  Hello, I'm doing some kind of performance evaluation using two different vanilla Linux kernels, 2.6.22 and 2.6.31, since I assume each of them uses a different scheduling mechanism: 2.6.22 uses the old O(1) scheduler, whilst 2.6.31 adopts the CFS. Could anybody confirm the correction of this assumption?

  Hello, I'm using the CKEditor 3.1, and find that whereever there is a box on the page, the ckeditor causes a new empty select box to appear next to it (although it has not been applied to that specific element.) This seems to be a known issue : http://dev.fckeditor.net/ticket/4528 Has anyone been able to get around that? Is there any other good fckeditors you can suggest? Thanks!

  Hello, I'm using the WebDevHelper toolbar for Internet Explorer to troubleshoot HTTP requests/roundtrips on my SSL site and noticed that IE re-downloads my CSS :hover images every time they are triggered. This causes a huge amount of roundtrips. How can I prevent this from happening? Edit: All static content is served with cache-control: public, so images, javascript etc. are cached in Firefox and Chrome. This problem is IE specific.

For one filter I need I'm using the user vote (With fivestar and votingapi) to know if they user already voted this node or not, and when the user is annonymous, is working as if all the votes from all the annonymous users where from the same.   Hello! This is hopefully a simple question: I have an OpenGL texture and would like to be able to change its opacity, how do I do that? The texture already has an alpha channel and blending works fine, but I want to be able to decrease the opacity of the whole texture, to fade it into the background. I have fiddled with glBlendFunc, but with no luck – it seems that I would need something like GL_SRC_ALPHA_MINUS_CONSTANT, which is not available. I am working on iPhone, with OpenGL ES.

I was using this method to resize the image : UIImage *newImage = [image _imageScaledToSize:CGSizeMake(290, 390) interpolationQuality:1]; It works perfectly, but it's an undocumented function, so I can't use it anymore with iPhone OS4.
