    The post office actually publishes a list of commonly used street suffixes in addresses: http://www.usps.com/ncsc/lookups/abbr_suffix.txt I want to take this list and make a ruby function that takes a string, takes the last word ("183 main strt".split[' '].last) and if it matches any of the commonly used street suffixes ("strt"), replace it with the official Postal Service Standard Suffix ("st"). Is there a better way to approach this than a massive str.sub.sub.sub.sub.sub?

    Can anyone recommend decent software that could replace a physical whiteboard, as used in Agile development? I've had a look at http://www.brightgreenprojects.com/ but ideally we'd like something we could host ourselves. We use Jira for issue tracking, and are looking at integrating GreenHopper for project management at the moment. The general feeling among users so far seems to be that GreenHopper is a little clunky. Is there a more straight-forward agile whiteboard software tool out there?

    I am using wget to mirror website using this code $ wget \ --recursive \ --no-clobber \ --page-requisites \ --html-extension \ --convert-links \ --restrict-file-names=windows \ --domains website.org \ --no-parent \ www.website.org/tutorials/html/ The next time I run it it starts downloading the same files again, however I want only the changed files to be downloaded next time. I am open to use any other tool or script(preferably PHP,Curl) apart from using wget.

    In Eclipse (and Flash/Flex Builder) you get the option with Ctrl+Shift+F to do a file search and look for a regular expression. Would be a real handy thing to know. I want to find the word negate if it appears in a Flex/java comment like the following: // It was negated because or /* The negate option was.... */ or /** * We have to negate the value */ Any ideas? I want to update a number that say 1 of 10. when the next one is displayed i want it to display 2 of 10 etc... I have looked all around and my brain is fried right now...   • Padding has blue border in IE and Firefox but not in Chrome.

    Okay, just to make it quick. 1) Go to www.simplefire.com.au - with Firefox / IE - with Chrome. 2) The image on the right seems to have blue border on Firefox / IE, but Chrome displays the page perfectly.
