  • Linux scp command issue

    Hello everyone, I am using scp command to copy file from a MacBook Pro OS X 10.5 to another Linux box (Red Hat Linux Enterprise 5). I am using the following command on Mac, sudo scp ~/.ssh/mykey.rsa [email protected], there is no output from Mac command line. I am not sure whether the scp is success or not. Where is the location the file mykey.rsa on remote computer 10.10.100.101? thanks in advance, George

Sometimes I need to embed a slideshow pro file and sometimes I need to embed a youtube file and sometimes a vimeo file in the same area for different entries, it would be easiest to use embed code but it keeps stripping the embed code.     I recently upgraded my MacBook Pro to Snow Leopard and "git pull" returns: rakudo $ git pull git: 'pull' is not a git-command. See 'git --help' Did you mean this? shell rakudo $ git-pull -bash: git-pull: command not found I've tried reinstalling via macports, but to no avail. Then I saw this rakudo $ git --exec-path /Users/ovid/libexec/git-core That surprised me as that directory does not exist, nor has it ever existed. Google is not helping here. Hopefully you can :)

  • Why is SpringSource Tool Suite (STS) so slow? And how can I fix it?

    I've been running STS 2.3.2 on a MacBook Pro for a few days now. I'm finding the performance to be significantly slower than any other build of Eclipse I've used. For example, switching from one tab to another can take up to 4 seconds. I tried turning off much of the validation, and increasing the memory, but it's not making a difference. Are others having similar experiences?

If I put the old XP on my new machine, will i be bale to use the 64bit windows 7 Pro upgrade instead of having to buy the full version? Will it still do a clean install?

  • Why do I get this error "EMCIDeviceError" when opening some wav files in my program.

    Hey I have this program that has been working fine until I tried to open this one wav file? Not sure what the problem is or that I understand it? Do I need to find a new component to use for this file or what? I am using Delphi 4 Pro and the standard VCL component for Media Player. I am looking for a good new component that offers more help with wav and mp3 files too but not found what I am looking for yet?
