    Hi, Simple question: 1) I click and hold the mouse on a ListBoxItem in a ListBox. 2) Now I drag the mouse cursor down over the next ListBoxItem in the list It now selects this new item. I would like to disable this. So the user has to click an item to select it. Not just drag over it. I have Single selection turned on. Any ideas are greatly appreciated :)

See the following menu: menu The code for this menu: <div id="menu"> <ul> <li class="home"><a href="#home" class="panel">home / <span class="go">you are here</span></a></li> <li class="about"><a href="#about" class="panel">about / <span class="go">go here</span></a></li> <li class="cases"><a href="#cases" class="panel">cases / <span class="go">go there</span></a></li> <li class="photos"><a href="#photos" class="panel">photos / <span class="go">maybe here</span></a></li> <li class="contact"><a href="#contact" class="panel">contact / <span class="go">or even here<span></span></a></li> </ul> </div> What i want to do: onclick a menu item: 1. change the red text to yellow 'you are here' 2. change the previous menu item back to its original state (eg red and "go here"). The 4 values "go here", "go there", "maybe here", "or even here" are the 4 values that should be assigned to the other menu items (like the example). My problem is that everything is working great except on additional button clicks. Specifically when they get success (video plays) and they exit back out, they don't get any other messages if they click another button. It is as if the click event is not triggered. Do I need to be doing something to the click handler to respond?

    I have a href from that i am giving out a popup , and i want to activate this on my body overload . I am using "document.getElementbyId("myelement").click()" this is working fine in IE but FireFox is not supporting it. And i know that .click() will not be taken by firefox , but i dont have any other way to do it. Can u please suggest me with a workaround that will be accepted by IE as well as FF. Thanks in advance.

  • EF4 + STE: Reattaching via a WCF Service? Using a new objectcontext each and every time?

    Hi there, I am planning to use WCF (not ria) in conjunction with Entity Framework 4 and STE (Self tracking entitites). If i understnad this correctly my WCF should return an entity or collection of entities (using LIST for example and not IQueryable) to the client (in my case silverlight) The client then can change the entity or update it. At this point i believe it is self tracking???? This is where i sort of get a bit confused as there are a lot of reported problems with STEs not tracking.. Anyway... Then to update i just need to send back the entity to my WCF service on another method to do the update. I should be creating a new OBJECTCONTEXT everytime? In every method? If i am creaitng a new objectcontext everytime in everymethod on my WCF then don't i need to re-attach the STE to the objectcontext? So basically this alone wouldn't work?? using(var ctx = new MyContext()) { ctx.Orders.ApplyChanges(order); ctx.SaveChanges(); } Or should i be creating the object context once in the constructor of the WCF service so that 1 call and every additional call using the same wcf instance uses the same objectcontext? I could create and destroy the wcf service in each method call from the client - hence creating in effect a new objectcontext each time. I understand that it isn't a good idea to keep the objectcontext alive for very long. Any insight or information would be gratefully appreciated thanks

  • OpenERP model tracking external resource, hooking into parent's copy() or copy_data()

    I have added a new model (call it crm_lead_external) that is linked via a new one2many on crm_lead. Thus, my module has two models defined: an updated crm_lead (with _name=crm_lead) and a new crm_lead_external. This external model tracks a file and as such has a 'filename' field. I also created a unique SQL index on this filename field. This is part of my module: def copy(self, cr, uid, id, default=None, context=None): if not default: default = {} default.update({ 'state': 'new', 'filename': '', }) ret = super(crm_lead_external, self).copy(cr, uid, id, default, context=context) #do file copy return ret The intent here is to allow an external entity to be duplicated, but to retarget the file path. Now, if I click duplicate on the Lead, I get an IntegrityError on my unique constraint. Is there a particular reason why copy() isn't being called? Should I add this logic to copy_data()? Myst I really override copy() for the lead? Thanks in advance.
