Problem with onsubmit ID

I need an onsubmit to return false if what's written on the first field is a certain PHP value however the field has a strange id format and I'm not quite sure how to add it in the onsubmit. This is the form, I didn't add the element ID to it: <form class="questionform" name="questionform-0" id="questionform-0" onsubmit="if (document.getElementById('').value == '<?php echo $casi; ?>') return false;" > <textarea class="question-box" style="width:97%;" cols="20" rows="4" id="question-box-' . $questionformid . SQL Server 2008 - Get Latest Record from Joined Table

Hello, I have a SQL Server 2008 database. This database has two tables called Customer and Order. These tables are defined as follows: Customer -------- ID, First Name, Last Name Order ----- ID, CustomerID, Date, Description I am trying to write a query that returns all of the customers in my database. If the user has placed at least one order, I want to return the information associated with the most recent order placed. Currently, I have the following: SELECT * FROM Customer c LEFT OUTER JOIN Order o ON c.[ID]=o.[CustomerID] As you can imagine, this will return all of the orders associated with a customer. In reality though, I only want the most recent one. How do I do this in SQL? Thank you!

I have a method in Java that concatenates 2 Strings. It currently works correctly, but I think it can be written better. public static String concat(String str1, String str2) { String rVal = null; if (str1 != null || str2 != null) { rVal = ""; if (str1 != null) { rVal += str1; } if (str2 != null) { rVal += str2; } } return rVal; } Here are some of the requirements: If both str1 and str2 are null, the method returns null If either str1 or str2 is null, it will just return the not null String If str1 and str2 are not null, it will concatenate them It never adds "null" to the result Can anyone do this with less code?

I have several lists that contain many of the same items and many duplicate items. I want to check which items in one list are not in the other list. For example, I might have one list like this: l1 = ['a', 'b', 'c', 'b', 'c'] and one list like this: l2 = ['a', 'b', 'c', 'b'] Comparing these two lists I would want to return a third list like this: l3 = ['c'] I am currently using some terrible code that I made a while ago that I'm fairly certain doesn't even work properly shown below. def list_difference(l1,l2): for i in range(0, len(l1)): for j in range(0, len(l2)): if l1[i] == l1[j]: l1[i] = 'damn' l2[j] = 'damn' l3 = [] for item in l1: if item!='damn': l3.append(item) return l3 How can I better accomplish this task?

c++ program debugged well with Cygwin4 (under Netbeans 7.2) but not with MinGW (under QT 4.8.1)

I have a c++ program which take a map text file and output it to a graph data structure I have made, I am using QT as I needed cross-platform program and GUI as well as visual representation of the map. I have several maps in different sizes (8x8 to 4096x4096). I am using unordered_map with a vector as key and vertex as value, I'm sending hash(1) and equal functions which I wrote to the unordered_map in creation. Under QT I am debugging my program with QT 4.8.1 for desktop MinGW (QT SDK), the program works and debug well until I try the largest map of 4096x4096, then the program stuck with the following error: "the inferior stopped because it received a signal from operating system", when debugging, the program halt at the hash function which used inside the unordered_map and not as part of the insertion state, but at a getter(2). I'm stuck on how to formulate this problem properly and the following is: What if we had the following values: {('A','B','C','D'):3, ('A','C','B','D'):2, ('B','D','C','A'):4, ('D','C','B','A'):3, ('C','B','A','D'):1, ('C','D','A','B'):1} When we sum up the first place values: [5,4,2,3] (5 people picked for A first, 4 people picked for B first, and so on like A = 5, B = 4, C = 2, D = 3) The maximum values for any alphabet is 5, which isn't a majority (5/14 is less than half), where 14 is the sum of total values. So we remove the alphabet with the fewest first place picks. Which in this case is C. I want to return a dictionary where {'A':5, 'B':4, 'C':2, 'D':3} without importing anything. GCC compiler -- bug or unspecified behavior?

When I have conflicting definitions of the ivars of a class in objective-c (not redeclaring the class in the same file, but rather naming the same class with diff ivars, no warnings or better yet errors are issued by the compiler. However, both sets of ivars are useable by the appropriate methods in the respective files. For instance Foo.m: @interface foo { int a; } - (int)method; @end @implementation foo - (int)method { return a; } @end Bar.m: @interface foo { float baz; } @end @implementation foo (category) - (float)blah { return baz; } @end compiles without warnings or errors. Is this intentional? Is this an unchecked error? (for the record, a and baz are actually the same memory location.)

Portrait video to landscape

I am aware questions like this one may already be out there but for the sake of others like me I will go ahead and ask I have a app that is set to only allow portrait orientation but this setting affects my videos as I would like only the videos to be able to play in landscape also. Is there a method I can add unto my .m file to make this work? Speedup C++ code

Hi, I am writing a C++ number crunching application, where the bottleneck is a function that has to calculate for double: template<class T> inline T sqr(const T& x){return x*x;} and another one that calculates Base dist2(const Point& p) const { return sqr(x-p.x) + sqr(y-p.y) + sqr(z-p.z); } These operations take 80% of the computation time. Hey Guys - I'm trying to find an easy way(without having to write any plugins or overrides to Rails) to generate an absolute url to a rails application being in a subdirectory. This url is going to be generated for theme images, not links, so I can't url link_to or url_for. Here's an example of what I want to do: <%= theme_image("delete_icon.png", :theme => "my_theme") %> If my app is running at http://localhost, This would return: <img src="/themes/my_theme/images/delete_icon.png"> but If my app is running at http://localhost/myapp, This would return: <img src="/myapp/themes/my_theme/images/delete_icon.png"> Can anyone point me in the right direction to generate a dynamic, absolute url to a non-routed resource?

is this aes encryption wrapper safe ? - yet another take...

After taking into accound answers for my questions here and here I created (well may-be) improved version of my wrapper. The key issue was what if an attacker is knowing what is encoded - he might then find the key and encode another messages. So I added XOR before encryption. dojo dgrid tree, subrows in wrong position

I have a dgrid, working with tree column plugin. Every time that the user click on the tree, I call the server, catch the subrows(json) and bind it. But when it happens, these subrows are show in wrong position, like the image bellow. The most strange is when I change the pagination, after go back to first page, the subrows stay on the correct place. Here is the situation: I have checking on existing class like: ('Promise' in window) // true/false` And I wanna force return false or true on it, can I do it? Yes, I can check it by some other way, like ` window.Promise = undefined; window.Promise === undefined; Or something like this, but can I somehow delete this object or simulate something for 'in' operator? I check specification and v8 code, there is 'in' operator just call 'HasProperty' operator, which realization on c++.. If i enter a url directly into the address bar of the browser, i get the following results: logger.debug ENV['HTTP_REFERER'] // => logger.debug request.referrer // => / So the first one gives me a blank result which is what I expected but the second gives me the root? Is this correct? It seems from the docs (http://api.rubyonrails.org/classes/ActionController/AbstractRequest.html#M000478) that they should return the same thing. And secondly, why does it return the root, if there was no referrer.

i'm using this function to highlight the results from mysql query: function highlightWords($string, $word) { $string = str_replace($word, "<span class='highlight'>".$word."</span>", $string); /*** return the highlighted string ***/ return $string; } .... $cQuote = highlightWords(htmlspecialchars($row['cQuotes']), $search_result); the problem is, if i type in 'good', it will only show my search results with a lower-case 'g'ood and not 'Good'. how do i rectify this?
