    Which library should I use to parse C/C++ source code file? I need to parse source file, calculate how much useful strings inside, how much 'for' blocks, 'if' blocks, how much comments inside. I also may need to insert a comment or small piece of code after each 'for' block. Is there any libraries? May be any library included in Microsoft Visual Studio?

  • Unable to get project info and source control from a particular machine

    From one particular machine, accounts are unable to get tfs project info and source control via the visual studio tfs client. The connection with the tfs server is made but the project content remains empty. Web access is possible from this machine. Note: from all other machines everything works normally, so it must be a local machine issue. What might be misconfigured on this machine? Otherwise there seem to be no problems on this XP machine.

  • Debug assertion does not prompt in IIS 7

    Hi, since moving to Windows 7 (IIS 7.5), the debug assertions do not prompt a pop up dialog anymore. I have tested this in a separate project, and noticed that they do work when using the integrated Visual Studio Developer server (Cassini) but they do not work when using IIS Web Server. This is a big issue for us since we are counting on debug assertions to identify potential programming errors, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Eyal.

    After using Git from the command line for a while, I am ready for the convenience a GUI plugin (for Eclipse) can offer. However, I prefer a Git plugin similar to to MS Visual Studio's Git Source Control Provider which is only a wrapper around the already installed msysgit. I really don't want two different Git implementations accessing the same repository. EGit sounds perfect - if it can use the already installed msysgit in my PC. But can it?

    Hi, Let's say that I have created a WCF proxy from a WCF service (which is configured with wsHttpBinding) using Add Service (in Visual Studio 2008). Later I want to use basicHttpBinding so I'll go and change the WCF service to use basicHttpBinding. But what about the WCF proxy?     I have a friend who is trying to make the switch to Linux, but is hung up on the apparent lack of debugging/IDE environments for C++, especially as they relate to template programming. He has been using visual studio for years and is maybe a little spoiled by their awesome IDE. Does anyone have any good suggestions for an environment where he can, under Linux, develop and debug with all of the usual things (Breakpoints, line highlighting for compilation errors, step in/over/out/etc, etc) that he's accustomed to? Still, I can't understand how to connect to my server: I see that the SQL service itself (SQLEXPRESS) is running in both in services.msc and Sql Server Configuration Manager I try to connect to it via the Management Studio, but I don't understand what to do.
