    Hello I've been using "Zip Utils" from http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/7530/Zip-Utils-clean-elegant-simple-C-Win32 to zip files and folders. the easy thing is if the file name is known i just need to do something like this HZIP hz; DWORD writ; hz = CreateZip(_T("filename\\image1.zip"),0); The problem is I get errors when trying to zip files by incrementing file names within a loop int i= 0; for(i=0; i<record; i++) { ZipAdd(hz,_T("doc"+i+1+".kml"), _T("filename\\doc"+i+1+".kml")); }

  • uitextfield delegate must be file's owner?

    I've seen a few references (eg here) in response to folks having trouble getting the keyboard to dismiss in iPhone that say "double check that the delegate is attached to file's owner. Is this necessarily true? Or just standard practice? Can't I have other objects in my nib, such as a subclass of UIViewController, and make connections to those as I like? I'd hate to have to route everything into the object that happens to be file owner. That said, I'm having a difficult time getting the keyboard to disappear. I know it's connected to the delegate, because I can set break points and step through the code. I can see the [theTextField resignFirstResponder] get called (and return true), but the keyboard still won't go away. Any other suggestions?

  • Mercurial merge strategy per file type

    All: I want to use kdiff to merge all files with a certain suffix (say *.c, *.h) and I want to do two things (turn off premerge and use internal:other) for all files with another suffix (say *.mdl). The purpose of this is to allow me to employ a type of 'clobber merge' for a specific file type (ie: un-mergable files like configurations, auto-generated C, models, etc..) In my .hgrc I've tried: [merge-tools] kdiff3= clobbermerge=internal:other clobbermerge.premerge = False [merge-patterns] **.c = kdiff3 **.h = kdiff3 **.mdl = clobbermerge but it still triggers kdiff3 for all files. Thoughts? An extension of this would be to perform a 'clobber merge' on a directory - but once the syntax is clear for a file suffix, the dir should be easy.

    I'm using OLEDropTarget to get dropped content. It works fine with text. However, I'm not able to figure out how to get bitmaps from CF_BITMAP type data objects and save them to file. My code: HGLOBAL hg = pDataObject->GetGlobalData(CF_BITMAP); if (NULL == hg) { return FALSE; } HBITMAP pData = (HBITMAP)GlobalLock(hg); if(pData == NULL) return false; HBITMAP bmp; ::GetObject(pData,sizeof(HBITMAP),&bmp); CImage cnn; cnn.Attach(bmp); cnn.Save(L"here.bmp",Gdiplus::ImageFormatBMP); I get an error on the Attach, but when debugging I noticed that the GetObject doesn't make a copy into the second HBITMAP.

  • Nokogiri Not Parsing File

    I'm using Nokogiri to parse pepXML files from different peptide search engines. I have two pepXML files, both of which appear, inasmuch as I can tell, to be of correct format, and puts Nokogiri::XML(IO.read(file)) will output the whole XML file for both files. The problem is, doc.xpath("any valid xpath") will parse the tag from one of the files, but not the other. No errors are given, so I have no idea why it won't parse. Anyone know of any reasons why Nokogiri wouldn't parse something out?

  • Vim: multi-file editing - having different makes in different splits

    I'm a recent vim convert (from fancy IDEs like eclipse.) I love the :make command in vim and use it extensively; however I also like to edit multiple projects (with separate makefiles.) So usually to edit more than one project I will do pushd project1 vim project1.cpp [suspend signal] pushd ../project2 vim project2.cpp and now I can switch between the two projects with ctrl+z i.e. suspend signal, and fg. When this becomes an issue is when I want to open one project in the context of another so I can do copy/pasting. So if instead in the above I do pushd project1 vim project1.cpp :vsp ../project2/project2.cpp I can edit both concurrently in the same vim process, however I can't effectively build one or the other with the :make command, it will only build project 1. Does anyone have some kind of scheme that gives them the best of both worlds: being able to edit concurrently while still being able to build multiple projects with the :make command all from the same vim process?

  • Writing to the middle of the file (without overwriting data)

    In windows is it possible through an API to write to the middle of a file without overwriting any data and without having to rewrite everything after that? If it's possible then I believe it will obviously fragment the file; how many times can I do it before it becomes a serious problem? If it's not possible what approach/workaround is usually taken? Re-writing everything after the insertion point becomes prohibitive really quickly with big (ie, gigabytes) files. Note: I can't avoid having to write to the middle. Think of the application as a text editor for huge files where the user types stuff and then saves. I also can't split the files in several smaller ones.

    Hello, I'm writing a script and I need to create a loop that will execute same commands until file does contain a specified number of duplicate entries. For example, with each loop I will echo random string to file results. And I want loop to stop when there are 10 lines of of the same string. I thought of something like while [ `some command here (maybe using uniq)` -lt 10 ] do command1 command2 command3 done Do you have any idea how can this problem be solved? Using grep can't be done since I don't know what string I need to look for. Thank you for your suggestions.

  • Getting 404 when attempting to POST file to Google Cloud Storage from service account

    I'm wondering if anyone can tell me the proper syntax & formatting for a service account to send a POST Object to bucket request? I'm attempting it programmatically using the HttpComponents library. I manage to get a token from my GoogleCredential, but every time I construct the POST request, I get: HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?><Error><Code>AccessDenied</Code><Message>Access denied.</Message><Detailsbucket-name</Details></Error The Google documentation that describes the request methods, mentions posting using html forms, but I'm hoping that wasn't suggesting the ONLY way to get the job done. I know that HttpComponents has a way to explicitly create form data by using UrlEncodedFormEntity, but it doesn't support multipart data. Which is why I went with using the MultipartEntity class. The below snippet replaces tokens in any of the *.xml files with the corresponding values from my.properties file. <replace dir="${projects.prj.dir}/config" replacefilterfile="${projects.prj.dir}/my.properties" includes="*.xml" summary="true"/'> I want those *.xml files that had their tokens replaced be created as *.xml.filtered (for e.g.) and still have the original *.xml. Is this possible in Ant with some smart combination of tasks and concepts ?

  • Could not load file or assembly error even when reference has been removed

    Could not load file or assembly 'Payflow_dotNET_2.0' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040) I tried to reference the payflow SDK and got this error.But I am no longer trying to reference it. I have removed all references to this dll. and Now I am just trying to get the project to start in VS but I still get this error. I am not trying to add the dll anymore.If i have removed the reference to this, why am I still getting this error? How can I remove anything else that may still be causing my program to look for this file? Thanks!

    I have an XML file that I use for storing and displaying recipes that I collect, but that same XML file also has updates for the site at the top of it. How would I, say, use Recipes.xsl to transform Recipes.xml for display as an actual website, and use RecipesRSS.xsl to transform Recipes.xml into Recipes.rss?   • small scale web site - global javascript file style/format/pattern - improving maintainability

    I frequently create (and inherit) small to medium websites where I have the following sort of code in a single file (normally named global.js or application.js or projectname.js). If functions get big, I normally put them in a seperate file, and call them at the bottom of the file below in the $(document).ready() section. If I have a few functions that are unique to certain pages, I normally have another switch statement for the body class inside the $(document).ready() section. How could I restructure this code to make it more maintainable? Note: I am less interested in the functions innards, more so the structure, and how different types of functions should be dealt with. I've tried setting FileMode to "fmOpenRead or fmShareDenyNone" but now realise this doesn't apply to text files anyway.   • C++ - Opening a file inside a function using fopen

    I am using Visual Studio 2005 (C++). I am passing a string into a function as a char array. I want to open the file passed in as a parameter and use it. I know my code works to an extent, because if I hardcode the filename as the first parameter it works perfectly. I do notice if I look at the value as a watch, the value includes the address aside the string literal. I have tried passing in the filename as a pointer, but it then complains about type conversion with __w64. As I said before it works fine with "filename.txt" in place of fileName.     I store backups of databases in a directory structure year/month/day/time/backup_name an example would be basics_mini/2012/11/05/012232/RATIONAL.0.db2inst1.NODE0000.20110505004037.001 basics_mini/2012/11/06/012251/RATIONAL.0.db2inst1.NODE0000.20110505003930.001 note that timestamp from the backup file cannot be used. Before the automation testing starts the server time is set to 5.5.2011 So the question is how I can get the latest file if I pass the "base directory" (basics_mini) to some function that I am going to code. My thoughts are that I list the base directory and sort by time to get the year. Then I do the same for month, day and time. I wonder if there is any "easier" solution to that in php.

  • Growing MS Access File Size problem

    I have a large MS Access application with a lot of computations in VBA code. When I run it it eventually crashes due to excessive file size. There are a lot of intermediate tables and queries created and subsequently deleted, but Access does not reclaim the space. I have diligently closed all intermediate record sets and set all temporary objects to nothing, but nothing helps. The only way I can get my code to run is to run part of it, stop and repair/compress the file then restart the code. Isn't there a better way? Thanks
