    I use the classpath attribute in custom Ant tasks to tell Ant where to find the external task jar, but how do I do the same for built-in tasks? In my case I'd like to make sure ant uses my copy of jsch.jar for the scp task, and not one that my already be installed on the system. Is there any way I can <scp> while guaranteeing it's using my jsch.jar?

  • In GWT I'd like to load the main page on www.domain.com and a dynamic page on www.domain.com/xyz - I

    Hi, I have a question for which I'm sure there must a simple solution. I'm writing a small GWT application where I want to achieve this: www.domain.com : should serve the welcome page www.domain.com/xyz : should serve page xyz, where xyz is just a key for an item in a database. If there is an item associated with key xyz, I'll load that and show a page, otherwise I'll show a 404 error page. I was trying to modify the web.xml file accordingly but I just couldn't make it work. I could make it work with an url-pattern if the key in question is after another /, for example: www.domain.com/search/xyz. However, I'd like to have the key xyz directly following the root / (http://www.domain.com/xyz). Something like <servlet-mapping> <servlet-name>main</servlet-name> <url-pattern>/</url-pattern> </servlet-mapping> doesn't seem to work as I don't know how to address the main page index.html (as it's not an actual servlet) which will then load my main GWT module. I could make it work with a bad work around (see below): Redirecting a 404 exception to index.html and then doing the look up in the main entry point, but I'm sure that's not the best practice, also for SEO purposes. Can anyone give me a hint on how to configure the web.xml with GWT for my purpose? Thanks a lot.   • UAC being turned off once a day on Windows 7

    I have strange problem on my HP laptop. This began to happen recently. Whenever I start my machine, Windows 7 Action Center displays the following warning: You need to restart your computer for UAC to be turned off. Actually, this does not happen if it happened once on a specific day. For example, when I start the machine in the morning, it shows up; but it never shows up in the subsequent restarts within that day. On the next day, the same thing happens again. I never disable UAC, but obviously some rootkit or virus causes this. As soon as I get this warning, I head for the UAC settings, and re-enable UAC to dismiss this warning. This is a bothersome situation as I can't fix it. First, I have run a full scan on the computer for any probable virus and malware/rootkit activity, but TrendMicro OfficeScan said that no viruses have been found. I went to an old Restore Point using Windows System Restore, but the problem was not solved. What I have tried so far (which couldn't find the rootkit): TrendMicro OfficeScan Antivirus AVAST Malwarebytes' Anti-malware Ad-Aware Vipre Antivirus GMER TDSSKiller (Kaspersky Labs) HiJackThis RegRuns UnHackMe SuperAntiSpyware Portable Tizer Rootkit Razor (*) Sophos Anti-Rootkit SpyHunter 4 There are no other strange activities on the machine. 8204 bytes As suggested in this very similar question, I have run full scans (+boot time scans) with RegRun and UnHackMe, but they also did not find anything. I have carefully examined all entries in the Event Viewer, but there's nothing wrong. Now I know that there is a hidden trojan (rootkit) on my machine which seems to disguise itself quite successfully. Note that I don't have the chance to remove the HDD, or reinstall the OS as this is a work machine subjected to certain IT policies on a company domain. Despite all my attempts, the problem still remains. I strictly need a to-the-point method or a pukka rootkit remover to remove whatever it is. I don't want to monkey with the system settings, i.e. disabling auto runs one by one, messing the registry, etc. EDIT 2: I have found an article which is closely related to my trouble: Malware can turn off UAC in Windows 7; “By design” says Microsoft. It is happening once a day for sure no matter if the machine is rebooted.

    In nHibernate, if you do an HQL query with "join fetch" to eagerly load a child collection, nHibernate will ignore SetMaxResults and SetFirstResult and try to retrieve every single item from the database. Why? This behavior is specific to HQL, as ICriteria supports eager loading (with an outer join, though) and LIMIT. I have a website project that has more than 50,000 unimportant files (to development) in some directories. /website.com/files/1.txt /website.com/files/2.txt /website.com/files/3.txt /website.com/files/etc.txt The stuff in /files is already in the repo. I want to delete all the files in /files on my local copy but I want git to ignore it so it doesn't delete them when I do a pull on the web server. Any ideas?

  • How can I create a new branch in git from an existing file tree?

    I am looking to add an existing file tree to a git repository as a new branch (I can't just copy the existing tree into my git tree, since the existing tree is versioned under a different VCS, and I am trying to sync them up). Is this possible? EDIT: Would setting up a new git repository, that is connected to the existing remote repository, and then moving the resulting .git folder work? That seems really hackish, but if that's the way to do it...

    The problem: combobox is databound to a DataView, first item in the dataview is DataRowView whose fields are DBNull.Value; Combo DropdownStyle = ComboBoxStyle.DropDownList Loads fine, displays fine, selects fine, problem is to Unselect via code. Setting the SelectedIndex to 0 throws an exception. (Setting to -1 is a no-no as per msdn doco that says dont set SelectedIndex=-1 if databound) So how to unselect without throwing an exception ? For now i wrapped it into a try/catch to just ignore the error! EDIT: As asked by Hubeza, i worked on sample code to post. Did a stripped down version of the original code in C# (original is in VB.NET) and could NOT reproduce it either. Converted to VB.NET and could NOT reproduce it either ! In other words, SelectedIndex = 0 does work in the stripped down version! Currently further investigating what else could be wrong with the original code. EDIT2: Case Closed.     I have some viewdata that is generated by going through my repository to the database to grab some scheduling info. When the information is stored in the Viewdata, I noticed that the viewdata is enumerated. How could I access the enumerated items and generate a table/list based on the viewdata?     If I create a website that uses an mdf in App_Data with the connection string: Server=.\SQLExpress;AttachDbFilename=|DataDirectory|mydbfile.mdf;Database=dbname; Trusted_Connection=Yes; what do I need to do to run the site in a shared hosting environment? Do I need to copy the contents of my mdf to the main SQL Server engine of my host? Is there a way to use the non-SQLExpress engine of my host and still keep my mdf in my App_Data?

  • A simple Python deployment problem - a whole world of pain

    We have several Python 2.6 applications running on Linux. Some of them are Pylons web applications, others are simply long-running processes that we run from the command line using nohup. We're also using virtualenv, both in development and in production. What is the best way to deploy these applications to a production server? In development we simply get the source tree into any directory, set up a virtualenv and run - easy enough. We could do the same in production and perhaps that really is the most practical solution, but it just feels a bit wrong to run svn update in production. We've also tried fab, but it just never works first time. For every application something else goes wrong. It strikes me that the whole process is just too hard, given that what we're trying to achieve is fundamentally very simple. Here's what we want from a deployment process. We should be able to run one simple command to deploy an updated version of an application. (If the initial deployment involves a bit of extra complexity that's fine.) When we run this command it should copy certain files, either out of a Subversion repository or out of a local working copy, to a specified "environment" on the server, which probably means a different virtualenv. We have both staging and production version of the applications on the same server, so they need to somehow be kept separate. If it installs into site-packages, that's fine too, as long as it works. We have some configuration files on the server that should be preserved (ie. not overwritten or deleted by the deployment process). Some of these applications import modules from other applications, so they need to be able to reference each other as packages somehow. This is the part we've had the most trouble with! I don't care whether it works via relative imports, site-packages or whatever, as long as it works reliably in both development and production. Ideally the deployment process should automatically install external packages that our applications depend on (eg. psycopg2). That's really it! How hard can it be?

But I would like to collect, say, memory usage by each item I have put into the server--the total no. of items in the same category, etc... more importantly, the bytes used by individual pieces.

    I have this set NSMutableSet *mySet = [NSMutableSet setWithObjects: @"2", @"8", @"7", @"0", @"3", nil]; I copy the set to an array and sort it using NSArray *sortedArray = [[mySet allObjects] sortedArrayUsingSelector:@selector(compare:)]; The resulting array is in exactly the same order as the set and is not being sorted.   • Programmatically go to another page with a ListView?

    Is there a way to find out what page a ListView item is on and to programmatically go to that page? I have a ListView with a DataPager that controls the paging. The reason for this is that, if I am on Page 2 of the ListView and I navigate away from the page, when I go back, I want to go back to the ListView page I was previously on.
