The programm handles high volumes of documents as "batch"(2Million documents;total 1TB volume) Some of this documents may contain control chars or chars like f0e8(http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/f0e8/browsertest.htm).     I'm trying to use the C preprocessor on non-C code, and it works fine except for creating lines like this at the top: # 1 "test.java" # 1 "<built-in>" # 1 "<command-line>" # 1 "test.java" The problem is that these lines aren't valid in Java. Is there any way to get the preprocessor to not write this stuff? I'd prefer not to have to run this through something else to just remove the first 4 lines every time.

    Oh gosh here a lot today - oops Folks, best way to do this: $j('.done').append('Your services have been updated'); (that bits done) but then remove the append after say 5 seconds so that if a person resubmits a form(allowed) the append does not continue adding the text? i.e updated once "Your services have been updated", twice would read "Your services have been updated Your services have been updated" but I would only want Your services have been updated to show once

I tried it with my .htaccess and something like: RewriteEngine on followed by either RewriteRule ^file(.*)$ file.php$1 or RewriteRule ^file(.+)$ file.php$1 but it doesn't work. (First gives error 500, second gives 404) Example what I want to call in the browser: file?param=asd&foo=bar - It should call as: file.php?param=asd&foo=bar
