• OpenRasta overwriting Content-Length header in HEAD responses

  I'm creating a pretty simple HTTP service using OpenRasta. For HEAD requests, the HTTP 1.1 spec states that HEAD requests should have the Content-Length set to "the size of the entity-body that would have been sent had the request been a GET" (section 14.13). However, OpenRasta apparently sees that the response body is empty and automatically sets the Content-Length header to "0". What is the recommended way to override this behavior? Thanks-

• HMVC or PAC - how to handle shared abstractions/models?

  In HMVC/PAC, what's the recommended way to code if two or more triads/agents share a common model/abstraction? Do you instantiate a new instance of that model wherever needed, and propogate a change in one to all the other instances via the controllers? Or do instantiate one model at some common upper level, and inject that instance wherever needed? (Or neither if I'm missing something fundamental about these patterns?)

• UIWebView or Custom UIView

  I have a dilemma and was wondering if anyone else had this issue. I have a Navigation based app that when you drill down to the last level, that last view has lots and lots of information and details. I am wondering if I should just use a UIWebView to display the details of information or if I should create a custom UIView with all the labels and outlets set in that UIView. Which way is recommended or the preferred way of doing something like this?

• Does clustered index on foreign key column increase join performance vs non-clustered ?

  In many places it's recommended that clustered indexes are better utilized when used to select range of rows using BETWEEN statement. When I select joining by foreign key field in such a way that this clustered index is used, I guess, that clusterization should help too because range of rows is being selected even though they all have same clustered key value and BETWEEN is not used. Considering that I care only about that one select with join and nothing else, am I wrong with my guess ?

• What is the most effective way to create BigInteger instance from int value?

  I have a method (in 3rd-party library) with BigInteger parameter: public void setValue (BigInteger value) { ... } I don't need 'all its power', I only need to work with integers. So, how can I pass integers to this method?   I have a QAbstractItemView that needs to react to single and double click events. The actions are different depending on whether it was single clicked or double clicked. The problem that is occurring is that the single click event is received prior to the double click event. Is there a recommended way/best practice for distinguishing between the two?
