    Hi! I have a task that takes a long time executing. In order to inform about the progress to the user I have a progress bar that I update inside DoWork but I would like anybody tells me if it is the best way to update the progress bar. I have heard that there is a reportprogress event handler but I am confused because I don't know what is the utility of the ReportProgress. Thanks.

    I am a bit confused by this behavior (using python 3.2): class Bar: pass class Foo: def __init__(self): self.__cache = None bar = Bar() bar.__cache = None foo = Foo() print(vars(bar)) #returns {'__cache': None} print(vars(foo)) #returns {'_Foo__cache': None} I've read up a bit on how double-underscores cause attribute names to be "mangled", but I would have expected the same name-mangling in both cases above. The meaning of a single- and a double-underscore before an object name in Python Any ideas what's going on here?

Say If i have a class with a few getters and setters, a method or two, and i want those methods only to be invokable on an instance object of the class.     I have a program that is interacting with hardware via parallel port programming. i had compiled it and using its object file to interact with the hardware (a simple led). when i execute it directly on the shell it serves the purpose of glowing the LED but when i execute it using shell_exec() in php the command is executed but unable to interact with the hardware. i am totally confused.. .

    Hi, I'm absolutely confused with how to create the customized QTextDocument. I have the widget QWidget, which consists of some QLabels, QTableWidgets and QWidgets and I want to print it . I decided to create the new QTextDocument and insert in it all the defined widgets. I have already tried QTextCursor-insertBlock and insertText but my problem is how to define QTextBlockFormat or QTextCharFormat and say it, what is its "content", how to insert the widget in it.     I'm confused regarding the densities. I see that with medium density, the screen resolution could be either 320x480, 480x800, or 480x854. So if I have an image thats 300px wide in the mdpi folder, how is it going to look the same size on all 3 different screen sizes (mainly 320x480 vs the other 2)? And by look the same size, I mean scale to be bigger or smaller depending upon the screen size. Thanks.

When we commit the changes, UoW should iterate through the list of Added, Updated and Deleted objects and somehow find a class responsible to Add, Update, Delete objects of a certain type.
