  Hello ... I am developing an application web based which would let the users extend a part of an applcation using javascript via java.scripting http://java.sun.com/javase/6/docs/technotes/guides/scripting/programmer_guide/index.html The problem is that the user should write only some coditions and i want if possible to colour some special words and to check while typing if the variable that the user is typing exists.. Like a auto suggest thing... I searched at the web but didnt find many stuff. For WYSIWYG editors i couldnt determine if you can programaticcaly apply stuff and set/get caret position. Also i show that autosuggest is nearly impossible. It should be locatted outside of the textbox area.

• Spark compiled views locating

  Hello I have a problem with Spark. I have compiled assembly with views, located in bin subfolder of website, that i created like below engine.BatchCompilation(targetFolder, Global.AllKnownDescriptors()); On start of my app, a try to load compiled views: svf.Engine.LoadBatchCompilation(Assembly.LoadFrom(Path.Combine(basePath, "SharedViews.dll"))); When debugging, i can see that this was successfull. But ViewEngine doesn't find that views. It even doesn'n look for them in CompiledViewHolder where they are located. May that problem be caused ny wrong IViewFolder? Or i should do something more to use compiled views? Thanks

  hello. I have need to print indented template names for debugging purposes. For example, instead of single-line, I would like to indent name like this: boost::phoenix::actor< boost::phoenix::composite< boost::phoenix::less_eval, boost::fusion::vector< boost::phoenix::argument<0>, boost::phoenix::argument<1>, I started writing my own but is getting to be complicated. • JQUERY Prepending an LI to an UL with Animation

  Hello, I have a UL and I'm working to dynamically add a new LI to the top of the UL with some animation. I have the following so far which works ok: $("#container").prepend('<li id="newhere"><input type="checkbox" /><span class="listTitle">Im new here</span><ul></ul></li>').hide().slideDown("slow"); #container is the UL The problem with the above is that is hides the entire UL and then slides the entire UL down and I just want the NEW LI that was prepended to animate. • Removing duplicates without overriding hash method

  Hello, I have a List which contains a list of objects and I want to remove from this list all the elements which have the same values in two of their attributes. I had though about doing something like this: List<Class1> myList; .... Set<Class1> mySet = new HashSet<Class1>(); mySet.addAll(myList); and overriding hash method in Class1 so it returns a number which depends only in the attributes I want to consider. The problem is that I need to do a different filtering in another part of the application so I can't override hash method in this way (I would need two different hash methods). What's the most efficient way of doing this filtering without overriding hash method? Thanks

• How do you handle the deletion of your model working with ViewModels and keeping them in sync ?

  Hello, these could be my entity relations: 1 Pupil has 1 Chair 1 Pupil has N Documents 1 Pupil has N Marks 1 Pupil has N IncidentReports etc... So with that sample I get 4 IEnumerable from my database put each into an ObservableCollection. Now I have 4 different Views each bound to one of those 4 collections. Lets assume I delete a single PupilViewModel in the AdministrationController which is the only View where I can delete a PupilViewModel. Now I have to inform 3 other Controller and their ObservableCollections about the one deleted PupilViewModel to keep the whole application synchronized... thats stupid somehow. Do you have any good advice on that scenario? AND it gets even worse. If I delete a schoolclass I have to sync the pupils everywhere AND the documents or incidentreports or marks... gush... o_O

  Hello, looking for some help with images referenced within the stylesheet. I have no problems with these from non secure locations within the site but only from https. The stylesheet loads fine and displays everything correctly except for the images. example: body { margin: 0; padding: 0; background: url(/img/background_tile.gif) top left repeat-x; text-align: center; background-color: #fff; } All my css files and other image paths inside the code use relative urls to images. How can I make sure they all work fine without hard coding my image paths with https or http? I want the code to work fine with http and https. Thanks

• Repeated Scene Trees (Java3d / OpenGL)

  Hello, I want to make a 3d scene that loops around on its self. That is to say, if you keep going in any direction, you will loop back to the other side. My current implementation is so bad, it's embarrassing to admit to it. I redraw the each change twenty-seven times, to make a 3x3x3 scene cube. When the user reaches the end of the middle cube, I jump them over to the other side. Maintaining consistency (let alone performance) is a nightmare. Total Disaster. This doesn't seem like it would be an unusual request, so I'm wondering if anyone knows of a more legit solution. Thanks!

Changing Style Synchronously </f:facet> Each component in the RichFaces has a pre-defined set of classes you can manipulate with. If defined, those classes overwrite the ones come from the skin. </rich:panel> from the RichFaces demo, in my JSF page and no header appears, although I've nothing in my css which would interfere. I aint lazy but I am trying to find a good way to do this... A solution would be a replace of exam.normals[1] with exam.normals[+ index +] but I should substr the whole string first.... With regexp I don’t know how to do the replace. good...

  Hello everybody, I have a JSF application and when user click on button I want to open a web page. Desktop.getDesktop().browse(uri); probably opens a web page on server side, how to do it on client side? when i try Desktop.getDesktop().browse(uri); it works, but maybe its because I open the JSF application on localhost so I dont know if the opened uri is on server side or client side. In the specification for getDesktop() its written: getDesktop() Returns the Desktop instance of the current browser context. Thanks!

• Unable to read .rtf file in VS.NET 2008 Setup

  Hello All I have created a simple windows application in .NET 2008. Im packaging the same into a setup file using .NET Setup and Deployment. Also i am customizing it to include a License Agreement UI. And i am pointing the License Agreement window to read the license.rtf file which is being included in the Application folder. After successful build, if i run the setup file i can see the License Agreement window but i cannot see the content of my file. Any ideas what is the issue behind this ? Regards CL

• How to export more than 1MB in XML format using sqlcmd and without an input file?

  Hello, In SQL Server 2008, I want to export the result of a stored procedure to a file using sqlcmd utility. Now the end of my stored procedure is a select statement with a "for xml path.." clause at the end. I read on BOL that if I don't want my output truncated when reaching 1MB file size, I have to use this :XML ON command, but it should be placed on its own line, before calling the stored procedure. Does any of you experts know if it is possible to do that without specifying an input file for sqlcmd? (I'm calling sqlcmd like this: exec master..xp_cmdshell 'sqlcmd -Q"exec storedProcedureName @param1=value1, @param2=value2" -o c:\exportResults.xml -h-1 -E', but "storedProcedureName" and its parameters can change, which would mean 1 input file per passed parameters to sqlcmd) Also, it seems that I can't use bcp instead of sqlcmd because my stored procedure is creating a temporary table and performing DML statements on it?   Hello! I want to do permutation in perl. For example I have three arrays. ["big", "tiny", "small"] and then I have ["red", "yellow", "green"] and also ["apple", "pear", "banana"]. How do I get: ["big", "red", "apple"] ["big", "red", "pear"] ..etc.. ["small", "green", "banana"] I understand this is called permutation. But I am not sure how to do it. Also I don't know how many arrays I can have. There may be three or four, so I don't want to do nested loop.

It would need to be saved in the Documents folder of the app. I have seen the URLCache example that apple presented, but I didn't find it useful since it was an image that was being shown. To make Emacs find Octave, and to make Octave's prompt what Emacs expects, I added the following to the end of my .emacs file: (setq inferior-octave-program "C:/Octave/3.2.3_gcc-4.4.0/bin/octave-3.2.3.exe") (setq inferior-octave-startup-args (list "--eval" "PS1('octave:\# ');" "--persist")) When I do M-x run-octave, I get the "wait" cursor. I can see (using procexp) that Octave starts up as a child process to Emacs, but Emacs and Octave do not talk. Any insight would be much appreciated.
