try to enter a programmatically generated double. The following does not work: lineItem = invoice.ORInvoiceLineAddList.Append.InvoiceLineAdd Dim amount as Double amount = summary.dailySold * summary.dailyRate loggingTxtBox.AppendText("Amount is " & amount & vbNewLine) lineItem.Amount.SetValue(amount) The exception I receive is System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80040305): Invalid Amount format. at Interop.QBFC8.IQBAmountType.SetValue(Double val) The following works: lineItem.Amount.SetValue(20.3) Any suggestions? • Scrapy Not Returning Additonal Info from Scraped Link in Item via Request Callback

  Basically the code below scrapes the first 5 items of a table. One of the fields is another href and clicking on that href provides more info which I want to collect and add to the original item. So parse is supposed to pass the semi populated item to parse_next_page which then scrapes the next bit and should return the completed item back to parse Running the code below only returns the info collected in parse If I change the return items to return request I get a completed item with all 3 "things" but I only get 1 of the rows, not all 5.   [DISCLAIMER : None of the access token or ID below here are real] I've done research for three solid days and no result on how to get user wall feed(post). I have used https://graph.facebook.com/oauth/access_token?client_id=YOUR_APP_ID&client_secret=YOUR_APP_SECRET&grant_type=client_credentials and get the access token which is something like this access_token=454345994651138|bAMGfuW-ueNXGCahley7ga125HN and then https://graph.facebook.com/100005939123542/feed?access_token=454345994651138|bAMGfuW-ueNXGCahley7ga125HN It gives me general information such as user's likes, name, id, current city... but NOT user's wall posts. I've learned that there are three types of access token, which is App Token, User Token, and Page Token. In order to get user/feed by using graphAPI, I need to request to get User Token, but there's NO information in the lousy Facebook Doc! (Which frustrated me the most!) In order to generate the user access token, we need to set some permission, generate the access token, and GET the user's wall feed, which is in JSON format. My question is : How do I get the User Access Token in order to get user wall post in iOS Xcode?

• New to C# and trying to use a global variable

  Is it possible to use global variables in C#? I'm coming from mainly a PHP background so variables are either accessible everywhere or just a global definition away. My main issue is I have a User class that I built myself to wrap around the current users table on my company's database. I am defining it in the MasterPage but can't seem to access it from the actual pages (I don't know if there's a better word to describe them but they are the pages that inherit the styles and format from the MasterPage) Any general tips or implementation practices for me? • How do I display data in a table and allow users to copy selected data?

  Hi I have a long list of data that I want to display in table format to users. The data changes when the user performs certain actions in my app, but it is not directly editable. So the user can create a reasonably big table of data, but he can't change individual cells' values. However, I do want the data to be copy-able. So I want it to be possible for the user to select some or all of the cells, and do a ctrl-C to copy the data to his clipboard, and then a ctrl-V to paste the data to an external text editor. At the moment, I'm displaying the data in a ListView with a GridView and this works perfectly, except that GridView doesn't allow one to copy data. What other options can I try? Ours is a WPF app, coding in c#.

  I use a NSDateFormatter which works fine in the simulator, but I get a nil when I run it in the iPhone. I hardcoded the date to be sure of the format, but it fails anyway.   In Visual Studio, I can obtain a succinct list of public methods/members exposed in a class for which I do not have the source (i.e. bundled inside a DLL) by pressing F12 (GoToDefinition). Similarly, I am learning the Android API - in Eclipse. Jumping to an Android framework method definition produces decompilation output which is not intuitive to read, and is very verbose. To mimic results like Visual Studio, I am considering several options: How can I format the decompilation output to be 'cleaner' - I have looked through Eclipse's preferences menus and have not found a way to do this. How do I 'add corresponding source files' once Google provides it, so that jumping to definition yields the actual definition? Is there a plugin that does this already? I looked into Jadclipse, but that project has not been updated in several years, and is still a decompiler. Thank you in advance.

Invalid examples: a. a A A B A B C AB ABC Using The Regulator and some websites I have found the following regex, but it only allows exactly one upper (or lower!) case character followed by a period: ^[A-Z][/.]$ Basically I only need to know how to force upper case characters, and how I can repeat the validation to allow more the one occurence of an upper case character followed by a period.

  I am Netbeans user for PHP. I have installed Netbeans IDE 6.8. Everything is working well. There is an option in SOURCE -- FORMAT. This action formats the code properly. It is quite handy. Unfortunately, this functionality is not working for me. Whenever some php code comes in between, it additionally adding some empty rows in between and making it more untidy. Can you please help to set up the same functionality. Restore the settings to default.

WHERE '+someVar+' = ... AND '+someVar2' = ...' sp_executesql sql What I would rather like to have is a TABLE variable of which is a reference to a table, so I could do for example: UPDATE TableRef SET ... WHERE ... Because when I have really long T-SQL statements it gets really hard to read due to the format of it within a string. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks!

• R.java file not updating with UI element's id

  I added some UI elements to the main.xml file in the res\layout folder and when I try to access them through the call, R.layout.my_uielement, the UI element that I created is not there. Even when I add a new xml file with UI elements, it still doesn't show up in the R.layout class. I have made checked the ids on them and they have the correct format (I think): android:id="@+id/my_button". What could be the problem? Do I need to compile the code first?

• How would you parse the location text from Twitter to get the latitude/longitude in Objective-C?

  The location text from Twitter could be just about anything. Sometimes Twitter clients set the location with the user's latitude and longitude in the following format. "\U00dcT: 43.05948,-87.908409" Since there is no built-in support for Regular Expressions in Objective-C I am considering using the NSString functions like rangeOfString to pull the float values out of this string. For my current purpose I know the values with start with 43 and 87 so I can key off those values this time but I would prefer to do better than that. What would you do to parse the latitude/longitude from this string?

• Trouble using SFML with GCC and OS X

  I've been trying to get SFML working for a while now and I've been trying to get it working using GCC. I'm on OS X by the way. I followed the standard Linux instructions and using the Linux 64-bit download however when it comes to compiling... g++ -o testing main.cpp -lsfml-system This happens: main.cpp: In function ‘int main()’: main.cpp:7: error: ‘class sf::Clock’ has no member named ‘GetElapsedTime’ main.cpp:9: error: ‘class sf::Clock’ has no member named ‘GetElapsedTime’ main.cpp:10: error: ‘Sleep’ is not a member of ‘sf’ So I thought it could be due to not using includes, so I changed my gcc compile command to: g++ -o testing main.cpp -I ~/SFML-1.6/include/ -lsfml-system and now I'm getting this error: ld: warning: ignoring file /usr/local/lib/libsfml-system.so, file was built for unsupported file format which is not the architecture being linked (x86_64) Undefined symbols for architecture x86_64: "sf::Clock::Clock()", referenced from: _main in ccZEiB7b.o "sf::Clock::GetElapsedTime() const", referenced from: _main in ccZEiB7b.o "sf::Sleep(float)", referenced from: _main in ccZEiB7b.o ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture x86_64 collect2: ld returned 1 exit status** And I have no idea what to do to fix it.

• Using EXR images in OpenCV

  Hi there! I'm currently working on a project with OpenEXR and I would like to implement some Blob detection algorithms. To do this I figured that I could use OpenCV as it says in the documentation that it can open OpenEXR format files. I have all the libraries installed and working as I've been doing other things. I open a simple jpg file with openCV cvLoadImage. It works fine. But when i try to open any .exr file it doesn't seam to like it. I get a gray window where there should be the image display. Has anyone done any tests with OpenCV and OpenEXR libraries working together? Have they worked for you? What do you think? Thanks.

• MySQL storing negative and positive decimals

  Hello, I want to be able to store -11.99 and +11.99 kind of values in mysql db I am thinking of decimals instead of varchar. But reading mysql site I found out that its incompatible with older versions of mysql As a result of the change from string to numeric format for DECIMAL storage, DECIMAL columns no longer store a leading + or - character or leading 0 digits. Before MySQL 5.0.3, if you inserted +0003.1 into a DECIMAL(5,1) column, it was stored as +0003.1. As of MySQL 5.0.3, it is stored as 3.1. For negative numbers, a literal - character is no longer stored. Applications that rely on the older behavior must be modified to account for this change. So what should be the data type, If I have to give up varchar and make it compatible with older versions too?
