  I understand I am able to filter queryset of Foreignkey or Many2ManyFields, however, how do I do that for a simple CharField that is a Select Widget (Select Tag). In other words, if the first two executions of the nested procedure succeed, but the third one fails, is it possible to preserve the results of the first two executions (and not roll them back)?   What happens when I MPI_Send to a process that has finished? I am learning MPI, and writing a small sugar distribution-simulation in C. When the factories stop producing, those processes end. When warehouses run empty, they end. Can I somehow tell if the shop's order to a warehouse did not succeed(because the warehouse process has ended) by looking at the return value of MPI_Send? The documentation doesn't mention a specific error code for this situation, but that no error is returned for success. Can I do: if (MPI_Send(...)) { ... /* destination has ended */ ... } And disregard the error code? Thanks

  I've installed JCL into Delphi 2010. Given that most of my commits are prefixed with an issue number, I wondered if there is some magic command for searching for the commit SHA from part of its message. I know it's easy to do a git log and work from there, but I want more easy :)

• Can you have a web application project produce multiple DLLS?

  I have a VS 2008 web application project that is getting large. My structure looks like: - WebRoot - Common/ - Foo/ - Bar/ - Baz/ so I end up with a single Webroot.dll that contains the code for common, foo, bar, and baz. Is it possible to set it so that I end up with common/ in webroot.dll, and code in foo ends up in foo.dll, bar in bar.dll, etc? Update: A couple of suggestions to move some stuff into class libraries. We already have a dozen or so separate class library projects as part of the solution; Foo, Bar and Baz contain nothing but web forms and the associated code-behinds, so moving them into separate class library projects is not feasible.

  I have a trigger function that I only want to fire on certain instances of INSERTS, in this case, if do_backup = true. If it fires in all instances, I get an infinite loop. The logic seems pretty simple to me, and the rest of the function works. But the trigger function does not seem to register my conditional and always runs, even when backup = true.   I have a Donation.rb model with an amount column that takes an integer. I want to sum all the individual donations together and show the total on the home page. In the home_controller, I'm doing @donations = Donation.all and then in the view I do <% sum = 0 %> <% @donations.each do |donation| %> <%= sum += donation.amount if donation.amount? %> <% end %> The problem is that this is printing the running sum each time a new donation is added to it. I just want the total sum at the end after they've all been added together.

Lets say I want to start at [0,0] and want a diagonal slice of 3. Then I would get elements from [0,0], [1,1], [2,2] and I will get an array like [1,4,7] for example above. Now the given function prints out the (previously calculated) checksum on screen, but I want to store it in a variable, to be able to compare it later on. • Uncaught syntax error: Adding <li> elements to an <ul>

  I keep getting an uncaught syntex error which I know usually means your code has a missing closing something. I keep failing to see what it is that I am missing. The idea of the function is that it extracts the a links ID and Text content and add's it to an un-ordered list. The links have a class of 'ingredient_add' and the unordered list has an ID of 'ingredientsAdded'. • Is there a way to pass a regex capture to a block in Ruby?

  I have a hash with a regex for the key and a block for the value. Something like the following: { 'test (.+?)' => { puts $1 } } Not exactly like that, obviously, since the block is being stored as a Proc, but that's the idea. I then have a regex match later on that looks a lot like this hash.each do |pattern, action| if /#{pattern}/i.match(string) action.call end end The idea was to store the block away in the hash to make it a bit easier for me to expand upon in the future, but now the regex capture doesn't get passed to the block. Is there a way to do this cleanly that would support any number of captures I put in the regex (as in, some regex patterns may have 1 capture, others may have 3)?

• Session variables return completely after unsetting.

  I have a script that should log the user out of the site. It unsets all $_SESSION and $_COOKIE variables related to the login data of the user. But somehow, it seems impossible to log out. I checked the $_SESSION array at the end of the logout script, and at the beginning of each page. At the end of the logout script it says 'array()', but when I click the home button - or any link on the site - the full session data is back again and I don't know where it comes from. This is how I try to unset the session data: unset($_SESSION); unset($_COOKIE["usid"]); unset($_COOKIE["pw"]); unset($_COOKIE["adm"]); -- I don't know how to put it on different lines, but it's not that hard to read. Why do these data keep coming back?!

  I am testing some scripts that interface with system commands. Their logic depends on the return code of the system commands, i.e. the value of $?. So, as a simplified example, the script might say: def foo(command) output=`#{command}` if $?==0 'succeeded' else 'failed' end end In order to be able to test these methods properly, I would like to be able to stub out the Kernel backquote call, and set $? to an arbitrary value, to see if I get appropriate behavior from the logic in the method after the backquote call. I can't figure out a way to do this. (In case it matters, I'm testing using Test::Unit and Mocha.)
