Qt drag & drop button; drop not detecting

I'm creating a 2D game in QT and i'm trying to implement a drag & drop into my program. Why is insertion into my tree faster on sorted input than random input?

Now I've always heard binary search trees are faster to build from randomly selected data than ordered data, simply because ordered data requires explicit rebalancing to keep the tree height at a minimum. Recently I implemented an immutable treap, a special kind of binary search tree which uses randomization to keep itself relatively balanced. In contrast to what I expected, I found I can consistently build a treap about 2x faster and generally better balanced from ordered data than unordered data -- and I have no idea why. Exception - Illegal Block size during decryption(Android)

I am writing an application which encrypts and decrypts the user notes based on the user set password. i used the following algorithms for encryption/decryption 1. PBEWithSHA256And256BitAES-CBC-BC 2. PBEWithMD5And128BitAES-CBC-OpenSSL e_Cipher = Cipher.getInstance(PBEWithSHA256And256BitAES-CBC-BC); d_Cipher = Cipher.getInstance(PBEWithSHA256And256BitAES-CBC-BC); e_Cipher.init() d_Cipher.init() encryption is working well, but when trying to decrypt it gives Exception - Illegal Block size after encryption i am converting the cipherText to HEX and storing it in a sqlite database. i am retrieving correct values from the sqlite database during decyption but when calling d_Cipher.dofinal() it throws the Exception. I thought i missed to specify the padding and tried to check what are the other available cipher algorithms but i was unable to found. so request you to please give the some knowledge on what are the cipher algorithms and padding that are supported by Android? if the algorithm which i used can be used for padding, how should i specify the padding mechanism? I am pretty new to Encryption so tried a couple of algorithms which are available in BouncyCastle.java but unsuccessful. Convert Decimal to ASCII

I'm having difficulty using reinterpret_cast. Before I show you my code I'll let you know what I'm trying to do. I'm trying to get a filename from a vector full of data being used by a MIPS I processor I designed. Basically what I do is compile a binary from a test program for my processor, dump all the hex's from the binary into a vector in my c++ program, convert all of those hex's to decimal integers and store them in a DataMemory vector which is the data memory unit for my processor. I also have instruction memory. So When my processor runs a SYSCALL instruction such as "Open File" my C++ operating system emulator receives a pointer to the beginning of the filename in my data memory. So keep in mind that data memory is full of ints, strings, globals, locals, all sorts of stuff. When I'm told where the filename starts I do the following: Convert the whole decimal integer element that is being pointed to to its ASCII character representation, and then search from left to right to see if the string terminates, if not then just load each character consecutively into a "filename" string. Do this until termination of the string in memory and then store filename in a table. My difficulty is generating filename from my memory. The referenced method "humanize" isn't used for anything I'm doing at the moment, but belongs to the Model because it's used in several other places. Of course, removing the method is not really an option right now, and the model contains several other methods as well so I assume if I just move the humanize method around, it will generate an error on the next one. Scrollbar still is painted after it should be removed

I have the following custom control and can place on a form (with AutoScroll set to true and the control anchored left, top and right). If the form is too short for the control, the form correctly resizes the control (to make room for the scroll) and displays the scroll bar. When the control is closed using the close glyph, the control is resized and the scroll bar is removed, but occasionally the scroll bar appears to remain painted. If the form is minimized or moved off-screen, the leftover paint is removed. I've tried Parent.Invalidate and have toyed with it in many ways but to no avail. Any suggestions? Cookie: ASP.NET SessionId Issue

I have a load generator that appends a ASP.NET_SessionId to the Cookie when making a Soap test call from Machine A to Machine B. Cookie: ASP.NET_SessionId=gf0ouay24sdneiuicpiggn45; However, when I'm running the soap test hitting my local server it doesn't have an ASP.NET_Session variable in the cookie. Why is this happening? UPDATE: I'm getting this issue now on the server: Forms authentication failed for the request. Reason: The ticket supplied was invalid. How do I prevent my form from freezing when it is loading an image from the web at the click of a button?

I want to display an image from the web to a panel in another Jframe at the click of a button but whenever I click the button first the image loads and during this time the current form potentially freezes and once the image has loaded the form is displayed with the image.. I want to pull in data using a XML::XPath parser from a XML DB file from the Worldbank site. The problem is that I'm not seeing any results in the output. I must be missing something in the code. Ideally, I would like to extract just the death rate statistics from each country XML DB (year and value). I have been banging my head with this one more the two weeks, and still don't know what the problem is ( I can't narrow it down). The problem is the following. I have a solution with 3 project in it all written in c# and I with LINQ. One project is the main web site, the other is the data layer (communication with the database) and the third one is a custom little CMS. The problem is the following: On a hosting provider when I publish the site it all works perfectly, but this site was needed to be hosted on the client server so I needed to do that. mdadm: Win7-install created a boot partition on one of my RAID6 drives. How to rebuild?

My problem happened when I attempted to install Windows 7 on it's own SSD. The Linux OS I used which has knowledge of the software RAID system is on a SSD that I disconnected prior to the install. This was so that windows (or I) wouldn't inadvertently mess it up. However, and in retrospect, foolishly, I left the RAID disks connected, thinking that windows wouldn't be so ridiculous as to mess with a HDD that it sees as just unallocated space. Boy was I wrong! After copying over the installation files to the SSD (as expected and desired), it also created an ntfs partition on one of the RAID disks. Both unexpected and totally undesired! . I changed out the SSDs again, and booted up in linux. mdadm didn't seem to have any problem assembling the array as before, but if I tried to mount the array, I got the error message: mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/md0, missing codepage or helper program, or other error In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try dmesg | tail or so dmesg: EXT4-fs (md0): ext4_check_descriptors: Block bitmap for group 0 not in group (block 1318081259)! EXT4-fs (md0): group descriptors corrupted! I then used qparted to delete the newly created ntfs partition on /dev/sdd so that it matched the other three /dev/sd{b,c,e}, and requested a resync of my array with echo repair > /sys/block/md0/md/sync_action This took around 4 hours, and upon completion, dmesg reports: md: md0: requested-resync done. A bit brief after a 4-hour task, though I'm unsure as to where other log files exist (I also seem to have messed up my sendmail configuration). I also could be totally wrong in my assumptions, that the creation of the ntfs partition on /dev/sdd and subsequent deletion has changed something that cannot be fixed this way. My question: Help, what should I do? If I should do what I suggested , how do I do that? From reading documentation, etc, I would think maybe: mdadm --manage /dev/md0 --set-faulty /dev/sdd mdadm --manage /dev/md0 --remove /dev/sdd mdadm --manage /dev/md0 --re-add /dev/sdd However, the documentation examples suggest /dev/sdd1, which seems strange to me, as there is no partition there as far as linux is concerned, just unallocated space. Maybe these commands won't work without. Maybe it makes sense to mirror the partition table of one of the other raid devices that weren't touched, before --re-add. What is happening though is that when I move onto the language list, and I go past Germany (~50% down the list?), the hover() loses focus and closes the original menu, which closes the language menu. Any idea's what is causing the issue? Any ideas how to fix the issue? I have tried the hoverIntent() plugin as well to no avail.

App crashes when adding array data to table cells

I am trying to create a table view that loads a number of tweets into the table (one per cell etc). I am using NSXMLParser to get the information and have got as far as creating an array with the selection of tweets that I want. However, when I try to add them to the table cells, the app crashes on the line: cell.textLabel.text = cellValue; An NSLog before this shows in the console that the app is getting the correct data, so I am a bit stumped as to why this isn't working. Problem with GCC calling static templates functions in templated parent class.

I have some code that compiles and runs on MSVC++ but will not compile on GCC. I have made a test snippet that follows. My goal was to move the static method from BFSMask to BFSMaskSized. Can someone explain what is going on with the errors (esp. the weird 'operator<' error)? Thank you.
