    I have a small site with facebook like button. I want to find out the information about what pages are liked. I've found url http://graph.facebook.com/?id=http://imdb.com but it shows only overal count for the site. I think that I can ask http://graph.facebook.com/?ids=url1,url2 with all my pages as the parameters to get detailed information, but this seems to be an ugly solution. A have lots of pages, so I have to ask facebook many times. Maybe there is some simple way of finding the information I need?

  • IIS7 - how to place application in a folder inside application web site

    I have a static web site with a blog (an asp.net application), the blog is in a subdirectory of the web site so: example.com/, example.com/Something.htm, example.com/folder/somefile.htm, etc. - are all static files example.com/blog, example.com/blog/categories.aspx, example.com/blog/2011/11/09/post-name.aspx, etc. - all go to the blog app I'm upgrading the static part of the web site to a dynamic site (also an asp.net application) and the blog is incompatible with the new app (the app needs handlers and modules loaded in web.config that don't work with the blog) Also, I have to keep all the old URLs the same - so I can't move the blog to a subdomain or the new app to a folder and the blog generates links based on its folder so clever redirection tricks wouldn't work. Is there a way to place an asp.net application in a folder inside another application (either as a real or virtual folder) so that the root web.config settings don't apply to the application folder? Or some other trick I didn't think of? The system is running IIS7 on Windows Server 2008 64bit, I have full control over the server's configuration. I can't modify the blog's source code but I can edit its web.config and other configuration. I can modify the source of the new application but I can't make it compatible with the blog (most of its usefulness comes from a 3rd party library that is not compatible with the blog).     I added the authlogic_facebook_connect plugin to my project and I'm now having problem running my cucumber test because of a NoMethodError. undefined method `set_facebook_session' for nil:NilClass (NoMethodError) In authlogic_facebook_connect/Session.rb the method "authenticating_with_facebook_connect?" is called as some sort of callback and the controller is defined but is missing the 'set_facebook_session' method. def authenticating_with_facebook_connect? controller.set_facebook_session attempted_record.nil? && errors.empty? && controller.facebook_session end I don't understand why the cucumber test is not loading the controller with this method. I also test the app in development and cucumber environments and everything works perfect. Here is the full cucumber output. The fql which is happening at the web is giving me right results but the fql happening at the iphone is not giving all the results. select name, pic_square, pic_big, uid, sex, birthday, relationship_status , current_location, meeting_sex, interests, music, tv, movies, books, quotes, education_history, work_history from user where uid = XXXXXXX is giving me different result in web when compared to the iphone.     Some sites doesn't work normally, they are open, without css, images and javascript errors... Facebook stucks on static.ak.fbcdn.net Twitter stucks on a1.twimg.com Yahoo stucks on l.yimg.com On firefox I'm receiving Waiting for ...(any of those). I can access facebook only with SSL. Like https://facebook.com I ping them, only receive request timed out. Update: When I ping static.ak.fbcdn.net I refer to a749.g.akamai.net, when I ping this server I get Request timed out.

    I am trying to implement a stateless server. I'm using LAMP with Php but when I connect to the facebook server using facebook connect. Wouldn't it return a facebook session to me which my server will mantain. Does that remove the whole point of being stateless? Basically I want to have multiple application servers and a dumb load balancer which just sees the number of people connected to the server not who is connected to a server.
