    Today we’ve learned that Yahoo is shutting down Delicious, a fairly popular online service that let you organize your bookmarks, so if you want to get your bookmarks out and migrate to another service, here’s how to do it. You can use the export tool to easily get a copy of your bookmarks, and then use that file to import into any number of places, including your regular browser bookmarks.   • Android AVD With GoogleApi, Not Getting Network Connection

    I am working on a Windows XP Machine. When running AVDs out of Eclipse, I am getting "No Network Connection" when I am plugged into my company's network and using an AVD that was built with the "Google APIs by Google Inc., Android API 7, revision 1". If I use this same AVD (Google API) and connect to the internet through a Verizon Wireless card, the AVD gets an Internet Connection. If I use an AVD built with "SDK Platform Android 2.1, API 7, revision 1", and connect through my company's network, the AVD gets an Internet Connection. Any ideas what might be blocking this? I am guessing it is something in my company's network, but why only with the AVD created with the Google API?

    I'm having frequent disconnects with my new install of Ubuntu 12.10. I tried updating the kernel driver to the latest intel release to no avail. My expertise is spent. It happens anywhere between 1 min and 10 min. In MSIE 8 on Windows XP SP3, I can load pages, but it will sometimes hang downloading images or sending POSTs.   • System crashes/lockups + compiz/cairo/gnome-panel crashing due to cached ram, please help?

    Can someone help me to troubleshoot system crashes and lockups which result in compiz/cairo dock and gnome-panel crashing? I also get no window borders after the crash and a lot of kernel memory errors. Logs are telling me that apps were killed due to not enough memory, but the system is caching like 14GB of my ram so I'm a bit stuck on what/how to stop it. I'm running Ubuntu 12.10 on a 2011 Mac Mini with 16 GB ram. Here's some of the logs that look like they could be causing trouble. I woke up this morning to find chrome/skype/cairo dock and a few others had been killed and here is what the log said. I have a Radeon HD 6600M graphics card using the open source driver, not the proprietary one. I was wondering if perhaps using the proprietary one would solve the problem. Also, while writing this in Chrome rhythmbox and chrome just got killed while typing this, due to out of memory errors or so it reports, though I have 7 GB of free RAM at the time with 7 GB cached as well. Am I missing something?
