• UIImagepickerController strange bug

  Hi, I'm doing something with UIImagePickerController. It works fine and the Picture browser does open, however, I get this message. "Failed to save the videos metadata to the filesystem. Maybe the information did not conform to a plist." What could be causing that? That is caused by this line [self presentModalViewController:self.imgPicker animated:YES]; which is activated on a button click Snippets of the code that I have below. - (void)viewDidLoad { self.imgPicker = [[UIImagePickerController alloc] init]; self.imgPicker.allowsImageEditing = YES; self.imgPicker.delegate = self; } - (IBAction)grabImage { [self presentModalViewController:self.imgPicker animated:YES]; } it's also removing images from documents directory and from resources folder. I can not understand why? does someone found the solution to this?

  What would be the west way to open a window.showModalDialog on linkbutton when updating a form? I have a linkbutton on form that allows me to update the data, I want to be able to check if the data updatedin this case , parameter status of client is active I want to be able to open a window to fill some more information.   Hi there, I need some help to find a View inside a hierarchy. Here is how I build up the View stack. Inside my first UITableViewController I push an UIViewController that contains an UITabBarController: [[self navigationController] pushViewController:itemVC animated:YES]; Inside the UITabBarController I add an UITableViewController: ISSTableViewController *graphics = (ISSTableViewController *)[tabBarController.viewControllers objectAtIndex:3]; Inside the didSelectRowAtIndexPath I present a Modal View Controller using a UINavigationController: GraficoViewController *graph = [[GraficoViewController alloc] initWithNibName:@"GraficoViewController" bundle:nil]; UINavigationController *navigationController = [[UINavigationController alloc] initWithRootViewController:graph]; [self presentModalViewController:navigationController animated:YES]; [navigationController release]; Now the (BIG) question is: I have to hide the NagivationBar of my first UITableViewController inside my last view. I want to run a RegEx query in java that gives me the Strings 'UMLS concept ID', semantic type and match map list. Is RegEx the right tool or what is the most efficent way to accomplish this in Java?

  This is a question from Learn Objective-C on the Mac... Functions as pointers What I typed in, as per the recipe, was: NSString *boolString (BOOL yesNo) { if (yesNo) { return (@"YES"); } else { return (@"NO"); } } // boolString The pointer asterisk in the first line doesn't seem necessary, yet deleting it results in an error message. But what does it do? In NSString * boolString (yesNo); what seems to be going on is a function is defined as a pointer to an NSString. The function without the asterisk NSLog (@"are %d and %d different? %@", 5, 5, boolString(areTheyDifferent)); returns an NSString of YES or NO. But how can it return an NSString when it's a pointer? It might return the ADDRESS of an NSString; or if dereferenced it could return the CONTENTS of that address (an NSString such as YES or NO). Yet I see no place where it is dereferenced.

I've also tried stopImmediatePropagation() - but I still need to return false to stop the default behaviour of the link.

• How can I retain the editing in the tableView of the search result with UISearchDisplayController?

  I want to search a table in editing mode, but when I type a letter the variable tableView.editing is changed to NO. And when I cancel the search, the tableView.editing return to YES. I'd like to retain the editing YES in the result of the search. I put breakpoint in several methods.   I'm having issues with switching xib's when I try to from my second view into the third.   I have 3 different xib's. I am able to go back and forth between view 1 and view 2 with the following code...   I'm trying to get the users current latitude and longitude with this viewDidLoad method.   Hi Guys, We have an SVN at http:/XX.XXX.XXX.XXX:1111/svn/AB/ - and the first two folders of the SVN are like http:/XX.XXX.XXX.XXX:1111/svn/AB/abc/filefolder/ The problem is we want to move the entire svn to get rid of /abc/filefolder/ - as the entire project sits under /abc/filefolder/ [created long ago and never bothered to change] (que stupid yes yes) How would we could about fixing this so we dont loose logs etc ? We dont want to have to export and create a new svn - since then we loose all our log files. But we want to "move" the svn root so for example it becomes From: http:/XX.XXX.XXX.XXX:1111/svn/AB/abc/filefolder/documents/ To: http:/XX.XXX.XXX.XXX:1111/svn/AB/documents/ Any help appreciated ? [ps - yes had to remove http:// due to link restriction]

EDIT : I can't believe people didn't have the same problem. If someone use the photoView in his application with his own navigation and not the TTNavigation can he tell me how did he push the ViewController?

So there is a moment when I have many View Controllers and I need to come back to the first View Controller. If I come back one step at once, I use in every View Controller this code: [self dismissModalViewControllerAnimated:YES]; If I want to go back directly from the, say, sixth View Controller to the first one, what I have to do to dismiss all the Controllers at once? • Detect second tap on tableview cell iphone sdk

  Hi all, In my application, I'm expanding a tableview row when it's tapped. I'm using - (void)setSelected:(BOOL)selected animated:(BOOL)animated { [super setSelected:selected animated:animated]; if( selected == YES ) { [self expandRow]; } else { [self contractRow]; } height = [lblFeed frame].size.height + 75; } to achieve that. So when a row is tapped, this function automatically gets the signal of row tap and it sets the selected=YES. Now when I tap the same expanded row, it still sets selected=YES. I want to detect the second tap and contract the row. How shall I do that while using the same function?
