    Hi, I have to create a plugin in Delphi Prism for Application that is already in Delphi. I have read all about Hydra 3.0 in www.remobjects.com and have some queries. Can you please give me an example how to create custom Interfaces for communication between Delphi Host and .Net Plugin.(either in C# or Delphi Prism) what is the role of ModuleController in Hydra plugin and how it works there?   • .Net Windows Services and InstallState file - is it really needed?

    I've got a number of managed code Windows Services for which we use the Frameworks InstallUtil tool to install into the service control manager. This tool creates a new file at install time with an extension of .InstallState. I have experimented with deleting this file and an uninstall still works fine afterwards. So my questions is, what is this file for and is there any reason I shouldn't delete it?

I need PHP 5.2 compatibility for Magento, and fusionxlan has disappeared and archive.org doesn't have a copy. Does anyone have a copy of the fusionxlan download or dll that they can share?     For the longest time I've been curious to code in Intermediate Language just as an academic endeavour and to gain a better understanding of what's "happening under the hood". Does anybody provide Visual Studio support for *IL in the form of: project templates, IntelliSense integration, and those kind of RAD features? Edits: I don't mean restricted to out of the box support. For example, I can download Visual Studio extensions to support Python, COBOL, etc. Want the same for *IL. There is a stand-alone Intermediate Assembler tool.

    Hey, What's the easiest way to perform an FQL query from an ASP.NET application? Do I have to download the Facebook Developer Toolkit (which I only want to use as a last resort), or is there an easier way (maybe through javascript)?     I am generating a csv download from my web server and to be safe, I have enclosed each field with double quotes. i.e. "Field1","Field2","Field3","Field4" "row1_field1","row1_field2","row1_field3","row1_field4" "row2_field1","row2_field2","row2_field3","row2_field4" The problem is that when the file is opened in Excel, it does not strip all quotes... Therefore, some fields are appearing as: row1_field1 whereas others are appearing as "row1_field2" What am I not doing to ensure that excel strips all surrounding quotes?

We want to test this code using the new Microsoft Test Manager (part of VS2010) To effectively track your testing using this tool you need to use build numbers. To get Delphi 5 or 6 building in TFS Build 2010 is a huge task. One that I am not sure I want to take on. Is there a way I can just insert my build numbers in to tfs?

    I'm using OpenJPA in my application as a JPA vendor. The question is theoretical or conceptual: Is there any way to tell an entity manager to load an entity from the DB rather than from it's cache? The problematic scenario: EM1.persist(Entity1) EM2.merge(Entity1) EM1.find(Entity1) <--- Entity1 is the cached version rather than the merged one.. Any elegant way to do it? I really don't want to call em.refresh(entity).

    After watching in horror as the .net framework 3.5 SP1 bloated to whopping 231 MB I was amazed to see that .NET Framework 4 Full (x86) is only 35 MB and client profile just 29 MB... My question is if .NET Framework 4 is in any way dependent on previous versions of the framework(s) being installed on the client machine or if my users will have to download only 29 (or 35) MB if I develop a Winforms or WPF desktop application in VS 2010 targeting the .NET Framework 4?

    What is the best way to stop/start Fiddler as a daily task? I am usin Fiddler to monitor/logs https trafficon machine which runs fully automated and runs software which is not controlled by me, but uses https. My machine stopped yesterday because Fiddler went out of memory after running over 3 days and now I want to have a clean way to start/stop it. I guess I could just specify a process duration in the task manager, but I would prefer something cleaner, especially to avoid issues when things are started manually.
