• PCI compliance: using SSL as transport layer for RDP (Terminal Service)

  My client failed her PCI compliance audit. The server supports Remote Desktop (Terminal Service) but only provides encryption and not authentication. This exposes the server to Man-In-The-Middle attacks. The supposed solution is to force SSL as the transport layer for RDP. Anyone know how to do this? The server runs Windows 2003.

• NSColor transparency on black background?

  In the background of my view, I draw a light blue color. And in the middle, i have a square box that is supposed to have an even lighter gray in it that has a 20% transparency. To select all people with last names ending in a particular letter, let's say A for this example, I use the following query: SELECT * FROM db WHERE Name LIKE '% A%'. However, this also selects users who have a middle name starting with A. Is there anyway to alter this query so that only a last name ending in A will be selected?

  I have an ant build that concatenates my javascript into one file and then compresses it. The problem is that Visual Studio's default encoding attaches a BOM to every file. How do I configure ant to strip out BOM's that would otherwise appear in the middle of the resulting concatenated file? In the middle column the product thumbnails drop down below when the 'float: left;' parameter is used. It is as if it is being escaped by a tag from that point forward no 'float: left's work and all the items are centered moving forward.
