  • QScrollArea widget content promoted to QWidget

    Hi folks, First of all, thanks for you time reading my question. I created my own Qt Widget (parent of QWidget) and has a QImage "inside" to manipulate images. The problem I have is the following: when I promote the content of a QScrollArea to my widget, the scroll features doesn't works; I haven't any scroll bar or I can't see any result when I use the method 'ensureVisible(..)'. Please can you tell me if I need to overload or override any method in my own widget. Regards and thanks in advance, Oscar.

  • Killing COM object from C#

    I have a COM object that we are calling from C#. This works great, and I have my own pool of objects that I can use whenever I want. Now I need to kill the object. I've tried releasing the COM object explicitly and then garbage collecting from another thread, but that does nothing. Does anyone have any other ideas to kill this object? Thanks for the help. I've tried System.Runtime.InteropServices.Marshal.ReleaseComObject(myApp); GC.Collect(); GC.WaitForPendingFinalizers (); myApp = null; and I create it by myApplication.ApplicationClass myApp = new myApplication.ApplicationClass(); Thanks, Pradeep

  • Plupload - how to stop uploads individualy

    Hello. I'm using plupload script with PHP and I am uploading using HTML5. I would like to stop uploads separately, from the list, not the whole process. Is this possible with plupload ? I think it would be useful to stop individual files. Thanks. EDIT: Let's just say that a user tries to upload 2 files and they are added to queue. After that, he clicks the upload button and the upload starts. At some point during the upload he realize that he doesn't really want to upload the second file, he needs to stop the 2nd upload and the 1st upload should continue. I can send an uploader.start(); on the plupload but it will stop all upload processes...and I need to stop just one. Thanks.

  • Parsing Serialized JSON DataSet using Jquery

    Hello all, and thanks for reading. I wrote a web service which is called through jsonp, and returns a .Net 3.5 DataSet which I then want to parse using jquery. It appears that the getJson() method is working fine as far as parsing the json goes. The following request - $.getJSON("http://localhost:80/ws.asmx/Example?format=json&callback=?", function(data) { alert(data.d); }); results in - {"Tables": [ { "Rows": [ { "CASE_TYP_CD": "M", "CASE_TYP_DESC": "MOVING VIOLATION", "AUTO_GENERATE": "Y", "CONFIDENTIAL_FLG": "N" }, { "CASE_TYP_CD": "T", "CASE_TYP_DESC": "TRUANCY/FAILURE TO ATTEND SCHOOL", "AUTO_GENERATE": "Y", "CONFIDENTIAL_FLG": "N" }, { "CASE_TYP_CD": "J", "CASE_TYP_DESC": "JUVENILE", "AUTO_GENERATE": "Y", "CONFIDENTIAL_FLG": "N" }... Well I'm kind of new at this whole json thing and I can't figure out how to gain access to the values held in the nodes.   • receive emails in a .NET service (C#)

    Hi, this is my first posting on stackoverflow, so don't flame me too much ;) I'm building a service that's monitoring devices and should be able to receive emails from users, parse them and take action accordingly. It should also be able to send emails about the status of the devices, etc. I'll be using Windows.Live email, and as I said, a .NET service that should be able to send/recieve emails. I am wondering what kind of system would I need to cater for receiving the emails, as I already know how to send them via the System.net.Mail API. Thanks.     Hi Forum, I am new to Blackberry development (I am using Eclipse with Blackberry plug-in), I am trying to read a text file, which I placed in the "src" folder of my Blackberry project and this text file just contain a word "Test". when I run the program, I gets "UncaughtException: java.lang.outofmemoryerror".   • Email form isn't sending

    Hi I have an email form that isn't sending out an email to the recipient or a copy to the client. The form can be found at www.kelcos.co.uk/contact and the files associated with this are: /index.php /jquery.js /sendemail.php /submitform.php /thanks.php /verify.php I have used this form on other websites http://www.bowlesgreen.co.uk/contact/ and http://www.arbortectreecare.co.uk/contact/ and it works fine - the only difference is that these other sites use my usual hosting provider and for the one that won't send I'm working through the clients hosting provider, which I can only presume is what is causing the problem. I have contacted the hosting and so far we have eliminated a few things such as: 'The limitation to our systems is that the emails sent using scripts will be blocked if they are not going to or coming from an email address setup on the web hosting account. - so I am now sending the form to an a kelcos.co.uk address, but still no joy. PHP/ASP was originally disabled, but now has been activated the mail() script is enabled I would really appreciated any advise any of you could offer. Thanks
