    I have a listbox and I display incremental search result in it based on the text changed event of a textbox, everytime I update the listboxitemsource. The items displayed inside a listbox the text of it must be highlighted. Suppose the person enter in textbox sy and the listbox displays the result all getting started with sy : Somewhat like this..., System SystemDefault SystemFolder so for the all above 3 results Sy must be highlighted.     Hi, I am trying to improve the layout for my game. The problem is that while I can create a good layout for one android phone, it doesn't work for another, ie the trackball for MyTouch is on the right side (landscape mode), but for the MyCliq, the DPad is on the left side. Is there a way to programmatically set the layout based on which phone it is? Thanks.

    I've got a basic ExtJS question, which I can't seem to resolve based on reading the docs and searching. Currently I have a TreePanel that loads JSON directly from a URL. I'm trying to separate the data from the view, so that I can also use that data to feed into an OpenLayers map (using GeoExt). How can I point a TreePanel to an Ext.data.Store rather than to a URL?

    Hi, I have an object with large number of similar fields (like more than 10 of them) and I have to assign them values from an array of variable length. The solution would be either a huge nested bunch of ifs based on checking length of array each time and assigning each field OR a chain of ifs checking on whether the length is out of bounds and assigning each time after that check. Both seem to be repetitive. Is there a better solution ?

    I don't need any data to be stored. I'd like an application to start, create an Entity Framework entities container based on the model I've designed but having no data records in it, then generate some data (from user input and other input sources), work with it and discard all the data on close, without propagating any data operations made with EF contect to a real database hosted on server or in a file. How do I implement such a pattern? I use Entity Framework 4 and Visual Studio 2010.

    For one of my clients I'm currently building an application that communicates with a legacy Microsoft Access database. Migrating to SQL server is unfortunately not (yet) an option. I currently write the queries using OleDbConnection, OleDbCommand and –good old- text based queries. As you can imagine I'm a bit spoiled by using modern O/RM tools and I feel like I went back in time. Which O/RM tool supports Microsoft Access so I can get rid of this uglyness?

    What open source (preferably gem-based) parser-generator options do I have in Ruby? I've used (flex&bison)|(lex&yacc) from C in the past, and I'm comfortable with BNF-style specifications. I've heard of treetop, but it looks a bit alien and verbose compared to yacc... Purpose: I want to convert my text markup language to a BNF and generate the parsing code.   • Combining search button on google map and search API

    Basically, i have the google api search engine which will send back addresses based on the search by the user; And a map api which will go over to the selected place typed in the textbox. However, both of them are in different textboxes / buttons. i can't seem to be able to change the ids of the button to make ONE of the buttons function as two ways, which your able to get the address, and the map will move to the selected location.

  • Suggestions on documentation of a DB model when using Entity Framework 4

    Any experiences on how to document Entity Framework 4 based Database projects? There is the Document and Summary properties on the Entities, but if we want to regenerate the model from the database at some point, it will be lost! Is there some way to map documentation data inside SQL to the Entities in the EDMX file so it is safe. Suggestions of other best practices? Ideally I want to be able to augo generate html/helpfile documentation from the DB when we deploy.
