  • Is there any free, open source php CMS\framework for described case?

    I want that cms\framework to create me tables like "Users" "Cameras" and so on and declare classes and simple default methods for them (like paged sql relults and so on). I mean I say to it: I want Users to have ID, SpecialNumber and Name Flilds. and I want to get from it class for table generation (to call it once) and class containing methods such as Search by ID, SpecialNumber and Name, Create User, Delit User and so on functions. Is there any framework/cms like this for working with CODE not ui's and so on... so to say PHP generator or something... The result should be as that framework free as possible. So Is there any free, open source php CMS\framework for described case?

  • Is there a reference document for OOTB SharePoint web part interfaces?

    I want my web parts to act as providers and consumers with OOTB SharePoint web parts, including filters. To design these web parts I need to know the interface of the OOTB web parts, eg. a "Links" web part provides an IWebPartRow, with a Type, URL and Notes. I can get the information by: a web part programmed to interact generically, and display the data it receives putting the web parts on a page, and look at the available connections inspecting the DLL's (haven't tried this, because I can't find the DLL's, but I guess it's possible) It seems strange to me that there is no documentation of these interfaces. Is there a Microsoft document, or a book, which documents the OOTB web parts and filters?

  • Search server 2008 express working with WSS 3.0 (error when crawl second web application (website) s

    My search server 2008 express crawls 3 sharepoint servers and 1 windows file server. The file server and 2 other sharepoint server crawl all content and master and sub sites just fine. On the 3rd sharepoint server the default site crawl just fine...The second web application site (content database) crawls the top site and crawls all sub sites BUT The subsites get the below error in the crawl log. Deleted by the gatherer (The start address or content source that contained this item was deleted and hence this item was deleted.) I have checked the security rights (OK) I have checked the setting to crawl a SharePoint site (if wrong the top site would not work)... ???? Last part = I can crawl 3 other sharepoint sites (web applications/other content databases) on the same server...It seems to be just this one site...

  • Trigger on database using a web application and a winform application

    Hello all, Situation: I have a web application which shows errors and where you can accept those error messages. I also have a service, which checks errors from a system and sets the error messages in the database. When I accept an error in the web application, i would like the service to know which error message has been accepted, so that it can do some other actions. My guess is that this could be done through some sort of trigger, but i can't figure out how. Can anyone help me with this?

    We are tasked with migrating an existing set of entities (currently POCOs persisted with NHibernate against an MSSQL database) to now persist to some kind of web service (yet to be built, either RESTful or SOAP-based, and that we control). I like how NHibernate encapsulates the persistence concerns and lets us maintain a logic-rich, persistence-agnostic domain model. Is there any way to make NHibernate talk to a web service at the back end instead of a SQL database directly? In other words, can "service instead of SQL database" be treated as a persistence implementation detail and allow us to continue to use NHibernate? Am I asking the right question? :)

Then hit Tab Your web control has been auto-completed for you. It's up to you to fill in the other details that you need. This works for form as well: <form action="default.aspx" method="post"> </form> This looks like a real time saver. This is supported in WebForms and ASP.NET MVC projects.   • Paging To The End Of A Data View Web Part

    Hi all! Hopefully you can help me with this. I've displayed an Announcement web part on a page with 20 items. I opened up SharePoint Designer 2007 and set the paging to 6 items. I've added a little bit of (OOB) functionality so that I have buttons for START, PREVIOUS, and NEXT. These work well without any problems but I'm wondering how do I get END to work? I tried using the $LastRow & $RealLastRow values supplied by the web part but those just give me the number of how many items are in the current view, not the total items in the list. Little help!

    I asked this on the MEF Codeplex forum already, but I haven't gotten a response yet, so I figured I'd try StackOverflow. Here's the original post if anyone's interested (this is just a copy from it): MEF Codeplex "Let me first say that I'm completely new to MEF (just discovered it today) and am very happy with it so far. However, I've ran in to a problem that is very frustrating. I'm creating an app that will have a plugin architecture and the plugins will only be stored in a single DLL file (or coded into the main app). The DLL file needs to be able to be recompiled during run-time and the app should recognize this and re-load the plugins (I know this is difficult, but it's a requirement). To accomplish this I took the approach covered http://blog.maartenballiauw.be/category/MEF.aspx there (look for WebServerDirectoryCatalog). Basically the idea is to "monitor the plugins folder, copy the new/modified assemblies to the web application’s /bin folder and instruct MEF to load its exports from there." So now at this point I should be able to re-compile the plugins DLL, drop it in to the Plugins folder, my FileWatcher detect that it's changed, and then copy it into folder "2" and directoryCatalog should point to the new folder. All this actually works! The problem is, even though it seems like every thing is pointed to the right place, my IEnumerable variable is never updated with the new plugins. So close, but yet so far! Any suggestions? I know the downsides of doing it this way, that no dll is actually getting unloaded and causing a memory leak, but it's a Windows App and will probably be started at least once a day, and the plugins are un-likely to change that often, but it's still a requirement from the client that it does this without re-loading the app. Thanks!   • HTML not updating?

    I have a CGI application written in C. When I POST delete data to the app from the html form, the action is correctly executed on the server but the page does not refresh after the POST. It does flicker, but displays the non-updated page. I then have to hit the browsers refresh to see the correct html page. Is this the web server? Javascript? or just a browser setting? (I am using GoAhead web server, cgi app in C, javascript, html and Fire Fox.) Any help is appreciated.

    We are working on a web based application (implemented in JAVA) on commodity prices and one part of it is interactive charting. I provide a simplified example here. We have a table in Mysql database where we have information on commodity prices in US states and counties. One aspect of the application is to create interactive plots based on user choice. For example, if the user needs to see the price density in Oregon and Linn county then she chooses it from the menu in a webpage and it is rendered on fly with accompanying quantile information in a table. As the user changes state and county these plots and table change on fly.For our computational need we are using R (and use rjava to integrate it to our web application) and I know that if interactivity is not an issue this is a piece of cake in ggplot2, but I am not aware of any interactive version of R graphics framework (like lattice, ggplot2). We are exploring google visualization API but I am not sure we can have the statistical power we need in some of the plots.Please help.

    I cannot, for the life of me, get this data to bind. Here's my JavaScript: var params = { 'InvItemIDs': ["188475", "188490"]}; $.post("api/Orders/OrderFromInventory?" + $.param(params)) and the Controller action: public HttpResponseMessage OrderFromInventory(IList<int> InvItemIDs) { return new HttpResponseMessage(); } I've built the query string so that it's sending: ?InvItemIDs=188475&InvItemIDs=188490 as well as ?InvItemIDs[]=188475&InvItemIDs[]=188490 and even ?InvItemIDs[0]=188475&InvItemIDs[1]=188490 and none of them are binding. InvItemIDs is always null. What am I doing wrong? EDIT: So it turns out all this is a bug (or something) in the new Web API controller code in MVC4. As soon as I moved the exact same code over to a standard controller it started working. I'm still interested if anyone has any insight as to why the Web API would break this binding.

Should I continue to look for one person with both skills, or is it better broken to two separate tasks?

    We have a third party application that provied its web services to us by ASMX and it is created at the time of .NET 1.1 in the old days we were using VB 6.0 and connected to it by a PocketSOAP, etc... bt now we want to replace the VB 6.0 with C# 3.5 WinApps and still use that third party web services. so I wish to know what are my options for doing this? which one do you recommend and which one has a faster learning curve?
